I am selling my 1977 Trans Am . This is a pretty solid car. I have stored it in my shop since I have owned it. It does not need much rust repair. A little floor pan patching, and under the rear glass at the bottom. And the outside patina! The car was taken out of service in 1988. It is a California car. This car had a lot of money spent on it in the 80's. It has a shifter with a separate gate for racing. The interior is decent in the car for its age. The 455 would not turn over when I got it. I pulled it and took the heads off and the oil pan. It was just seized from sitting too long. The bore is very standard. I am not sure if it would need to be bored or not. I did not take the short block apart. I just wanted to be sure there was not a catastrophic failure. The engine is good to rebuild. I am throwing in the other parts I got for the build. The honeycomb wheels, a turbo 400 that is rebuilt, some 4x heads to put it at 9 -9.5 to 1 compression, an aluminum intake. I am also throwing in a 3.73 10 bolt posi rear end. The car is 99% there. I will give it a shot to sell on Ebay . If it does not sell keep watching , it may be back about February or March. I purchased this car from Richard Ellington, father of Shawn (Murder Nova) off of Street Outlaws. A super nice guy. I have too many projects so a couple of them must go so I can finish my 69 Camaro. I will lower the price if it does not sell. This is a 21 day listing so keep watching! Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.A $1000 immediate non-refundable deposit required when you hit buy it now. The rest of the payment is due within a week. Once the car is paid for, it can stay at my shop for 60 days if you need time to pick it up. I have a clear Oklahoma title in my name. Call with any questions, 405-550-9505.

1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM WS6 Price: $13,000 OBO Mileage: 56,000 Previous Owners: 1 This is an extremely nice, well cared for time capsule. This car has been garage kept and is a true survivor. Everything on the car works. You will not be disappointed. There are less expensive Firebirds out, but this one needs nothing. The interior is immaculate with very minimal wear on the seats and no cracks in the dash or door panels. This is not a T-top so no worries about leaks and this improves the structural integrity of the car. The stereo system has been upgraded to an Alpine System with all new speakers and head unit. The exterior is also amazing with no door dings and very minimal rock chips on the front nose piece. The car has not been hailed on or repainted. Mechanically, the car is completely stock. There have been no modifications to the drive train of the car. Please call or text me at (580) 231-9772 before 10 p.m. CST. If I don't answer, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I can. The car is located in Drummond, OK but I could help deliver if needed. I will only accept cash or a certified cashier's check from a local bank. This listing is cross posted and can be sold without notice. It was not well known at the time, but in 1989, Pontiac produced the quickest[9] and fastest[10] American production car. The "Excitement Division" was also asked to provide a car to pace the 73rd running of the Indianapolis 500; sadly, it would be the final time a Pontiac would ever receive that honor. The Trans Am model was now 20 years old, and it was time for another anniversary edition, with this special 20th Anniversary Trans Am to be based on the existing Trans Am GTA. Through a unique partnership between Pontiac and an engineering firm called Prototype Automotive Services (PAS), the Trans Am GTA was equipped with a more powerful version of the turbocharged Buick 3.8L V6, originally developed for the Buick Regal Grand National, and the Turbo Trans Am (TTA) became the vehicle Pontiac supplied to pace the Indianapolis 500. Ultimately, 1,555 TTA replicas, rated at 250 hp, were produced for sale, five of those being test cars. But after Car and Driver magazine tested the car, logging a 0–60 mph run in 4.6 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile in 13.4 seconds at 101 mph, they called the 250 hp rating "exceedingly modest," estimating the actual output to be "closer to 300 hp." They also subsequently reported that it was the "quickest 0–60 sprinter available in any US production-car showroom – at any price."[9] The Car and Driver evaluation produced the best acceleration performance of any main stream publication to test a regular TTA press car from the Pontiac fleet, partly because Car and Driver realized that the turbo boost must be "preloaded" to get maximum performance figures. But short-distance sprinting was not all this car could do well. Early in 1989, Motor Trend ran their top speed test article "Flat-out Fastest American Cars II-the Sequel." During this test, the TTA did 162 mph, and was the fastest production car evaluated in the test. However, Motor Trend declared the winner to be a 1989Corvette ZR-1, which went much faster, but was not a production car (it was a prototype that Chevrolet intended to release for production in 1989, but did not come out until 1990).