https://youtu.be/2XQU2jXrIO4 https://youtu.be/uQh56U3zG3c https://youtu.be/gRGNyyB3LYYhttps://youtu.be/ZK77A0mDtl8 Lumpy the LeMans is a 1972 Pro Street Pontiac GTO Clone. Tubbed and heavily modified. ODO says 90,000 which is not the original cluster, and actual amounts on the restored frame/body and swapped engine are unknown and certainly less, both under 10,000 miles. Car retains the original clutch petal but has been changed to a TH-400 (3spd) auto with a shift kit. Engine is a 1966 GTO 389 bored to approx 405 CI. Car has not had a dyno or been raced recently. It generates a modest amount of power (my guess around 400 HP). Car is no slouch but the build is currently not centered around a high trap speed. For those looking to increase power in the future the drivetrain is ready to handle up to 700 HP without issue. For me, it has not been about racing but about clubs, cruising, and shows. A future move has me putting the car up for sale, I would happily sell the car to a friend, it runs wonderfully. The frame is straight and the car can be floored in a straight line without ever having to touch the wheel. Some of the details of the engine include Comp parts – rockers, hydraulic flat tappet cams, cam lift and duration is fairly aggressive with a healthy lope (hence the name Lumpy for the idle). 670 heads, Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb with manual choke, Torker II intake manifold. Engine runs very nicely and is happiest a WOT. Transmission is TH-400, 3 Spd, rollerized with numerous upgrades to the clutch packs. 3000 K stall converter for enthusiastic launches but still drives well down the freeway. It shifts perfectly and is prepped to take on more power in the future. The drive shaft is from a retired race car. Rear end is 3:90, GM 12 bold, C-clips are eliminated. Disc brakes in front, Drum in rear, with an additional vacuum pump as the car makes very little vacuum at idle. Lowered suspension in front, possibly from a Cadillac, Rear is 4-link with drag coil-overs. Car rides soft, with the expected sounds of a 4-link. Rear struts were recently replaced. The car has a brake line lock, an auxiliary electric fan in the event of idling in traffic on a hot day but the car has no overheating issues and starts when hot without complaint. New exhaust with H-pipe, electric cutouts and two resonators and two mufflers. The exhaust note is lovely with cutouts closed and with them open sounds amazing. I would describe the paint, although an awesome color as a "10 footer" or better, with several cracks and dings in the front end, it is a driven car but the body needs no work. It had new weather stripping, all windows and panels are in great shape with no rust! No A/C, battery was relocated to trunk, all gauges and articles work inside. The interior is near perfect, and retains much of the original look of the GTO. 4-Link back half w/wishbone; 389 with mildly ported 670 Heads, forged internals, hydraulic cam; Mickey 29x18.00 tires on 15x14 Torque Thrusts; Custom TH400 rollerized with numerous upgrades; Challenger Drag Pack seats, full dash, 8 point cage.... Contact me for a more inclusive list of parts and info.

This is a completely original car that was garages since s 1986 and not moved until I purchased it from the original owner. 65125 original miles with complete history of service paperwork to prove. This car is cherry! It runs but I have not driven it. New radiator, master cylinder and water pump. This is a collectors dream or someone that wants to turn it into a hot rod. 350 2 Barrel motor. Not one crack in the dash and everything works like it did 30 years ago. The original owner babied this car. Serious inquiries only. All serious offers will be considered.

