Less than 200 anniversary editions convertibles with 6 speed were made. This is a very rare and special car. It has 50,000 and is completely original. Everything is in excellent condition and extremely clean. It has never seen snow and looks like a new vehicle everywhere you look. This car is like new almost flawless one chip on the rear spoiler I have owned this car for over a year and hate to see it go. As you can see in the pics this car has never seen rain snow or been left outside. The hurst shifter and trans are like new, it has one rear speaker that vibrates when volume is turned up . There is so much info online about these 30th anniversary trans ams that I not going to get into it here . I have a clear Michigan title in hand and will ship to lower 48 for $1.15 a mile from Saranac Mi. This car is 1979 Tran Am Silver Anniversary Edition with 22240 original miles. I am the second owner of this car and it has never seen salt or snow, and has always been stored inside. The car is in my opinion a 9.75 out of 10. It has an aftermarket audio system in the dash but I have the original factory audio system for it. I also have all the original documentation for the car build sheet, window sticker, manufacturers brochure for that year, and owners manual. Radio/8 track completely rebuilt with new capacitors and head and works perfectly. Even has an AUX jack to use your Ipod or phone to play music. Factory original special Anniversary mirrored T-Tops with original storage bags, factory original armrest cover and ALL original manuals, original spare tire is included. 1979 Trans Am Tenth Anniversary Edition - 400/4spd - 1 of 1817 This vehicle has been garage kept since it was purchased several years ago. The car has always started quickly, runs strong and smoothly shifts through the gears. The paint looks very nice. There are minor imperfections and flaws/nicks as with any paint job. Car has the correct mirrored T-tops, leather seats and shag carpeting. The car is number matching. I have the build sheet for the car. The four speed cars are holding their value and this vehicle will only increase in price in the coming years - if you are reading this and have researched these cars you see the average price it goes for. The only visible modification from stock are the subframe connectors. These add rigidity to the T-top cars. This has been started at least monthly and driven to car shows. Rear pinion seal has been replaced, differential gasket/gear oil changed. It has not seen rain. The underside is clean and no signs of rust or other surprises. 1979 10th anniversary 400, 4 speed Trans Am, numbers matching motor and trans. Vin number 2X87Z9L152161 . Only 1817 were 4 speed 400 10th anniversary cars. WS6, A/C, PW,PS,P 4 Wheel Disc Brakes/ Posi Trac, This car is a 80k documented car. The title shows being purchased in 1990 with 79,860 miles. The car registration last registered was 1992. The miles on the car are 80,405. The body is a west coast car so it is fairly solid for a 36 year old car. There is some rust issues from years of sitting . 7 dime size holes in the trunk. Some trunk lid lip rust. Floor pans are mostly solid needing a fist size patch in the pass rear pan and a small hole or two. The worst area is the front cowl vent area, but luckily they sell the panel new for 200 bucks and it is easy to get to for the repair. Not running since 1992, oiled the cylinders and rotated the engine by hand each year but have not attempted starting it. This Trans Am needs total restoration.
