1976 Pontiac Formula Firebird; almost completely restored with a little bit of money it will be completed. It has new tires, new paint, new carpet, new interior seats. It runs and drives greats. Engine and Transmission is vin correct. Engine is a Pontiac 350 with a 4 barrel Holly Carb with a high rise Edelbrock Intake. Tranny is a Turbo 400, 3 speed Automatic with aftermarket shifter so you can select each gear manually if you choose to. Posi track rear end (not sure on gear ratio). Things that still need done; Carpet in trunk, needs new hood release cable, blower motor, a/c unit, carb has small vacuum leak, choke cable installed. Gas gauge does not work and neither does the speedometer. It will need audio system, temperature control switch, armrests for door panels and it needs a head liner. I've decided to sell my 1989 Firebird Formula with a 5.0 throttle body fuel injection and t-tops.The car in very nice condition. This car is all original,except for the Flowmaster exaust.I replaced the tires a few years ago(BF GOODRICH COMP 2)and the headlight motors. The bird has a rust free body,spoiler could use a repaint,paints cracking a lil.Otherwise its still a very attractive car. The interior is clean and all original.Everything in the interior is in good working order. This Firebird runs and drives great.Is in very nice condition,for its age.The car has 45,000 miles. The car does have one big issue,it leaks anti-freeze out the bottom of the engine.I think it needs re-blocked,otherwise it runs great.Never overheats or runs badly.I've enjoyed this car for six years now.I'm the third owner. Paint is shiny and looks good with some normal small (not really noticeable) scratches here and there (it is 19 years old!). Good tires. Tan Leather interior. Bought the car over 2 years ago with 123,000 miles. Just turned 170,000 miles all put on it driving 80 miles round trip to work every day. Mileage is going up every day. Car had a brand new AC system installed before I bought it, new tires 2 years ago, new water pump and serpentine belt installed last year, one new coil pack, new brakes and rotors last year, new battery 6/14/2015, just put all new plug wires on. No mechanical problems. Motor is very quiet. Will need a muffler (rusted through last winter). Vehicle does have a check engine light on since I bought it 50,000 miles ago due to the evap system. Lots of cobble work, stuff wired together, duct taped, etc. Car will need full restoration, however, a great complete car to start with. Will need battery. Can come look prior to buying. This car is like new, show it or drive and enjoy. There are a few updates made to the car. The targa top or roof behind the ttops has been replaced for the dreaded sail panel bubbles. Just google if you haven't heard about it. This is a big and expensive problem with theses cars starting in 1998. The rims have been redone stripped buffed and clear coated to remove the wheel weight marks on the outside. New tires and the wheel weights put on the inside with sticky weights. The headlight motors strip the plastic gears, so metal gears have been installed. The door panels seem to crack on these cars as well. In 2003-04 I replaced both door panels with original gm replacements ($1000). I am the second owner, I bought the car in 2000. Is is garage kept with a car cover (included) and in a heated garage. Never seen snow and barely seen rain. This car has not been modified. It is stock except for the crossed drilled and slotted rotors. I was looking for American made and used these. And the exhaust which is a Borla with adjustable plates for sound and exhaust tips. It has a factory alarm system and monsoon stereo.

The paint is in awesome condition and only has a small scuff on the front passenger side bumper. There is also the typical interior door crack in the drivers side door panel. Because we have had many problems with people trying to buy outside of ebay, we are asking to not contact us outside ebay asking what our bottom line is. The price is firm. Also, please be sure you can make arrangements to pick up or ship the car if you purchase. We have had many problems with people bidding and purchasing this item already. Currently the car does not drive, although it does start. The car has a few dings and scratches on it and could use a paint job, but the body work looks good. The car has two new rear quarter panels, and a new drivers side rocker panel. The bumpers are clean, and I think I have all of the trim pieces, except for front and back window chrome. The engine is a 1967 Pontiac 326 V8 with a Turbo 400 short shaft transmission. It has a new starter, fuel pump, master cylinder, radiator, and belts and hoses. The engine has been rebuilt (not by me so I don't have specs). It has original drum brakes on the front, and a posi traction rear end with disk brakes on the back. I think the car originally came with a 350, and it had the shifter on the column. I put a floor shifter in. The front buckets, door panels, and dash pad have been re-upholstered. It has new front glass, and original side and rear glass. It has new dual exhaust with Thrush mufflers. PAYMENT AND PICK UP: Deposit of $1,000 required for highest bidder within 2 days or car will be relisted. Seller will email PayPal information at auction end. Balance due at time of pickup.