Unbelievable find. Purchased from the original owner 12 years ago. Original open title and protecto plate. 326 2 bbl, power glide, PS, PB, clock, console/floor shift, AM radio, AC (blows cold with R12), wire wheel spinner caps. The car is a virtually rust free Missouri car. The car was painted years ago with enamel (1980s). Not a show quality job but overall presentable. Original paint in the door jambs and trunk. Perfect trunk floor, floor pans, lower quarters, doors, fenders, no rust, no patches. Long scratch on lower RH rear quarter and some nicks in paint. Excellent original chrome and bumpers. Nice original weather stripping. Perfect original glass. Mint vinyl top with perfect moldings. The interior is like new and all original. The carpet is original and shows very little wear. No split seams on the seats. The gray slate headliner is perfect too. Under the hood is untouched. All original fasteners, decals, paint, spring ring battery cables, etc. It even has the original dealer emblem on the trunk! The car has been a great resource for many concourse restorations over the years. This car has always been one of my "keepers" but the time has come to let some one else enjoy this time capsule. This car is for the true collector and deserves to be persevered. Probably one of the last unmolested LeMans left! The car is located in Morris, IL .Please only serious inquires. Marvin 815 521 9566

When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures. Feel free to call our Sales Hotline at (603) 818-8511 for a "walk around" verbal description of each vehicle we have in our warehouse. Also, please keep in mind that we specialize in cars older than 25 model years and we do our absolute best to represent these cars in a direct, honest, and fair manner with over 100 pictures for each car along with a video to let you see the car move and hear the car run. Our written ads reflect both the fact that we really love these cars and feel that we are saving a part of America. We do our best to describe some of the features that you might find important. As a buyer of a car that is older than 25 model years, unless the car is represented as perfect (which our cars are not), you need to be aware that there are many smaller things that may or may not work, or may work one day and not the next, in these cars. This is due to the fact that they are over 25 years old. When bidding on a car please keep this in mind. They may have small dings, small scratches, and minor imperfections. The interior may also be worn due to corresponding miles on vehicle. This 1972 Pontiac Luxury Lemans is the car for you if you have a passion for originality. This car is NOT a barn find nor has it been restored. It is an extremely well cared for car which has been garage kept its entire life. It is totally original with the exception of Vintage Air Condition being added. It is in beautiful condition inside and out. Seats, dash carpet, head-liner all in mint condition. I purchased this car from the 84 year old ORIGINAL OWNER September 2008 with 51,832 documented miles on it at that time. It now has 55,031 miles on it. Due to the paint fading somewhat when I purchased it I had it repainted by a professional with over 40 years’ experience. There is NO BONDO and NO RUST anywhere. Painter is still in business and will confirm this. You are welcome to do an in-depth inspection, in fact I encourage it. This beauty runs and drives like new, I know because I had a new one in 1972. Tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. Everything on the car works, even the seat belt buzzer. The only wear you will find is about one inch on the bead on drivers side where you slide in and out. Not split or torn. Extra headlights, tune-up kits, and oil filters from original owner go with car. I am selling due to unexpected health conditions and not being able to enjoy the car as much as I would like. The sales price is $23,500 with very little room for negotiation. If you are a serious buyer, contact me for any other information you may want. Don't waste your time if you are a scammer.

For sale is this beautiful, numbers matching, PHS documented, dependable, well-handling, high-performance 1972 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible. This car is not a re-imagined hot rod, but a thoughtfully restored classic, keeping all major components original, but massaging each system to make this car safer, more dependable, stronger, smoother, and higher performance than it ever could have been when it rolled off the assembly line in Michigan in April, 1972. It is one of the very last A-Body cars ever built by GM, so I felt I owed it to its history to keep the car as it was intended, but utilize today’s technology to make it better. As such, instead of simply dropping in a crate engine, I chose to take the original 45-year old 350, numbers matching engine, and have it balanced, blueprinted, bored, stroked, ported and polished to 409 cubic inches using only the best forged crank, pistons and rods. The heads were ported and polished, with roller rockers and stronger valves and springs installed. Even the original intake manifold was port-matched to the original heads to maximize air flow. Yes, a crate engine would have been half the price, but the originality of this car would have been lost. To bring the power plant into the 21st century for reliability, performance and fuel efficiency, the updated motor is fitted with electronic ignition, cold-air induction (with no cutting of the body) and electronic fuel injection (the Rochester 4-barrel comes with the car for you purists). In the same vein, the original 4-speed transmission with Hurst 4-speed shifter remains, but the components of the transmission were all replaced with heavy-duty parts. Same for the rear end differential, which now houses an Auburn carrier and Yukon 3.31 gears. For safety, the car now has Wilwood power disc brakes all around and chromed-15-inch Pontiac wheels (the original 14-inch wheels are not only getting harder to find tires for, they would not accommodate the large disc brakes desired to slow down the all new power of this car). Similarly, for handling and a smooth ride, the suspension