1997 was the second year for the WS6 option Of the 30754 Firebirds built in 97 this is one of 2827 This is a original 97 WS6, not restored, not a clone and has not been modified. I purchased the car in 2000 with 9482 miles.The original owner traded it in at a local Chevy dealer for a 2000 Corvette. The car has always been garage kept and only saw rain a few times since I have owned.Summer driver only Less then 500 miles driven per year over the last 10 years. The car is spotless inside and out, no stains in the carpets, no smoke smell inside. There are no dents, digs or paint flaws,It does have 3 or 4 very small stone chips in the front nose. The chrome on all four wheels is perfect and there is no corrosion on the inside of the rims, one rim has a small mark about the size a pencil eraser Royal Purple Synthetic 10-30 oil at all changes It as a new Delco battery as of January,The tires have good tread but are getting aged, I would suggest the new owner replace. 1981 Pontiac Trans Am, WS6, T-tops, Rare 305 4 speed manual, AC, 53,xxx original miles, fully loaded with the exception of cruise control. Car is in excellent condition throughout. Original drivetrain. (Yes it is an original 305, the only way you could get a 4 speed manual transmission in 1981 was to get the 305) Completely NEW suspension from PTFB (springs, shocks, tubular control arms, body bushings, subframe connectors, sway bars, etc.) (original control arms and sway bars come with the car) NEW braking system (including calipers, pads, rotors, stop flex soft lines and rear hard line) Heater Core has been replaced along with hoses (for those of you who are not familiar, on a car with A/C, this is NOT an easy job and a little expensive if you cannot do it yourself) Full tune-up (plugs, wires, belts, etc., new fuel pump) ALL fluids changed NEW carb and distributor. Cooling system flushed with new hoses and new thermostat. Runs excellent with no issues. Underneath is clean and rust free, car was rustproofed when purchased, have the paper on it. Paint is in great condition for a 36 year old car. Looks great. Had a few chips and scratches touched up here and there. Interior is near mint condition. NEW carpet along with sound deadening material installed. Aftermarket radio with new speakers and amp. (original radio is included). Car has brand new 17" Year One snowflake rims with Nitto 555 tires. (original turbo style gold wheels with new BF Goodrich radial TA's included). NEW custom 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, sounds great.Two original build sheets. Car is one of 3,225 made. I was going to do a full pro-touring/resto-mod conversion but have chosen to go a different route with another project car. Car runs and drives great, doesn't need anything. T-tops do not leak and the seals are in excellent condition. The door seals are new. Have original shifter knob as well as a period correct Hurst T-Handle... Serious inquiries only, please. No low-ball offers. I will consider reasonable offers only. Take a look at comparable cars and their condition and you'll find this is a pretty fair deal considering what has been done to the car. It took me a while to find this one and still had to address the fuel system, brakes and suspension.
