This is a 1978 Pontiac trans am, in need of restoration,has Factory fisher t -tops It has the orginal 400 Pontiac engine that has NOT been bored yet it is still stock bore, it is a ac car but the compressor is missing,The engine and transmission is currently removed and engine is apart, it needs a rebuild all bolts etc are included and bagged and marked, the automatic transmission is included and not apart, I was told it was good, but I was going to rebuild it also, The car body needs work , there is rust in the usual places, bottom corner of doors and rear quarters, but not rusted thru, the floor pans need work right where your feet would sit,I Have included two new floor pans with car, the trunk also needs lower section replaced and I have a guy cutting this out for me now, the car itself is a VERY solid restorable car, I just do NOT have time to restore, but if it doesn't sell Quickly I am going to start back on it, all the glass is good,shaker hood included, The car is currently mostly apart, so will need to be picked up, it is about a 98% complete car, everything I have removed , I have bagged screws and marked etc. I have also included a new heater core, the car has the original wheels, and it does roll, I bought the car from a guy in Arizona, and I do Have a Clear KY title in my name for immediate transfer. Price is firm and car is sold as is with no type of warranty!! you must pick the car up,,, or for a small fee I will reassemble partly for transport . car has been stored inside since I bought it, so its dusty now, I can send you any pictures you like. 3600.00 Thanks

100% solid 78 TA previously a one owner car . This car lived its entire life in dry Southern California . The TA runs and drives perfect and can be driven anywhere . The engine is completely original from carb to oil pan. With only 70k original miles, every vacuum hose and even the smog equipment is still in place and operational. The original carb works perfect and the choke kicks in perfectly at start up. Transmission shifts perfect and all fluids are new cold AC , and all lights work perfect. It sports brand new reproduction 17 inch snowflakes with brand new 285-40 nitto nt555 tires which were specially ordered to fill the wheel wells like the originals. I do have the original snowflakes and will go with the car if the winning bidder wants them. The interior is really nice as you can see with new seat covers, carpet, and door panels front and rear. The dash is nice but has 2 small hairline splits not visible in the pics also the steering wheel foam is cracked and will need to be replaced or restored. All gauges work perfect but the speedometer cable makes a little noise sometimes and could probably need oil or be replaced. Speedometer works fine. The exterior of the car is about as nice as you will ever see. Paint is gorgeous and that Martinique blue is miles deep. You can see the quality of the finish in the reflections. Best Trans am deal on ebay today so if you have been looking to own one of the best original examples of the breed, here is your chance.
