The old engine, the new clutch parts, the fly wheel, new headliner is also included in sale. They engine is with this listing that could be rebuilt, the car has some rust, dents and needs to be repainted. The trunk is dented and would need replaced or fixed. The 5 pictures that are listed shows what the vehicle looks like. The tree in one of the pictures has been removed and the car has a gray cover over it now, also included in the sale. She is NOT in perfect condition but she IS a perfect daily driver and looks every bit as fun as she is. We acquired this car from our recent visit to Mecum Auctions in Seattle and after a little bit of folksWerks love and reconditioning she is ready to move on to her next home. When we got the little beetle back to Oregon we went through it and found no Rust through, recent rebuild on the motor, a new interior, headliner and ragtop. There are a few little spots of surface rust in the hinges and lower front floor vents but not serious at all and shown in the pics. The pans are in great shape with no rust and no damage. At some point in the last few years it was re-sprayed in a sea-foam, blue-green shade that appears to be lacquer and was not the painters best day... It looks amazing from a few feet away but under close scrutiny it is definitely not an expert job. I have detailed pictures of this as well. All the seals have been replaced and the doors and factory glass are all super tight and nice. The ragtop has also been replaced and works perfectly. I resurrected an original VWofA Roof rack from my personal collection and added it to the package but will ONLY GO WITH A FULL PRICE PAID. Inside the seats, panels, carpets and headliner have all been replaced in the last few years and are all in fantastic shape. The Carpet kit could use a little refitting but that is a good Sunday task. We added a new Interstate 6V battery and tweaked all the wiring to return it back to factory specs. All lights and signals work perfectly and the aftermarket radio sounds great. The motor appears to have been freshened up and comes to life with the flick of a key and purrs like a kitten. Moving her through all her 4 speeds is effortless and the clutch appears to be strong if not new. There is the traditional 1-2 drops from under the case after a longer drive but that is the extent of it in the 500 miles we have put on the car. The brakes were totally serviced and freshened up as they seemed to be lacking when we got her. Good to go now! Driving June is nothing short of amazing and not only does it put a huge smile on your face, it beckons waves, cat-calls and wow's everywhere you go! We love the attention she gets even at the gas station. 1972 Beetle, Runs good, It starts immediately and idles properly. No need to give it gas or let it warm up like a lot vw's. It has had recent tune up at the v.w shop. Its pretty fast. It shifts very smoothly. The breaks are good. The heater is stuck in the on position. The interior is not bad. Gas gauge does not work and tears in the head liner and the interior panels are a little shabby and were painted blue with the car. The sunroof was sealed and received bondo but needs sanded. Exterior needs some paint. Its a good model, has the flat window and has good motor. It has clean title and is registerd until 2017. I will consider offers but not to low as it is a good bug. 1974 V.W beetle. Runs good, recently had full tune up at v.w shop. new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, points, air filter, adjusted valves. 1776 cc engine. Exterior was painted at some point and still looks pretty good. There are some bubbles near rear window ( i took close up pic). Some fading hear and there. Tires almost new. Interior looks good as you can see in pics. Has a c.d player hooked up to a speaker box in the back. The break lights don't work and the gas gauge only works sometimes. The ignition switch unlocks steering but there another ignition switch that starts car. I don't know why its like that. Has clean title and is currently registered. Make me offer. Thank you.

1969 Vw beetle runs good. Brand new engine with less than 50 miles on it. 1600 dp. Exterior is pretty good. Some paint pealing and small dents in front. The interior is pretty decent. The head liner is good, dash is good, seats pretty good. The door panels are there but coming off, missing window crank. When you apply breaks it pulls to left. Just needs break adjusted. Also when im driving around and go over bumps the head lights go on and off, same with blinkers. Sometimes I see a little oil coming off bottom bracket. It needs tightened or seal. Because of those reasons im selling it really cheap. This bug runs good but has little odds and ends around it that need done. When you drive it though it goes on the freeway 65 70 mph no problem. Great condition old bug. It is the 1967 which was the first year for the 12 volt system and the last of the old loop-style bumpers. The car was completely redone including engine, transmission, paint, interior, and added the rag top approximately 12 years ago.We have owned it for about 5 years and we bought it from a gentleman in southern California who owned it for 33 years. He had all the work done by professional shops in his area. The car odometer shows 18,xxx miles and we have no reason to believe it would be more than 118k miles. Solid body with no rust other that a spot of surface rust that shows on the passenger door at the lower hinge. It looks like is was not prepared properly when the car was painted.Runs like a top with all original (rebuilt) and unmodified engine and transmission.We only drive the car in clear weather and it has been garaged by the previous owner and ourselves for all of 38 years. A cover is included. We only take it around town and would recommend switching to radial tires if you decide to drive the hiways. On the other hand, I have full confidence the car would make it anywhere you want to drive, as is. Shipping is quite expensive these days.All recent maintenance has been done professionally and we are selling because we're getting too old to appreciate it. It should be driven more that we currently do. It needs a battery now which we will replace before the sale.I will help where I can to facilitate the shipping at this end.