[11] So by a slight technicality, the TTA could be called the flat-out quickest (0–60 4.6 sec.) and fastest (162 mph) American production car in 1989. It is interesting to note that the only constraint on the top speed of 162 mph was that the TTA was being limited by the engine redline and automatic transmission (with which all TTA's were equipped). When PAS installed a ZF 6-speed manual transmission into one of the cars, they were able to reach 181 mph.[12] Perhaps more importantly than the performance tests provided by the industry magazines was the fact that these cars were capable of much faster acceleration times – with minimal modifications. In fact, with $300 in new parts installed, 12.5-second quarter-mile runs were achievable – without manually shifting gears or the need to trailer the vehicle to the track! Because of this, the TTA has gained a cult following among amateur racing enthusiasts. Pontiac sub-contracted the job of engineering the TTA engine modifications to PAS. The narrow engine bay of the Trans Am required the use of different cylinder heads, which happened to have better flow characteristics than the old Buick heads. Special stainless steel headers were made specifically for the project as well. The heads, headers, along with more refined tuning of the boost and fuel curves, all added up to a more powerful package than the older Buicks. PAS was also in charge of testing and assembling the engines. Most TTA's came with T-tops and leather interior, but there were also hardtops and cloth-interior cars. And every TTA had an automatic transmission – the TH200-4R, equipped with overdrive and a torque converter clutch. The three actual pace cars were randomly selected from the production run, and sent to Indianapolis to pace the race. Thus, the pace car replicas were closer to the actual pace cars than any replica previously offered; the only difference between the replicas and the three actual pace cars was the addition of strobe lights and safety equipment to the latter. In addition, the TTA was relatively economical to drive; it returned 24 mpg on the highway, while the only cars (besides the Lotus Esprit Turbo SE) that could approach its performance at the time (Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc.) were far more costly, and providing only around 10 to 12 mpg. As has been proven to be the case in subsequent years, relying on a small engine for cruising, and a turbocharger for power, provides an exciting driving experience while returning impressive fuel mileage. The rarest 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams are the hardtops and convertibles. Only 40 hardtops were made. Only three convertible TTA's were built by ASC,[13][14] one of which was bought by the president of PAS, with the other two falling into private hands. Only two are generally known to exist, however, as the ASC order log shows records for only two TTA convertibles.[15] The five test TTA's, because they were for pre-production use, were pulled off of the assembly line without regard to color, and therefore were not necessarily white. At least two of these test cars were sold to private individuals, so there are at least two extremely rare, non-white, factory TTA's in existence; in fact, one is known to be red. Y84 WS6 original Survivor Only 59,000 Miles Documented History This is one of the most desirable and collectible Trans Am built, the 1979 Special Edition Y84 WS6. This is an original survivor. You can restore them over and over but they are only original once! The original starlight black paint shines very very well for a 35 year old car! It's not perfect but it was not perfect from the factory. One look at the Deluxe Hobnail interior tells you this car lead a pampered life! The gold and special Edition dash is in excellent shape. The engine bay looks very original in appearance except for the headers that someone has put on it's past. The original exhaust manifolds come with the car. The car was shipped from the factory to Canada thus the gauges and mileage are in kilometers. The car was in a collection in Canada for tens of years. This car comes equipped with the WS6 option. Is this car perfect! No! Does the car run strong! Yes! Does the car drive straight and smooth! Yes! I drive the car very little and have decided to sell it. If you are looking for an original Y84 Special Edition with low miles and unrestored survivor this is it.

