Up for sale this 1971 Pontiac Esprit turned into a Pro Touring Trans Am. I purchased this car about two years ago from the builder who said he spent five years creating this Pro Touring car. Since then it has sat in my garage not being driven as much as it should. The builder of this car stated there was about 5000 miles on it when I purchased it and since then I have put maybe 600 miles on it. Odometer is in Kilometers and reads 8899 now. Below specs are as stated by builder and have not found any reason to doubt they are all correct. THE GOOD: ENGINE: LQ9 with GM Hot Cam, LS6 valve springs, LS6 intake with high flow MAF sensor and injectors, OEM ECM with custom tune, Custom wiring harness, aluminum radiator with integrated temp sensor and fabricated fan shroud with two 800 CFM fans. TRANSMISSION: Rebuilt T56 from RPM Transmission, LS& clutch and pressure plate,ATS clutch pedal and hydraulic reservoir, PRO 5.0 short throw shifter, Z06 knob. EXHAUST: Headman ceramic coated headers, 2 1/2 inch Magnaflow exhaust, high flow transverse muffler SUSPENSION: Complete Hotchkis 2" drop suspension kit, Bilstein shocks re valved for 2" drop, DSE upper and lower control arms, DSE quick ratio steering box, Completely rebuilt 8.5" rear end with 3.73 gears, posi with T/A cover. WHEELS AND BRAKES: Rushforth Whiplash wheels 18X8 and 18X10 with brushed finish and clear powder coat, Nitto 555 tires 245 front and 285 rear, DSE 7" brake booster with Corvette master cylinder. MISCELLANEOUS: Vintage Air serpentine pulley system, Ring Bros hood hinges, DSE 7 speed variable wiper kit. Keyless entry and alarm system with electric truck solenoid. THE BAD: I believe in full disclosure so here it is: Since owning this car I have noticed items that may need attention. Master cylinder is seeping onto brake booster. Trunk springs are not strong enough to hold lid with added spoiler. Front bumper has small cracks in paint (see picture) . Door, and hood gaps could be a lot better. Paint is beautiful but it is NOT a show car, if you look hard enough there are flaws and some touch up areas. Power windows work but could operate a little better. Indicator cancel does now always work. Speedometer and Odometer are in Kilometers. GM Hot cam is noisy . I encourage serious bidders to perform an inspection in person. Up for auction is my numbers matching 69 Firebird 350. I am the 3rd owner of this original California car and have owned it since 1998. Factory equipped with the TH 400 3 spd auto trans and Rochester 2bbl carb. Paint and interior were redone in 1999. Beautiful car inside and out. Points, plugs, wires, battery, starter, alternator, fuel pump, carb, brakes, tires all recently serviced or replaced. Body and chassis are rust free. I had it down to bare metal when it was painted. Virtually no bondo on it. The paint is good but not perfect. There are some little chips here and there and a small scrape on the rear right quarter panel. Interior is like new except for a crack on the dash, some drivers door panel wear, and some discoloration on the rear view mirror. It's an AC car but the compressor needs new bearings. Up for sale here is a very nice 1979 Formula Firebird. If you want to do a car that can be show room this is it. I bought this car in the mid 80's the paint was faded, I prepped it for paint and it sat in the garage for over 25 years. It has never had any rot or accidents. The original interior is near mint. The headliner in drooping a bit. After I moved a few years ago, I filled the carb up with gas and it fired up in 5 seconds. Still runs smooth as can be. The t tops don't leak and the car is almost fully loaded. I have been collecting old cars for decades and it is time to try and let a couple dozen go. The car has just about 85,000 original miles. I don't do my own paint any more. I have done body and paint work since the 70's so I know what a solid car is. I come from the East coast and don't have rusted cars. Please call if serious. This 1991 Pontiac Firebird is in amazing condition. Original California car. It is factory White with T-Tops. The body and paint are close to perfect overall, no dings dents or scratches. No rust of any kind, including underneath. The interior is all original and in excellent condition as well including the seats. The carpet is nice and and the door panels are clean as shown. Everything works on this Firebird. The A/C was rebuilt early 2016 and it blows cold with no leaks. It has been driven 20,000 miles in the last 3 years after being purchased from the estate of a mayor here in Calfornia who owned it previously. It has had all the maintenance including preventative. It has a new Viper alarm with keyless entry and a new MP3 CD radio with speakers added tastefully as shown without damaging the door panels or anything. The tires are new. Headlights work perfectly. I just took a few driving videos and walk around as well as many photos to show it thoroughly. It has 159k original miles, and it looks like it has 59k. It feels and sounds like a modern newer car while driving. This is a Cherry collector quality Firebird that you can drive anywhere safely right now. No play in the steering and at 90mph there is no road noise and the rpms are low. It gets over 20mpg. The V8 was refreshed a couple years ago and it takes no effort to spin the tires. Clean clear title. Passes smog with no issues. All rubber gaskets perfect except inner window gasket which is included. T-Tops do not leak. No issues to mention it sounds great and runs smooth, plus it has no leaks. I wish I didn't have to sell it but I do. It is ready to drive safely anywhere. International buyers accepted. I took well over 100 pictures and hid nothing you can see those and the videos by clicking view all below. I don't like surprises and I don't want the new owner to have any. The dash has a couple cracks and the headliner is not perfect. It has the passenger map pocket/cup holder in great condition it was just not installed in the photos.
