Sorry to have to part with this fully restored '79 Epilog I've had for 3 years. Only one of these models was sent to each VW dealer in the US in 1979 to commemorate the end of production for the Beetle Convertible, in a triple black color scheme. Over $17k has been invested which includes: Top- new vinyl, padding, headliner, rubber seals, blasted and painted frame, rear window seal, defroster and even a top boot. New paint matching original color, new rubber seals all around (German), new chrome trim, new German floor pans, undercoating, sound deadener, German running boards and gravel guards. Brand new tires, upgraded Sport Wheels, spare tire, jack and tools. New brakes, brake lines, cylinders and master. All electrical works, including the original clock that still keeps time. Radio/CD/Bluetooth with 4 speakers in front kick panels and rear deck w/ remote control. New carpet, door panels, rubber window scrapers, optional console at gear shift with wood knob, new visors and new seat covers with new padding in seats. New clutch. Totally rebuilt engine with refinished tin, German components, new engine seal, hoses, lines and new muffler. Not a single component was overlooked. Too many things to list. All receipts in hand. All work done by a local, professional VW mechanic. Priced way below market.

1969 volkswagen convertible, You will see some small round spots in some pictures,especially on the blue. This is not on the car, but on my camera lens, and would not come off. time for a new camera. I aquired this from the second owner which owned it since 2005. The little car is in great shape. I have not found any rust on the car. He had new floor pans installed a few years ago, and hardly ever drove the car, his wife drove it mostly. It has newer interior, which is cloth, no tears. A full cover comes with car, which is in the trunk. Original jack is also in trunk. The engine runs great, no smoke,rattles, and oil leaks. It drives great. disc brakes on front, everything works, including radio. The paint on the car is not show quality, but very presentable, with very few scratches, and one bubble under passenger headlight the size of a quarter. The top and boot has no tears as shown in pics. It has a Karmann emblem on passenger side as shown in pictures, for what that's worth, don't know much about volkswagens. I know every time I drive it, I get thumbs up all time. The floor pans does not even have dirt on them, still look new. I have a clear open Mississippi title in hand. This is my adorably cool 1977 sunflower orange vw beetle convertible..I bought this car in the 80's, it always ran beautifully..she purred... but she has been stored since 2001 and is not running now, there is no battery in it. When it was parked it needed a new battery, tires and brakes .. but I do not know what it needs now. The engine is very clean ( look at the pictures) and the oil is clear. This car does have rust..please see the pictures. It will need new floor pans and running boards, and other rust repairs including some on the body, some of the rust though is surface rush which could be sanded down, again look at the pictures. The top (original canvas..not vinyl), trunk, and interior..the seats..door panels, bumpers, lights, chrome.. etc are all in really good shape and original, the headliner needs a little cleaning but is solid, no sagging, will not need to be replaced. I kept any original parts when something was repaired or replaced on this car...ie: radio. Pretty much all it ever needed was a regular oil change and tune up. She was looked after lovingly and drove great. She has 83,406 documented original miles and was always serviced by Northlake VW in Tucker, Georgia, a renowned VW shop or at Jim Ellis VW in Chamblee, Ga., the top VW service departments in the Atlanta area..and I have all of the service records for this car. The original owners manual is still in the dash. I think it will be beautiful with restoration..it was always a little go getter and a head turner...it's great sunflower orange is a sought after color. I love this little car but have kept it stored all these years and never have gotten around to getting it going again..so I am going to let it go. You are welcome to come see it if you want. Anyone willing to invest a little time and money in this awesome little car will be rewarded with a classic beauty. I have a clear title to this car. I've owned this car for a couple of years now. We rebuilt the motor, put new brakes on her. She's ready to drive and enjoy.These older bug convertibles are rare and desirable. Prices are definately on the rise. This car has always beenin California. It has a clean CA title in my name. I did pay the $20 fee to non-op it since its stored in thegarage. The car runs and drives smoothly. All the lights and signals work. They are nice simple carsthat are easy to work on. Under the battery box, there is a hole in the pan. The rest of the pan is solid. The car is equipped with a 2110 cc Bernie Bergman engine which runs great and has plenty of power. The brakes have been upgraded to discs all the way around the car. This is a GREAT running car, It has been garage kept and run on weekends to keep everything in good order. New Paint , New Pans (left and right) so no rust issues, The seats where just re-done as well as the carpet flooring. This car has the original Convertible Top all original miles. I took it as a project. I bought it for $5,000 and I put $4,900 into it so I just paid $9900 for it after fixing the cosmetics. I really didn't have to but I like it this way . It really turns heads. I just need to sell it. My son wants braces and I have regular bills so somebody will get a really good car that will go up in value as they drive it. I have all receipts ! Also the McPherson struts, bushings, rubbers etc. I am told the whole front end looks newly refurbished. Also the motor has been well maintained. FREE SHIPPING TO MOST OF THE LOWER STATES IN U.S.A. 48 STARTING 11/29 NO RUST UNDER THE CAR BECAUSE THE FLOOR PANS HAVE BEE REPLACED.