was replaced front and rear with Hotchkis equipment, including upper and lower control arms front and rear, anti-sway bars front and rear and Hotchkis-tuned Fox shocks all around. The results are a car that starts, runs, stops and rides like no other ’72 Pontiac. Again, however, all the major components remain original. The same thought process went into the body and interior of the car. The entire rust-free car was stripped and painted with the original Pontiac Code 65 Sundance Orange color (as identified on the VIN) and original black, bucket seat and console interior. However, to give the car 21st century looks, it was fitted with a front and rear spoiler (the front spoiler aids with airflow into the cold-air induction and the rear “duck-tail” is unique to only the 1972 model Lemans and no other and helps push the rear down at high speed), matte black rally stripes (reduces sun glare from the hood) and matching orange piping of the black vinyl interior (the only flaw in the car is a 2” piece of orange piping I inadvertently tore on the side of the driver’s seat). Again, the major components (the exterior and interior colors) remain original. They have simply been “enhanced.” Even the 800-Watt Rockford Fosgate stereo does not detract from the originality of this car as the head unit is from Retrosound to match the chrome style of the dash. The only two visible speakers are on the rear convertible ram covers on the sides of the backseat. The subwoofer and amplifiers are in the trunk and the Sirius satellite unit is hidden in the glove box. There are hundreds of pages of receipts which go with the car, but I included here only the $10k receipt for the engine work so as to show you the quality I demanded for this car. The paint job was another $10k. Also included are original Pontiac brochures and maintenance booklet. Feel free to ask any questions. No trades - I am selling to come up with more down-payment for a home. Your sailboat or stamp collection won't satisfy the mortgagor. Thank you,

1977 PONTIAC CAN AM For Sale To Good Home: An incredibly rare piece of American automotive history: A great running 1977 Pontiac Can Am with 77,100 original miles on the Pontiac 6.6L 400 and Turbo 400 transmission! Less than 1,400 were ever produced and it is estimated that less than 300 remain in existence today and no one knows how many of those even still run! I’m a big believer in offering buyers as much information as possible prior to making a purchase decision. I’ve been an active ebay user for 15 years and have 100% positive feedback. I also have a separate business ebay account where I am a Top Rated Powr Seller. So with that said, here is a lengthy description, lots of photos, and at the bottom there are links to a couple videos of the car as well! The vehicle is being sold as-is and is available for inspection in Tempe, Arizona prior to purchase. A $500 NONREFUNDABLE deposit is due via PayPal within 24hrs of auction end, remaining funds due within 7 days by cash, wire transfer, or cashier's check (must be issued in my presence or must have cleared into my account) or cleared personal check. Vehicle can be shipped anywhere with prepayment and with the buyer covering all shipping costs. This vehicle is also for sale on other sites and locally so this listing may be ended at any time prior to having a bid on the auction. NO RESERVE Vehicle History This is basically a one-owner car: The original owner purchased the vehicle new in Great Falls, Montana in 1977 where he was serving in the US Air Force at Malstrom AFB (car still has a department of defense access sticker on the front bumper used to get onto base), from there the original owner moved to Kentucky, and then finally to Arizona where the vehicle has resided for the past 3 years. This car was used mostly as a toy and only driven occasionally throughout the decades, it has 77,100 original miles! At some point the car was rear-ended and the original owner had to replace the trunk and spoiler. He got the spoiler from a donor Can Am but I believe the trunk came from a regular Le Mans. Wanting to get the most out of the Pontiac 400, the original owner did some performance upgrades. The original W72 6X heads were replaced with RAM AIR III heads from a 68 GTO, the rear end gears were changed to 3.73 and he also added headers and dual exhaust system. In 2012 the now elderly original owner moved from Kentucky to Arizona and then transferred the title to his son who had grown up with the vehicle and had a deep connection to it. The son had some general maintenance done on the vehicle and used it very sparingly for the next 3 years. He only put around 250 miles on the car – mostly driving to and from local car shows. The vehicle was kept covered for the majority of its life so there is very little rust. This is a great example of an ultra-rare car! The car was ordered from Pontiac with the following extra options: • Saf-T Track Rear Axle • GR70 x 15 White Letter Tires • Custom Sport Steering Wheel • Soft Ray Glass, All Windows • Front Seat Console Condition Excellent mechanical condition! It runs fantastically well and is a great ride, very smooth. The interior is beautiful, 8.5/10. The seats have been reupholstered and the original firethorn red trim is in great condition. The body is straight with the exception of 2 main dents and is free of rust except for a few small spots as highlighted in the you tube video. I rate the paint as Fair with fading, scratches, touch up paint, and small dents throughout. This car is a Driver and I would have no hesitation driving this car on a long road trip. If someone wanted to turn this into a great show car then 95% of the work needed would just be having a body shop prep the surface and apply paint and decals. The performance upgrades really make a big difference when compared to most Can Ams: 6.7 second 0-60 time! The Good • Runs Great, engine and transmission need nothing. • 77,100 Original Miles • Clean Title • Numbers Matching Car – the Engine and Transmission have never been out of this car (vin stamping on engine block is shown in a photo) • One Owner Vehicle for 35 years • Interior is beautiful, original Firethorn/White combo. • Seats