Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Car has been owned by myself for 12 years and I have decided to put it up for sale. The engine developed a knock (most likely a rod) about a year and a half ago and I just cannot seem to find time to get back to it. The engine will run for moving the car and loading, although it has been stored for a length of time. The accessories have been removed from the engine (alternator, belts, water pump pulley) in anticipation of pulling the engine for re-work. The body is very solid and any issues were dealt with when I had it painted. There appears to be some repair work from a previous owner on the rear-driver side frame rail which is very solid.Would make a great project to finish up over the winter Please review all details (condition, payment, etc) and feel free to ask any questions. Please do not contact me looking to purchase outside of eBay or if you are not 100% serious. *Stripped to metal and painted corvette torch red. *Rewired front to back with painless harness *American racing Torque Thrust 2 Wheels Driveline: 400ci Pontiac Engine TH350 Automatic Transmission 4:10 Rear Gears 12 Bolt rear end Drum Brakes all 4 corners Power Steering / Power Brakes Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust Holley 650cfm double pumper HEI distributor MSD ignition #12 Ram air heads Edelbrock performer intake Aluminum radiator with built in transmission cooler Hooker super comp full length headers (Jet Hot ceramic coated) Interior: Re-upholstered front and rear seats. I am selling a 1969 Pontiac Firebird with a 69 Camaro Front end. I believe the car has the 400 Pontiac engine in it but I'm not positive. Automatic transmission. The car runs and drives, however, is in rough condition. Most of the sheet metal need repaired, quarters, floors, etc. Gas tank is loose in the trunk with fuel line ran through car. Lots of cobble work, stuff wired together, duct taped, etc. Car will need full restoration, however, a great complete car to start with. Will need battery. Can come look prior to buying. It does run and drive although, I'm not certain that it is road worthy. Buyer is buying the vehicle AS-IS, WHERE-IS, NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Buyer is responsible for moving or arranging freight. I have done my best to describe it's physical condition. Keep in mind, this is a project. I have a clean title in hand for the 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Thanks for looking! I am located in West Lafayette, In 47906. I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to call me at 765-426-6704.

I bought it off the original owner 2 years ago and have finally gotten to her this summer. Before that it was sitting for 15 years in storage. All stock 350 4 bbl with an auto tranny on dual exhast. I bought some parts off Jegs to get her up and running just from sitting including a new 4 core aluminum radiator, new carb, fuel filter, fuel lines, new hoses, serpentine belt and an ignition module, wires, cap, rotor and plugs. I dropped the gas tank, cleaned it and put it back on. Drained and refilled the rear end and tranny with fresh fluids. Bought some used valve covers and replaced them along with new gaskets. Theres a newer used battery in it now that works fine. I bought 4 used matching firestone tires for it and installed. 70 percent tread left. Rebuilt the brakes. Have reciepts for all work done and all the new stuff is under warranty. All the lights work. Speedo works. Everyhing is as it should be. Missing the radio and front speakers though. Car starts, runs and sounds good. Stops good too. Theyre a little touchy at the brake petal but they work. Takes off nice and straight. Ive rode it on the highway ( minimally) a couple times the last month. Its really a nice driver as is. Factory air cond car ,(still has evaporator but compressor is gone) has factory tilt wheel, console shift, factory black bucket interior on ok condition. Headliner good. Seats fully operational. Its just old. Dashboard is clean with no cracks. Center console is also in great shape. This car needs restored to be truly exceptional. Has a little rust on the corner of the back glass needs some help but the rest of the car has very little rust, the inside of trunk and quarter panels are pretty much rust free, has a little bubbling bottom rear of fenders, passenger door has been damaged and repaired a long time ago and they did an ok bondo job on it also the car was a vinyl top car that was removed a long time ago and the holes filled with bondo the original owner told me. Frame is solid. Dog cage/ firewall is solid. In my opinion if I were to keep it the car it will need to be fully stripped down and repaired correctly to be an A+ looker like the ones on here going for $15-$25k or If your a handy man you could do a little body work, throw on a quick paint job and drive it as is and have a REALLY nice car for the money. It wouldnt take much to take this car to a whole new level. I have a stock 400 formula hood with scoops, bumper and grill as well as a brand new 400 formula trim and badge setup I can throw in for the right price . Interested parties can email me with any questions they may have. Can help with shipping if not too far from me. I would like to get back what Ive got into it and move on to the next project. Most of the hard work is done here already. Make a reasonable offer. Its time for this bird to fly! Thanks for looking. Car is located in Joliet Illinois.

