I am looking to sell my 1989 Trans Am. I purchased it back in 2007 as a project car. I have done some work on it, but it still needs more work than I have time and space for. The motor does have a knock but the car would still be a great project. I have the work that I have done listed below. Also, the first year I had it, I had the rocker panels, wheel wells and floor pans fabricated and welded in. I would send pics if there is interest.- new fog lights- new headlight actuators- Walker exhaust system- all four speakers replaced, with a new head unit and new wiring- no cracks in the replaced T-tops, with wallet for them.- newer interior carpeting- new thermostat, serpentine belt, battery and terminal connectors- tires have less than 200 miles on them- extra rocker panel cover and two extra wheels- new dash padI purchased it with the car's second motor installed in it. It is the 305 Throttle Body V-8. This motor has about 60,000 miles on it. I have used it as a daily driver for the time that I have owned it up until late this past summer.

Selling a red 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I have owned the car and used it as a daily driver for around 5 years now. It currently has under 104,000 miles. It has a 5.7 Liter V8 LT1 engine. It is a 6 speed manual with power doors and windows. It has a magna flow cat back exhaust, no catalytic converters, long tube headers, a K&N cold air intake, 160 degree thermostat, upgraded stereo with a flip up screen. The car does need some work. It is still drivable and runs very strongly. The issues are: the clutch seems to be going, the T-Tops leak sometimes when it rains, the emergency break no longer works (probably just needs to be tightened), the tires need replacing, the air conditioning does not blow cold, the paint is chipping in some spots (see pictures) and in order to reverse you must hold it in the reverse gear. The inspection just expired at the end of July. It is a very fun and hot car to drive around on the weekends!

74 Pontiac Trans am 455 original matching numbers engine trans and rear professionally rebuilt with high performance parts throughout. Car is Admiralty blue with blue interior and in excellent condition throughout. The car was painted two years ago has no rust, scratches or dents except a small spider web crack near front bumper. Interior is mostly original with normal wear and tear in the dash, door panels and console. All seats have been recovered and the carpet was replaced. Car has am 8 track radio which I believe works but have never tried. Engine was rebuilt about 6000 miles ago has over $8500 in parts and labor during rebuild. Block bored 60 over 10:1 MK pistons, Edlebrock RA IV aluminum heads Carb and headers all tastefully assembled to look stock though it currently has between 450-475HP. I have all the heads and intake that go with the car. Transmission has been rebuilt to handle the added torque and the rear gears are currently 3:43 Posi traction. Under side is very clean, steering, braking and exhaust systems all function as they should. I have owner the car for 4 years and hate to sell but I simply have no time to drive it. All of the looks and performance of an SD 455 at less than 1/2 the price.

1986 Pontiac Trans Am, GTA conversion. A beautiful 1986 Trans Am, 5.7 liter (350 c.i.) high performance engine built by a GM dealer in Zionsville Indiana, 4 wheel disc brake WS6 package, T-Tops, only 83,000 miles and OUTSTANDING recent black paint. This is a special car. It was built around a 1986 Trans Am, using major performance components from a wrecked 1987 Trans Am GTA. The GTA donated its 5.7 motor, complete rear axle with 4 wheel brakes, special GTA wheels, seats and special center console to this car. Why do this? Because the complete original drive train and interior in this car was lost when the car was stolen, and then recovered years ago. So. . ., that was the perfect opportunity to step up to 5.7 GTA specs. The 5.7 wasn't available in a Trans Am until 1987, and then only in the GTA. The car was built by 2 older, experienced gentlemen who decided to purchase a wrecked GTA rather than a standard 5.0 liter Trans Am (305 c.i. Chevy) which is a much less powerful and capable vehicle. This makes this T/A much better than it ever was before. A few years later they traded with me for a V8 speed boat- which was a little over a year ago now. They did it right and it shows. Right down to a performance engine build at a Chevy dealer in Zionsville (remember-the 5.7 was a Chevy motor). One turn of the key and I PROMISE you will smile! It sounds awesome! Headers and dual exhausts see to that. The paint really is beautiful, and make no mistake, it is brutally fast. True story. I did noticed 2 mechanical points that either weren't finished, or were intentionally done this way and I want to point them out. The GTA must have had power windows, because the switches are still in the GTA center console which is in this car, and this car did not have power windows originally. The windows are still manual as they always were. If you choose to convert them to power all the switches are in place. Not a big deal really. The second item is that the air condition was never reinstalled. I am assuming that since they were building a performance car, it must not have been important to them, or it was intentional. About the ONLY item you will need to attend to soon will be tires. Or, at no additional charge, I have a great set of Z28 wheels and tires I would be happy to switch them with. Your choice.
