Up for bid is a used Volkswagen Beetle Bug. It is a great car considering the age. It does run and has a valid VA Inspection. It has some minor surface rust and some minor dents and dings. It needs a new throw out bearing and radio. Over all it is in good condition (my opinion). Please look at the photos that are listed. If you would like more I can send them to you. For sale 1972 Super Beetle, Very clean, low miles (67146). The body is factory straight and appears to be factory original. Paint is in excellent condition looks like it could be original. The interior is very clean and shows no ware. The car has an upgraded steering wheel and shift knob. The radio is also an upgrade it is a Pioneer system complete with an amplifier and power subwoofer, there is also and XM module, note the XM is not hooked up at this time. The engine and transmission are in excellent condition the little car runs and drives very well. The engine compartment is very clean and looks very nice and original. This car has been well cared for. The tires and wheels are in very nice shape look good on the car. The wheels are upgrades and fit the car very nice. Note there is no spare tire and wheel with the car. Asking $9,400.00 or best cash offer. Note this car is sold AS IS there is no warranties. Note the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. This is an original 1975 Volkswagen Beetle with two owners. The vehicle has a manual shift transmission with a 1600cc engine featuring the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection system (first year for this in the Beetles). The first owner was Dr. Myron Saturski (hometown Doctor) from Newcomerstown, Ohio. This vehicle was used by the first owner’s wife to drive around town, was garaged kept, and did not see snow and salt. My mom purchased this vehicle from the first owner in 1995 with 28,162 miles. Since purchasing the vehicle we have stored it in a garage and only drive it on nice days around town. This car is mechanically sound with no known issues. I am not aware of any accidents for this vehicle. I am aware of NO restoration work done to this car. There are a few minor chips and scratches, and the seat stuffing/padding is coming out of the seat bottoms. We added a stereo in 1998 and installed a fabricated speaker box so that no cutting would be done to the interior. We also used existing holes in the dash for the stereo and the factory hole for the antenna. This vehicle does have aftermarket rims, tires, and shocks. The original rims and tires go to whoever purchases this vehicle. I tuned the vehicle up at 30K miles and replaced the battery and starter a few years ago. I have had no issues with this vehicle. I would encourage anyone to have this vehicle inspected before purchasing to confirm the condition. I have sold other vehicles on Ebay and take my reputation very seriously. I will be happy to take more pictures and send those to anyone interested. This is a must see vehicle, and I hope whoever the interested buyer is can take a look at this in person before buying. We are selling this vehicle to purchase something a little newer and faster!!

Better than VW ever made them Fully Restored - over 2 years in restoration taken down to nuts and bolts and rebuilt from the ground up. About 5K miles since restoration. The car is a unique Standard model not the typical North American Deluxe model. The standard had alot more exposed and painted metal in the interior than the Deluxe and with the right color combination the interior is quite striking. This car has been thoroughly (money no object) restored. No corners cut. Full pan off restoration with new floors welded in and seams all sealed. The full undercarriage was then coated with Por 15 and then bed lined. This Beetle will never rust. The entire body was stripped to bare metal inside and out and painted from scratch. No filler anywhere, all metal car. No permanent modifications have been made to the car. All accessories are easily removable if that is preffered. Thorough (QUALITY Butyl) sound deadening in the front storage area, under the carpet, behind the headliner, in the doors and in the rear parcel shelf/storage area. There is NO roofing material used as sound deadening in this car. The engine has 5K miles on it (crate 1600 Dual Port). There is a serpentine belt conversion, NOS German Bosch SVDA Distributor, fully rebuilt Pict 34-3 Solex carburettor as well as a stainless mesh oil filter in an expanded sump plate. All Brake lines, hoses and hydraulics were replaced, all drums-shoes-hardware are new, new steering box, new kingpins, new shocks, new clutch, new starter, new generator, new wiper motor/mechanism/arms, new new new I cannot possibly list everything - This is a new car All rubber components were replaced with German - window seals, door seals, trunk and hood seals, tires, etc... New steering wheel, all fittings in the interior are new, new carpet and matching trunk carpet. The seats, grab handles and headliner are LEATHER and were custom made for this car at an upholsterer. The visors were custom made in the right color. New seat foams. The door cards are From TMI and Vinyl. The match is perfect. Factory fitted 3 point seatbelts were replaced with new. Converted to 12 Volt Electronics and ALL wiring is new. Retrosound Radio is installed and it is the top of the line $450 model - Bluetooth compatible, USB in the glove box and connectors for expansion to add any audio equipment you like. Currently has 2 high end speakers in the rear shelf beneath the rear seats leading edge. Accessories include - Solid billet aluminium running boards with powder coated ribbing, mud guards, bamboo tray (Real and period), Swans neck mirrors out of the UK, Impossible to find Robri stone guards I had to get from German eBay to the tune of $600 (Genuine), 356 Headlamp guards out of the UK, Venetian blinds (period), roof and trunk racks are NOT the cheap EMPI units, they were made in California and I ordered them specifically with the red tint in the Marine Lacquer and a highly polished triple plated finish to set off the Anthracite paint, A full set of Flying cog Hubcaps that were over 1K alone for the set in fresh chrome and finally a small set of original Hella Turn signal indicators off of the earlier cars - Again NO MODIFICATION was necessary to install these items. They can be easily removed. Included new tool roll and the jack has been restored and is in it's correct location hidden by the spare. I cannot list everything done to the car - If a component could not be brought to new condition in restoration it was replaced with the highest quality component available not the cheapest. This is the car for someone who is looking for a new/old Beetle. This is a new Beetle with 5K miles on it. Over 50K spent - nothing was allowed to compromise the quality of the restoration including cost. This Beetle and the attention to detail will highly impress anyone. It now has a carbed motor and is no longer fuel injected , Miles are unknown but it starts right up - runs good - drives good - It is a great daily driver as is or solid car for a build with a lot done already , New full floorpans (body off) on both sides , New brake line from front to back , New Brake shoes all the way around , New rear wheel cylinders , New belt , New cap , rotor and points , Valves adjusted and new gaskets , Fresh oil change with new oil screen , Timing and carb just adjusted , Dualport motor with 34 pict 3 carb and svda distributor , 4 speed shifts smooth and tight , Adjustable air front end with new Monroe air shocks and small onboard air pump so you can raise and lower it at will , New front carpet and rear well area , The wheels were sanded down and clear coated and have a good set of tires on them , All glass is good , The doors and windows open and close with no issues , Turn signals don't work but all else does , No rear seat because it had a custom stereo in it , It is 40 years old so expect that it needs a few cosmetic items (seat covers but are not too bad , headliner has various rips here and there , running boards need replacing , paint color of your choice and such...) Thanks for checking out my 1960 VW Bug . It is a daily driver, very dependable in great shape for a 55 year old survivor. it has a 1972 1600cc engine and trans axel so it has syncro mesh in all forward gears. Dual Carbs , and it has been converted to a 12 volt system. Nice and tight feeling very clean body and interior .....It does need a paint job though... It looks great from 20 feet, but up close you see chips and scratches. no major issues , wipers, heater, lights all work with the exception of the original 6 volt radio...it would need a voltage reducer to wire it in. VW Beetle Pan off rebuild no rust, Green with Yellow two tone. 1641 engine less than 4000 miles, progressive carb. New 009 distributor, New coil, New Alternator, 1960 California style front fenders, Aluminum wheels Tries new last year. Bamboo tray under dash, Luggage rack on roof. This is a good running car no known problems. Started right up after winter storage.
