Antique 1984 Mercedes Benz 300CD Turbo Diesel - Rare Two Door - One Owner - Low Mileage This fantastic classic car has been a family car since the day it was purchase. It was maintained monthly however it has not been driven in the past 3 years or so. It's all original with the exception of the radio however I do have the original radio if you want it. There is a tiny bit of rust in the top right corner of the trunk. It did leak a bit but nothing crazy. There are also two small cigarette burns on the moon roof. These engines run forever but I would assume it needs new tires and a new battery. Overall this car is in great condition with very low milage for its age. It was a weekend car kept in the garage (with exception of the past few years) and driven primarily on highways. With a little TLC it needs just minor cosmetic fixes and it can be a good car for many more years.Can deliver within 100 miles. The car has received excellent care of by each of its three owners. This beautiful Mercedes has been garaged and pampered. The original owner had the car serviced at the Mercedes dealership, and all maintenance records are available with the vehicle. All original manuals, registration plate, and records are available. Also included is a Haynes 300-page Maintenance and Repair Manual. The car is in Top Mechanical Condition and drives like new. The car starts immediately (even on the coldest winter day). It has excellent power, shifts smoothly, and the suspension is controlled and supple. There are no vibrations at any speed. The brakes work well without pulling or pulsations. The engine uses no oil between oil changes. Door locks are fast and responsive. Air blows out the appropriate vents. All seats and leather are in excellent condition. The climate controls are functioning perfectly with heat and ice cold A/C. The original Mercedes Servo Control for the climate control has been replaced with an UnwiredTools™ ACCII System. Since installing this upgrade, the AC and Heater run with precise temperature control and much better than the old Mercedes Servo Mercedes 300CDs of the '76 to '82 vintage have this problematic and complicated mechanical system and will eventually leave you with no heat when you most upgrade was $1000 and it was money well spent. The Mercedes In-Series Glow Plugs System was replaced with a modern BERU Parallel Pencil-Style glow plugs that heat up faster and more reliably. The parallel plugs means that if one of the glow plugs fail the other 4 will continue to work and allow you to start the engine (unlike the series system from Mercedes!) All options work properly including the cruise control, power windows, Clock, Sunroof, Power Locks. The Stereo is the original Becker Mexico with AM/FM and works perfectly and with a beautiful sound. The original Hirshmann electric antenna works very well. 5 New Michelin X Tires from COSTCO were installed and balanced at 107,350 miles. They have been rotated twice since then. The car needs no maintenance at this time and is ready to be driven anywhere. The safety inspection from the State of North Carolina is current. Because it is considered an Antique Car the licensing costs are also much lower than normal. The car sports its original factory paint. You are looking at a rare USA Amg wide body that is said to be 1 of 27 built by Beverly Hills Mercedes Dealership. The car is in very nice shape. All cosmetic flaws reflect 138k miles and being 26 years old. I believe the car is nicer than most 138k cars. Interior looks nice and shows minor signs of wear which is consistant to mileage. Car runs great and shifts flawless. Has ALSD/LSD/Posi traction/sure grip rear. Very rare for mercedes in that day and age. I have taken enough photos for someone to gauge what they are buying. This is a piece of Mercedes history. I am selling this car for a friend of mine. He is an older gentlemen and no longer has time to own 4 rare/nice Mercedes. He is cutting back to Two cars. He no longer wants to maintain and register and insure 4 vehicles. Can be very expensive maintaining 4 mercedes. He rarely drives the car anymore. He non opted the car. Clear title. I have driven the car with two 1 day permits. I put over 250 miles on it. It drives very well. The car tracks true and straight. Tires do not rub the flared fenders. Heater seems to blow some hot air while in the off position. Not a huge deal but may need attention in the near future. Has a very nice stereo set up. The stereo is in the locked security setting. This Mercedes W123 300CD Turbo-Diesel Coupe with OM617 Turbo-Diesel Motor has only 160k original miles. It's the Federal version (non-CA), so it has the standard air setup but still has the highly sought-after 2.88 geared rear differential. The body is in incredible shape with almost no visible damage to any of the body panels. In addition to the obvious need for a paint job, most of the body seals are dried and cracked and in need of replacement. The interior is in great shape. Nearly perfect dash, great front seats, even the carpets are pretty nice. The rear seat side panels are cracked along the top and were covered with a strip of matching vinyl. The rear seats are dried along the top but may be repairable. See photos for details. This car sat for about 10 years (hence the low mileage), but it didn't take much to get it started again. The OM617 turbo-diesel motor runs great and has almost no blowby. The compression test came back great: 400 in the first four cylinders and 380 in the fifth. You can see a video of the motor running, as well as many additional photos, if you click here. It smokes a little more than ideal, but based on our experience and the improvement we've seen with this motor already, we're confident it will keep running better with some hard driving and successive oil changes. The automatic transmission shifts as it should, the steering is tight, the suspension is smooth. We've driven it about 150 miles and fixed a few things here and there, but would highly recommend additional diagnostic and maintenance servicing before making this a daily driver. It could generally use some more fluids & filters changed, and more road testing may highlight some additional needed repairs to the typical wearable maintenance items. There's issues with some of the typical accessory systems that we haven't gone into yet (power windows, sunroof, locks, cruise control). Overall, it's a great starting point for a real head-turner, a fantastic project for a DIY mechanic.