I am selling a 69' Firebird I started restoring about 3 years ago. It is painted a three color scheme, all new BMW colors, and is fitted with an LS1 engine and 4L60E auto tranny. This is a ground up restoration, everything new to include: * Currie Ford 9" rear end w/ 4.11 race gears* Rear shock relocation kit* Upgraded to a rack and pinion steering* Disk brakes all around* Aftermarket ram-air hood, and truck* 20 inch alloy race wheels and tires* Brake pump and booster* Radiator, electric radiator and fan, and oil cooler* CPU reprogrammedThis car is NOT complete as it is missing electrical, a drive shaft, brake and fuel lines (have but not installed) , and the entire interior. Asking $15k, or make an offer.I have invested more than 20k so it is a steal!

It's been babied and would be nasty on the track if you decided to try it.. The car runs GREAT! Starts right up every time and lets you know you are driving a true American Muscle car!! The Firebird came from Tennessee and has a TN title, I've owned it for three years here in Connecticut. The car is registered here in CT but doesn't have a CT title, here they don't give them to cars over 25 years old, but it's great that I have a clear TN title which is key to the new owner for registering in your state.. This car attracts attention like no other and has won multiple ''BEST IN SHOW'' awards all over the area.. It's been described as Classy, Super Clean and my favorite ''BAD ASS'' hahaha..... When you see this car in person it will blow you away!!! **List of Equipment** *Custom paint done in Electric Purple with lots of clear, Super wet look! Show Quality!! Alot of money and labor has gone into making this Firebird a TRUE one of a kind car that many would be proud to own! I have sold a few vehicles here in the past on ebay and have found the best way and ONLY way to accept payment is through Bank wire transfers, its the safest way for both parties to feel comfortable, other than cash on pick up which will also be accepted... NO checks!! I request a down payment of $1,000 within 48hrs to hold the car, which can be done with paypal and Full payment to be made within 7 days of purchase!! CALIFORNIA CAR WITH LOTS OF FUN UPGRADES!PERFECT CAR TO COMPLETELY RESTORE AS YOU DRIVE IT!Chevy 350 with Edelbrock Aluminum Heads 4 Speed Muncie M21 Transmission NEW 3.73 GearsNEW Edelbrock Preformer 750 carbNEW Moroso Oil PanNEW HURST Shifter (w/ new rubber boot included separately)NEW Tires & Lug NutsNEW Timing Chain & CoverNEW Heat Wrapped Fuel LinesMSD 6AL Ignition & WiresAluminum Radiator ( runs very cool )Low Profile Street ManifoldComp CamHedman HeadersDual Flowmaster 40 Series ExhaustSadly, I have to part with my baby due to a recent move (only allowed 2 gated parking spaces) and my passion project has to go. The good news is that she can now get the full attention she deserves!Six years ago I purchased this bird from it's 3rd owner in Palm Springs, CA. I had very high hopes for this car, and sold my mint condition '91 Z-28 so that I could finally join the ranks of the 1st gen club.I drove this car to work and back for a few years as my daily driver, slowly adding the parts I wanted and making it my own. Like many classic enthusiasts my plan was to do a full restoration as I drove her, starting from the motor, then interior, and finally ending with the paint. However, plans change - and now 6 years later I've found myself having to give her up!The car pulls HARD at higher RPM's. The heads really allow it breathe properly once you get up there - but it's fairly mild below 4k revs. It's no wanna-be drag car and is very well suited for daily street use. Nothing beats going through gears on a Muncie while on an open stretch of road.Any classic owner knows the fear and dread of an overheating V8, so I didn't skimp on the radiator. She will run cool either on the freeway, or stuck in traffic. It sounds and idles great and definitely turns heads everywhere it goes. Be prepared to talk to a lot of strangers about your ride.So now that the cool stuff is out of the way - here is what the car needs ( or not depending on what you're into )Interior carpeting is a bit old and discolored. It's intact, but I would eventually swap this out. Luckily it's not very expensive.Weatherstripping works for California, but it's a bit old. I'd eventually replace this too.Like most of the classic car's I've owned - the air vents and wipers need some work.I would replace gauges on center counsel, but it's up to you.And finally, unless you want to roll around like Mad Max in The Road Warrior, I'd eventually give her a proper paint job. You can't really tell from the pictures but the paint isn't in the best of shape.Body is straight and free of dents ( no bondo work ever ) - so this won't be too much of an issue. Be prepared to set off a few car alarms too, especially in garages. The good news is that you get a solid platform to begin YOUR build with (complete with a few universally approved performance mods), at a competitive price.I'm pricing this car to sell, and I have it at my local mechanic's shop for sale as well - first come first served! I'm here to help with any questions - I want to make this as easy as possible for both parties. Thanks for looking!-Nick
