Up for auction is a beautiful 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This has been a fantastic car to own and drive. It turns heads wherever it goes and has won many awards. It recently made a trip to Darlington SC without issue and even was able to turn some laps around the track. Car has been garage kept and besides going to Darlington, has only been brought out in good weather on weekends for shows and cruises. Features included on this car: -Reproduction Snowflake Wheels -Retro Reproduction Goodyear Tires -403 Olds Engine -Automatic Transmission -T-tops -Shaker Hood Scoop (opened for air flow) -True Dual Exhaust (Flowmaster) also with electronic exhaust cutouts. This thing sounds like a beast when they are open. -Functional vintage GM factory CB with antenna -Working AM/FM/8 track radio (8 tracks not included in auction). The radio tunes fine but the tuner needle needs to be reattached to the mechanism as it currently does not move. -Power windows Original Stowaway Spare in trunk with inflation can -1979 Pontiac Dealer Product Manual, Car Manual, and other literature included in sale -Pontiac Racing Jacket seen in photos is included in sale -New Door Panels and Steering Wheel installed within last 2 years The exterior paint is absolutely stunning in person but does have some minor imperfections as would be expected with use. The car has been garage kept and well loved. The interior is in good condition but could use some work. There is a dashboard crack which currently has a thermo/clock over it. Some of the interior plastics/surfaces show wear and can be replaced if desired. T-top seals leak and those with the door seals are dry and can be replaced. Engine is in original condition except for plugs/wires/and distributor. The A/C belt is not currently attached so I suspect it does not work but all components are there. The paint is Stunning and Original. The color is called Solar Gold and it shine beautiful. The emblems on the car are all original as are the Decals. You can see the bird is still like new. It truly is amazing to see this car so Original and in this condition. The body is laser straight and all the gap's line up perfectly there are no imperfections in paint. Factory Ac which was converted to R 134 and it's Ice cold . Its the only thing that was up graded on the car and it's now easier to maintain. The needles are bright and the odometer is still bright white. Mechanically she is a Gem. The Numbers matching 403 4 barrel starts right up and runs super smooth . No rattles, shakes, etc. It has a lot of power and the transmission shifts flawless as well. The suspension is super tight and makes no noises .
