Car is currently on its 4th owner who performed the entire upgrade to its present state. This Firebird has never been in any accidents, nor has it been repainted. It retains all of the original equipment, glass, interior, radio, 383 cu. in. stroker motor, and its Lingenfelter, fiberglass front end. Current owner has had the car 5 years and just completed the upgrades during the past year. All of the recent modifications listed below, including an entire engine rebuild, were performed less than 50 miles ago by Maryland Performance Specialties! It is 100% street legal, runs on pump gas, with all working turn signals, brake lights, head lights, etc. Firebird has not been raced since completion. An excellent driver currently in use by the whole family, this 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible is currently for sale so that room can be made for another classic convertible. Gone through from head to toe this past winter, many new items were installed- carburetor, front springs correct for the 400 CI Pontiac motor, a Classic Industries rotary compressor air conditioning system, a new fuel tank, a new E brake system, and a new dual exhaust. In addition, the Firebird was sorted so that all electricals function properly, even the ignition buzzer works on this car. All receipts are present and available for review. The date stamped RallyII wheels were bead blasted and restored to factory spec, with new Radial TA's as of March 2015. The convertible top works flawlessly and fits very well. It has no tears or wear. The interior is in very good condition overall, plenty of support in the seats. The exterior was repainted prior to current ownership and is finished in a silver blue metallic clear. The build tag shows this Firebird originally to be an Espresso Brown, factory 4 speed with a 350 and air conditioning. The rebuilt 400 is a Pontiac motor and runs strong. Lift the hood and you will find the original 4.9 liter turbocharged V8 that rests in a clean engine bay and produces 210 horsepower and 345 lb/ft of torque.
