Cosmetically the car is in fair condition, has a few scratches along the back bumper and on the sides and only one rust spot (pictured) by the driver door handle. It needs new front wheel bearings which we estimate to cost about 300 dollars, otherwise the car is mechanically sound and we have receipts from all of its recent repairs. This is an original 1975 Volkswagen Beetle with two owners. The vehicle has a manual shift transmission with a 1600cc engine featuring the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection system (first year for this in the Beetles). The first owner was Dr. Myron Saturski (hometown Doctor) from Newcomerstown, Ohio. This vehicle was used by the first owner’s wife to drive around town, was garaged kept, and did not see snow and salt. My mom purchased this vehicle from the first owner in 1995 with 28,162 miles. Since purchasing the vehicle we have stored it in a garage and only drive it on nice days around town. This car is mechanically sound with no known issues. I am not aware of any accidents for this vehicle. I am aware of NO restoration work done to this car. There are a few minor chips and scratches, and the seat stuffing/padding is coming out of the seat bottoms. We added a stereo in 1998 and installed a fabricated speaker box so that no cutting would be done to the interior. We also used existing holes in the dash for the stereo and the factory hole for the antenna. This vehicle does have aftermarket rims, tires, and shocks. The original rims and tires go to whoever purchases this vehicle. I tuned the vehicle up at 30K miles and replaced the battery and starter a few years ago. I have had no issues with this vehicle. I would encourage anyone to have this vehicle inspected before purchasing to confirm the condition. I have sold other vehicles on Ebay and take my reputation very seriously. I will be happy to take more pictures and send those to anyone interested. This is a must see vehicle, and I hope whoever the interested buyer is can take a look at this in person before buying. 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible For Sale. Excellent Condition. Newer Paint. Newer Rebuilt Engine. Newer convertible top. I think this is what they call triple white: White body, White convertible top, and white interior. Clean and clear title in my name. History: I purchased this car locally here in NE Ohio from an older gentleman who restored it several years ago. I actually chased the car for 3-4 years before he would sell. I bought it for my wife, hoping she would be 'bit by the bug', but it never happened. I have a few other beetles and busses and hoped she'd enjoy driving one - no such luck. I might have driven 10-20 miles over the last several years so have decided to sell. Exterior Condition: The car is in very good condition. There are not many, if any defects in the interior. Paint has never seen rain or the elements and is in excellent shape. It shines up nicely. Convertible top is new and opens and closes as original. There is a small sheet metal patch applied to the passenger side floor underneath. I've never tried to look under to see extent of damage, but I believe it to be minor. Interior: The interior is as good as exterior, very clean with good looking headline, interior panels, seats, etc.. There is a small crack in plastic dash near headlight switch or cigarette lighter (I forget which), probably from someone pushing/pulling too hard. I didn't even notice it when I purchased car so I consider it minor. Engine: Rebuilt motor with my guess of 10-50 miles on it. Starts, idles, and runs nicely. There is a lot of chrome on it. Tailpipes have started to show a little surface rust that should clean up. I would rather sell locally just due to comfort level. 1972 Volkswagen Superbeetle Convertible with only 33,000 miles. Has the original volkswagen motor in it. Runs great, drives great, interior is in immaculate condition. Convertible top is clean with no rips or tears. All electronics work, lights wipers, speedometer, etc. Tires have about 1000 miles on them. This beetle has been babied. Garaged kept during the summers and heated storage during the winters. If it wasn't nice enough, to take it out with the top down, it stayed in the garage. The only thing, not factory on this car, is the aftermarket CD player and A/C Unit. needs lil chrome trims to be put back in. but other than that it s 9/10 overall, absolutely NO RUST.
