Struts, Shocks, Brakes Rotors, Bushings, A arms, AC clutch, Alternator, Filters, Belts, Pulleys, Fluids etc). We did not intend to sell the car and spent as much as our asking price in these replacement parts to keep this car in great running condition.The engine and clutch was replaced at 150k I would really like to see someone who will take care of it own it. All new carpet throughout All new brake system: shoes, rotors, wheel cylinders and brake master cylinderPaint in excellent shape marina blue this is the original color 1776 engine: 90.5 x 69 Mahle piston Kit, 69 mm cw crank shaft, 110 Eagle Cam, cam gear set made in USA, Hp 042 VW heads 40 x 35.5 valves, Empi HPMX 3.0 version dual carbs, this version of carbs are awesome!! 009 distributor, full Petronix electric ignition system, new Empi muffler, new transmission, new CV axles. Whole car all new and restored with around 8,000 miles on new engine car is like new! Runs very good and smooth, cruise 3rd or 4th gear @ 20 mph w/ no kick back. Great Project for a VW enthusiast. Project started several years ago by family member. Has almost $5500 in new parts, body work is largely done and chassis (pan) is complete with 5 lug wheels, narrowed in front, powder coated and newly rebuilt transaxle. 95% of parts included, Major items not included are the windshield and a gas tank. Lots of engine parts including a rebuildable engine and an extra block with parts, new canvas sun roof with opening on the roof done, new running boards, new VDO gage set included, body almost ready to paint too. Details: Pan: - new front beam is narrowed (2.5 inches?) with adjusters in it to lower the car (narrowed beam brings the tire back underneath the crown of the fender to eliminate the tire rubbing on the fender edge when dropped) - front cross drilled disc breaks- line locks installed on front breaks (solenoid installed in the front break system to lock the pressure for burnouts)- caster shims in the front end (corrects caster of front end when it is lowered)- all new bushings- 2 3/8" aluminum hard fuel lines for a fuel injection system- new components for rear drums- new master cylinder- pan and all components powder coated gloss black- Porsche 5 bolts lug pattern with polished aluminum Porsche replica wheels 15x6 size - assembled by Competition EngineeringTransmission:- full rebuild with 0 miles on it by Arizona Transaxle- new syncros and shifting forks- heavy duty super-beetle differential side cover (the super-beetle diff cover has extra webbing to eliminate flexing under high load, an OEM part for better fit vs some aftermarket stuff)- supper differential (4 spider gears)- stock 1st through 4th gear ratios with a 3.88 ring and pinion (freeway flier setup. the stock R&P is 4.12. a 3.88 would drop RPM in 4th by about 500 RPM)Body:- 69' body modified with 66' and earlier hood and front apron with earlier front bumper brackets welded in- 66' and earlier OEM rear apron- 66' and earlier front OEM fenders straightened by a body shop- pop-out rear side windows- 63' sliding rag top graphed in by Deano's body shop We will pack in pod for shipment. Okay guys here we go 2001 standard transmission Beetle, was my daughter's college car. A couple years back I put in a rebuilt motor, and planned on restoring the car to showroom condition and adding extra accessories custom wheels etc. I love this car drives like a Porsche, great mileage 33 to 35 mpg. I drove it daily for about a year then I got sick and couldn't drive. My wife could not drive a stick so the car has sat for awhile, I did start and take it around the block once a month or so. Just bought a new battery, then the other day went to start and it won't, turns over just fine, may be old gas fuel line whatever, still not to well so just breaks my heart but need to sell it, and can't work on it. Body is good, all the electronics, doors, windows, radio, moon-roof remote locks and alarm work. Interior will need some cosmetics good cleaning and a drivers side plastic handle. Tires are shot, it is an old car so I don't need to hear all the flaws or low-ball offers. Think I listed all I know, and I am selling as is as pictured no warranty. Don't need to sell it but it is a shame just sitting. A little work and it will make someone a great daily driver.

Not painted on so you can remove them if you wish. Well taken care of. Easily worth over $12,000!All Lights work and blinkers work, Roof Scoop and BF Goodrich Monster tires and Matching Gloss black Wheels! Lifted rear with camber. Larger rear tires. Beautiful custom Baja Bug! Well maintained and taken care of. Tons of upgrades and ready to drive on long trips or driven daily. But wait! There's more!!!New: - 4 Speed Transmission- Black Interior- Shocks all the way around (Bilstiens in the rear and YBGs in the front)- Ignition coil- Clutch- High pressure oil pump- Master brake cylinder - Steering box- Tie rod(with new king pins, bushings ect.)- Alternator (conversion from generator to alternator)- Front brakes pads and drum(with brake cylinders)- Lift in the back with camber- Rear disc brakes Things to consider:Great glass and body. Looks nearly brand new. Good paint. $2500 worth of tires and wheels alone. All the lights work. No rust. Ignition, starter and alternator work great. Starts up right away. Ready for long trips or daily driving. No major work needed at all. Comes with a spare set of tires. Interior is in great condition. Recently reupholstered seats and new carpet. Dash looks amazing was kept in original condition except the radio and shows no damage. It has a good sound system as well with connection for iPhone or iPod player. Roll bar on the inside. Fiberglass hood and fenders (true Baja style). Side view mirrors and rear view mirror are perfect. The lights all around the vehicle are in perfect condition. The rear is lifted with new disc brakes and a camber lift. My objective observations of the vehicle issues: This vehicle looks like it's new but is over 50 years old. Wow! As with any older cars, they look amazing but also have little things to keep you busy. All things on this vehicle are easy and cheap to fix. This would be good for a beginner or an expert or a collector. She's ready to be driven home today. The doors are in great visible condition. The interior panels are amazing. You will need to work on the opening mechanism for both but it does not affect operation of the car. The doors open but have some minor issues as the driver door opens from the outside but the interior latch sticks at times. The passenger door opens from the inside. The handles all look very good and were well maintained it's just something with the interior mechanism. Just internal corrections. The driver window tends to fall off the track. Not a big deal overall but something to tinker with when you have time. No A/C or Heater Engine is good and sounds amazing. Has a slight drip but nothing unusual for a car this age. Tranny shifts great and clutch is brand new. Wipers are in visibly good condition but are not operating. This vehicle was well taken care of. Clean title and current reg through 10/17. The upgrades alone were over $5,000 plus the $2,500 for wheels and tires and the spare set.