Also has brand new racing wheels and new Hancook tires as the back tires are 12" wide makes the car look even more amazing..NEW flow master exhaust sounds great new 650 edlebrok carb with new aluminum edlebrok intake as well the A/C has been serviced and changed to the new system. New brakes, lines and calipers. All of this being new all with less than 300 miles on the new drive train motor is fully broken in and adjusted out the ac blows cold and the heater blows hot. the top has been replaced the interior has been spiced up a bit very nice! Power windows, locks and mirror. The top has been redone and the interior has been redone and spiced up it is amazing! This car runs great and is such a fun car to drive it is a major head turner and i bet your neighbor dont have one of these! Below is a better understanding of what these cars are all about and why and how these cars came into play. Auto Forms was a company based out of Elkhart. Indiana that performed convertible conversions on Firebirds. It is believed the conversions began in 1983 and were performed through early 1986 with just over 300 converted total for all 4 years. We have recently discovered that Autoform was sanctioned by GM and as such did conversions on both Firebirds and Camaros. The conversions were performed at two different facilities: one in Elkhart. Indiana and the other in Shawnee. Oklahoma. The conversion took about two weeks and cost an estimated $5500. Auto Forms worked directly with participating Pontiac dealers and did not accept customers off the street. New cars were drop shipped to one of the facilities and then delivered to the dealer for delivery to the customer. Year by year production is also not known but its believed that about 300 total cars were built between 1983 and 1986 including both Firebirds and Camaros and Trans Ams. The conversion used an extended rear decklid that extended through the rear seating area to the front seats. The decklid was formed with two bullet shaped bulges that sat immediately behind each seat that provided both support for the head rest but also served to enhance the euro style race car look. The decklid was comprised of a 2-layer fiberglass laminate and opened up and back from the front so the top could be retracted for stowage. The rear portion of the decklid functioned as a trunk lid swinging open an external chromed hinges support by the struts re-used from the original glass hatch. The design maintained the size and space of the original trunk. The top itself was an unusual design. The base piece was also a 2-layer fiberglass laminate which was less prone to warping than other single layer designs of the time. The hardtop roof was reinforced with heavy gauge steel brackets for extra support. For visual appeal the outer portion of the roof was covered with a convertible top material. Using a but of ingenuity the Autoform engineers used the upholstery from the removed back seat to create a headliner for the top. The rear window in the top was plastic. Interestingly. and unlike most convertible systems we are all familiar with. this design incorporated no automatic mechanism for raising and lowering the top. Its all done by hand. The hardtop swings up and down on a spring loaded steel arm that is part of a steel reinforcement cage that's installed vertically in the car behind the seats. The cage provided the necessary rigidity for the rest of the car that was lost when the top was removed. The cage welds into the vehicle at the door pillars and floor pan and is covered by a neat fiberglass cap. To further improve structural integrity sub-frame connectors were welded in and an X-member was added that bolted to the lift pads under the car. Bolting. rather than welding. it in allowed for transmission or exhaust work to be performed. After being lowered the top was stowed down inside a plastic tub installed in the rear seat area. The tub included access holes so you could get to the rear shocks. The upper body also received some visual accents to improve the overall cosmetic value of the package. The top of the windshield received a chrome plated steel reinforcement header attached with countersunk torx head screws. A fiberglass finishing rail was attached at the door pillars running back to the rear end of the fender and attached to the inside of the body with hidden screws. For weatherproofing internal drains were built into the rear deck/trunk cover system to channel water out the back end of the car. Factory weatherstripping was retained wherever possible. The fiberglass panels came in stock Firebird colors: black. beige and red. Below is the original address of the company. Please note they have been out of business for many years. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS A NICE RUNNING DRIVING LOOKING CAR SOLD AS IS NO WARRANTIES If you would like to ask any questions or would like to come look at it before auction end you are welcome to call or text 918-906-7340 or 918-519-6962
