This is a 1978 firebird that has been completely redone and runs great. I have been driving it daily for the past few weeks without any problems. It has been an extremely fun car for me but I have to sell. I also have a car cover that will go with the car. It has been used for drag racing at a local strip but never made into a full race car. It is easy to drive around on the street without any problems. Here is a listing of what it has. Engine: It has a 383 that was bought from scoggin dickey parts center. It comes with edelbrock top end and vortech heads. The carburetor is an edelbrock 750 that was put on about 3wks ago. The ignition is an MSD setup with a 6AL, blaster 2 coil and 8.8mm racing plug wires. The oil and spark plugs were just changed this week. It has an electric Moroso water pump and electric radiator fan on new radiator which keeps it very cool cruising around town. The alternator is also new and was put on a few weeks ago, There was nothing wrong with the old one but I happened to have this larger one so it was put on. Transmission: The transmission is a completely rebuilt TH350, It has a B&M shift kit and with full acceleration is dose shift hard. It has a 3200 stall converter with a B&M ratchet shift so can either bump shift if going to race or put in drive to cruise around. Fuel System: It has a 12gallon fuel cell and Holley blue fuel pump and fuel cell with stainless steel line. It has a regulator and currently running at 8psi Exhaust: The exhaust is Holley headers to a dual exhaust with dual flowmaster 40series mufflers then dumped before the rear axle. It also has a side pipe that can be uncapped to allow for open headers if racing. Rearend: The rearend has 4.11 gears and a posilock. Suspension: The suspension in the rear is leafsprings and has slapper bars for improved traction. The front has been lowered about 2.5in with drop spindles and lowering coils. It does not hit on things when driving around but gives the car a very nice angle. Wheels and tires: The wheels are 15in weld racing wheels that are very light and have been polished up nicely, The back tires are Mickey Thompson ET streets which give very good traction. Interior: The interior floor is rhino lined and has front bucket matching yellow seats with 4 point RCI harness. It also has the back seat in it. The dash has all white faced gauges and shift light in a stainless steel insert. The gauges are an Autometer speedometer, and Sunpro Tachometer, oil pressure, voltmeter, Temp, and boost gauges. There switches in the dash are for electric fuel pump, radiator fan, water pump and gauge lights. There is all new weather stripping around doors, windows and trunk, In the trunk there is an optimum redtop battery and a battery maintainer so that it can be plugged in if going to be sitting for a little while and the battery will not die. LOWER RESERVE ADDED1975 Pontiac Firebird with Formula Badging A great example - original matching numbers 350 CU engine with 350 turbo automatic tranny. Has a Edelbrock 4 barrel on it along with Edelbrock Performer intake. Has a mild Crane cam in it, New dual Pypes exhaust system with crossover, new front windshield and trim, weather stripping and window felts, Formula hood (metal) with FUNCTIONING Ram Air set up. Factory A/C that works beautifully. Below is a more detail description of all of what you want to know: INTERIOR: NEW – Headliner, carpet and sound deadener, front seat covers (factory custom option) and padding, temp/oil pressure gauge, Sony Bluetooth stereo system. Great looking interior, just look at the pictures! Every gauge works – even the clock which was serviced & lubricated. Has rear defogger option. All old incandescent dash bulb lights were changed nice white LEDs so you could actually see the instrument clusters! Looks awesome. No cracks in dash pad. Black interior with bucket seats, center console and tilt steering MECHANICAL: NEW – Crane camshaft, alternator, Intake manifold, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, spark wires, fresh transmission oil & filter change. 64,770 original miles. Front disc brakes. Starts up nice and easy. Runs great and strong. Shifts perfectly. Nicely detailed engine compartment. Functioning Ram Air induction. BODY: The car was originally red paint. Painted a few years back to a rich black metallic. Looks real nice but is not a showroom quality paint job. You would have to get close to really find what the faults are. Car is laser straight, nice gaps, all metal – no filler. Everything opens and shuts with ease. Front rubber bumper does show some signs of age.Frame and trunk are solid – there was a floor patch put in the driver’s side rear floor corner.