were reupholstered • Headliner is in great condition, not sagging, not ripped • RAM Air III heads from 68 GTO • Headers Installed • Dual Exhaust with two catalytic converters, wide pipes, and quad exhaust tips. • Rear gears changed to 3.73 (idles at 700 RPM, cruises at 3500 RPM @ 75mph) • Brand New cooling system (October 2015): 3 core high performance aluminum radiator, water pump, divider plate (properly spaced before installation), thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses, and coolant. Car runs perfectly at 195-200 degrees just like it should, even while sitting at idle or hauling down the freeway at 75mph. • Tune Up performed right before the move from KY to AZ (Summer 2012). New plugs, wires, and Pinon Seal & Gear Oil. Only 500 miles on these components. • Original wheels and chrome wheel trim • New Tires, $700 installed 05/12/12 by Discount Tire. I have the certificates in hand for their lifetime repair/replacement plan. BFG Radials 255/60R15 – Only 500 miles on these tires, they are like brand new! • Original Owner’s Manual, Maintenance Schedule Logbook, Warranty Card and other documentation included. The carpet has never been taken out of the car so if you want the original build sheet it should still be under there. All available receipts, warranties, etc. will be included with the sale. • New Header Gasket and Parking Brake work done by Vintage Auto Repair - Phoenix, AZ (November 2015) • New hood mounted Tachometer. The original owner added a hood tach to replicate the look of some 60s GTOS/Judges. This unit was not working when I purchased the car in June 2015 so a new one was just installed last week. It looks so sharp and really adds to the personality of the car. • New Air intake hose • New Fuel Pump (sometime between 2012-2015, within past 500 miles) • New Battery (August 2014) • New Power Steering Pump and Fluid (December 2015) • Oil Change (10W30) & Filter (November 2015) • Recent Shocks (somewhere between 500-2,000 miles ago) • Rochester 800CFM Quadrajet Carburetor – recent tune up in 2012. • Original Jack and Donut Spare Tire in trunk (I'm not sure if the donut is original, I thought it was but was just told by an interested buyer that these came with an inflatable spare tire and air cannister and not donuts) • Rust – This car is almost totally rust free. It has a level of surface rust/patina on any exposed metal but no holes or anything rusting through. See the undercarriage photos for the condition of the floor pans, they are like brand new, zero rust. There are 2 main rust spots worth mentioning and they are highlighted in the you tube video. • I just did a test last week and got 19 miles per gallon with a 60/40 mix of highway/city driving using 91 octane. • Comes with the original 6X heads which are a $400 value on their own (2 rocker arms are missing but those are like $2 each). I am also happy to include all of the parts that I recently replaced: original hood tach, timing cover, water pump, radiator, etc. • Carpet is in very good shape for being 40 years old! Only holes are located by driver’s left foot. • Interior buttons and levers work: lights, wipers, indicators, AM radio, cigarette lighter, glove box light, door lights, vent controls, heater, blower (No A/C – was not ordered from Pontiac by original owner), trip reset on odometer, headlight dimmer/brights, lights behind instruments, interior light dimmer, dome light. • New Seatbelt retainers • Trunk has cloth floor mat • Has an engine block heater installed from its time in Montana and those cold winter nights. This hasn't been used in a long time and I don't know if it still works. • For some performance data, I ran a single 0-60 pass down the street yesterday and got 6.7 seconds! I think that is really respectable acceleration given that this car came stock from the factory with a reported 200HP, so the upgraded heads, headers, and dual exhaust definitely have an impact. I think this time can be still be improved upon with some practice and carb adjustments. The Bad • Paint – Fair Condition. It is showing its age with chips, scratches, and small dents throughout. Replacement decals are still available from Phoenix Graphics. • Door and Trunk Weatherstripping – dry rotted, cracking, poor condition. • Dents – 2 main dents near underside of car. One behind driver’s side front tire and the other is right in front of the bumper on the driver’s side. Also, lots of dime sized or smaller dents throughout. • Rust – 2 main rust spots are behind the rear wheels – see video for more detail. • Louver seals – looks like they need some sealant (contact me for a link to an online photo album that has 60+ photos of the car because I have a clear photo of this there) • Speedometer – lags / not accurate because of rear gear change • Clock does not work, not sure if it has a bad fuse or if there is some other way to turn it on/off? • Fuel Gauge – The scale is skewed so when you fill up the needle goes past F and as a result, empty is actually somewhere between the halfway line and E. I just fill up when I’m at ½ a tank to be safe. • Washer Fluid Pump does not work • Dash has crack on top side, easily covered if you get a dash mat. • EGR, choke adjustment, and some other emissions stuff were removed from the Carb when the heads and headers where installed. Many people believed that these things were robbing horsepower when they were first introduced and wanted them gone. I have a shoebox with a lot of these original parts that will be included in the sale. • Coolant reservoir has cracks that have been repaired with fiberglass resin and adhesive caulking. It does not leak and the fix is not easily visible because it is on the back side of the tank. • Rear seat upholstery has a seam that is coming apart and two sun stains, see you tube video. • Exhaust – from the catalytic converters back to the rear tailpipes, the exhaust pipes are very rusted. See underbelly photos. If I was going to keep the car I would remove the catalytic converters since emissions aren’t required in AZ for classic car insurance and just replace the exhaust pipes to the back. Please feel free to email me with questions and I am happy to provide my phone number as well.