I am selling my personal 1982 Mercedes 300 CD Turbodiesel. I purchased this car in 1991 from a Florida Mercedes dealer. I have the owners manual and original owners maintenance records for this car which will verify that I am the second owner. This car has always been kept garaged and I religiously followed the manufacturers maintenance requirements.Rust free, original paint, no fading and never repainted.Tires in very good condition.AC updated and blows cold. Compressor, drier, expansion valve, hoses, etc replaced 3 years ago to make it compliant to R134.Interior all original and in very good condition except for a wear tear in the drivers side left side bolster. No cracks in dash.Custom front and rear consoles installed as seen in photos.Original radio replaced with Panasonic CD radio. Power antenna works.Speedometer works but odometer broke 3 years ago. Estimated maximum mileage is 135,000. Tachometer works intermittently. Cruise control works. All gauges work.Front windows work excellently. Rear windows do not lower. You are looking at a beautiful 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300 CD, two door diesel coup. The engine was recently replaced and the car runs great. There is no title, but will be sold with a notarized bill of sale. Because of damage to front fender, the insurance decided to total car, and car was bought by collector, and as previously mentioned, the engine has been replaced. The car is now available for sale. If you are a title state, and can transfer a bill of sale legally, then you can apply for a title. Meanwhile, I am thinking about applying for a title if the car does not sell within 30 days. This is the last year this elegant model was made. Grey leather seats in good condition with a little wear on the driver side. Sits four comfortably. All the power equipment working (windows, sunroof, antennae, cruise control, radio) Drives beautifully and very solid. This is from an estate where the owner purchased it in 1988 and kept it in the garage in the SW so no rust. It is in original condition. The owner kept up the maintenance of the car when it was needed and regular oil changes. It just got a new battery, air conditioner and had a fan replaced. Flaws: it does have normal wear and tear for a car this age-paint and body in great shape with a few dimples, 3 cracks in the dash, a nick in the front windshield (passenger side), passenger fog light's glass broken, the new battery does not fit in the plastic case in the trunk so the battery fits fine in its place with the case in the trunk to the side in case needed again. Only have one key at this time but I will mail the extra key if located. Has a manual for 450 SLC. It is great car looking for a great owner who will love to own this classic.

Up for sale I have a 2 owner Mercedes-Benz 380SEC 2 door coupe. My dad purchased the car from a friend in 1984. The original sticker price on the car was $54000.00. The car has been well maintained throughout its life and now it's time for someone else to enjoy it. I have recently done the following services to the car: - Replaced Timing Chain - Replaced Alternator - Installed New Sway Bar Links - Replaced the Brake Lines - Replaced Brake Pads all the way Around - Changed Brake Fluid - Changed Transmission Fluid - Changed Power Steering Fluid - A/C Converted to R134 The car runs great and is ready to go. Finished in highly desirable White over Palmino Leather interior, this is perhaps one of the finest examples left in existence. With only 69k original miles, this Benz has only travelled an average of 3k miles per year. The exterior finish shines like brand new. Always garaged, the paint is in excellent shape with no fading or blemishes of any sort. All of the stainless, glass and rubber trim look great. The wheels and tires are in fine shape. The interior is equally as nice. The Palmino leather upholstery is still soft and supple with no rips, tears or general imperfections of any sort. The wood is so crystal clear it looks 3D, with none of the general cracking or fading typical of these cars. How does it drive? The 124 Chassis solidity and build quality are legendary. This fine example is no exception. The 1993 Mercedes 300CE coupe is one of the best versions of this series ever produced. The engine was enlarged from 3.0L to 3.2L making 217hp and 229lb ft (up from 195) which makes a huge improvement for off the line acceleration. These 24v straight six motors will run virtually forever with proper maintenance. Now this is not the typical “Really nice with 145,000 miles” for $3500.
