Up for Sale is a fine example of a 97 Trans Am WS6. 20 y/o classic. Only made these cars in 96-97 much more "rare" than the 98-02's. This car is bone stock other than K&N air filter, Flowmaster 80 series muffler, Custom Corsa Clone tail pipes. I will also include the Fikse FM5 wheels ( 17x9.5) with brand new < 200 mi Nitto 555G2' tires ( 275/40/17). The interior is perfect, ZERO wear on any of the seats, carpet, headliner, dash. no cracks in the door panels either. No leaks, noises, surprises. Car also has an Alpine head unit with the steering controls still functional. Hot heat, Ice Cold AC. Car has been garaged kept for most of its life. The wheels, tires alone were around $5K. The car cruises nicely, cruise control works as does everything else on the car. It can be driven anywhere with confidence and still get over 300 miles to a tank of fuel .Suspension is tight as is steering. underneath the car is as clean as the top. Exterior is a 9/10 and interior is a 10/10. Perfect oil pressure, coolant temps never get above 210 even in traffic. Typical temps are around 180-190 @ cruise. Up for auction is a very nice and rare 1985 Trans Am. This was a special order car. The owner had the 5 speed transmission added along with the T-tops.The car was sitting in the garage for 20 years. It had boxes piled on it and they scratched the paint. The car looks good but some of the clear coat is coming off on the driver, rear side as seen in the photos. The oil and other fluids have been changed. I drove the car down town to get it detailed, motor, shampoo and color buff, etc. The car turns heads. I did not put new tires on the car, I'll leave that up to the new owner. The Trans Am shifts very smooth, the brakes work fine. The A/C works but I'm sure will need Freon. All electrical works fine. Lights work great, power windows work without any problems. I put new strut's in for the hood and back hatch. There are a few squeaks here and there that need to be worked out, from sitting. I think that all it needs is new tires, shock's/ struts, etc. And if I was to keep it, I get a new paint job. There is one small tear on the top corner of the driver's seat as seen in the photo. The drivers door hing drops a bit and the back of the door rubs on closure. See photo. Door's close fine and no rattles with the doors, etc. I drove it 50 miles and it drove very well. Radio and speakers work as well. It's hard to find a 5 speed in this condition. The car was owned by a very good man who ended up sick. I bought the car from the family to keep, but I'd rather have a 1977 to 1981 style car. I'm in the Pontiac POCI/ GMC club. The only real damage is the right front lower valance. I found one on e-Bay, but lost the bid. It sold for $80. If you have any questions, please ask... Also, in the photo, the driver door looks like it doesn't close. The door is ajar, not closed all the way. The door does close tight. There is also a piece of trim missing on the door, as seen in the photo's. The T-Tops lock but there is no key :o(. The drivers side is unlocked. The passenger side is locked. It needs to be unlocked. This is the only Trans Am that I've had with locking T-Tops. I've had 6 Trans Am's all the other's didn't have locking T-Tops... Up for sale is my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. Ive had it for about 2 years now but can no longer afford to continue to restore it. Car runs very well, I used it as a daily driver for a short time. To the best of my knowledge, it has no major mechanical problems. The paint is only about a year old. There are a couple of small chips in it. Dash is in good shape with no cracks. I have the rear Trans Am decal that goes above the license plate but i have never put it on. There is a kill switch wired into it under the dash. Feel free to email with any questions. 1989 GTA convertible with L-98 350 engine. have a copy of the ASC work order to make the car a convertible. the body is solid NO rust. the interior is in good shape except the bottom of the front seats. it will crank and run (will smoke the tires) but the brakes need work, the booster, master and diversion valve are removed. have standing by a new set of goodyear eagle GS-C 245-45-r16 tires for it ($700 to $800). replaced shocks, bushings, brake pads, spark plugs, and many other parts and wiring. body is in very good shape no dents, rust, or fading, some surface scratches. no cracks or brakes in the plastic on the interior. the rear end is a 3.27 limited slip. have the 1989 firebird service manual to go with it. the top operates smoothly and is manual. the top has some fraying by the windows. all the lights work and the headlights operate smoothly. some of the gauges are not working, most likely a broken wire. I have not traced all of them down yet. needs some TLC to have a nice convertible.
