**** See bottom of ad for links to videos of the car **** I'm looking to sell my 1984 Mercedes station wagon. I get a car to play around and tinker with for a while. ($3,000 invested in parts etc.) When I'm done fixing up and playing with it I sell it and look for something new. Currently has 292k miles and you would never know it. This car in GREAT condition. runs and idles perfectly and drives nice. Since I've purchased it I've replaced the following- windshield Fuel injectors oil pan valve cover gasket rear calipers new grille headlights bezels refinished the wood trim on the center console installed velour fitted seat covers replaced all of the carpeting from a donor car in the original color replaced the passenger side window regulator installed all LED lights in the cluster and center console installed a Kenwood bluetooth stereo (color matches dash lights) with a sub-woofer mounted in the center of the spare tire (Anyone who has had one of these knows how pathetic the stereo's sounded, now it's very nice to listen to) I have also replaced the struts for the rear hatch so it stays open with no problem brand new tires (less than 1,000 miles) I did a complete tune up including fuel filters, oil filter, air filter, diesel purge and adjusted the valves. Paint shines, but is not perfect. I fixed a few area's where the clearcoat was pealing and it matches nicely, but it is by no means perfect. A few dings here and there and small dent under the fuel fill area, but nothing major. Only minor issues- 1. The rear SLS suspension works great and has no leaks BUT, it does make a banging sound sometimes and can't for the life of me figure out what it is. The shocks work and the ride is perfect so it could be a body mount. I haven't been able to diagnose it. 2. The vacuum powered locks are disconnected. There's a leak somewhere in the system but I haven't dived into working on it (yet). 3. The transmission works, but sometimes flares going into 3rd and 4th gear. It also starts off in 2nd gear UNLESS you manually put it in L and shift it manually. I had the same issue in my 1980 300TD and was related to the vacuum system (reason why the locks are disconnected). 4. A/C compressor does not work and is unplugged. Heat and auto climate system works perfectly. 5. Drivers rear window will go up and down, but doesn't like to go all the way up without a little help. The best part of this car is there is NO RUST. This was a California and Oregon car till 2015. There's no rot, no rusting quarter panels or spare tire area, the jack points are solid and corrosion free. It is VERY hard to find a W123 in the northeast with no rust on it. The good with this car definitely outweighs the bad. I will accept a reasonable offer. I don't have to sell it, just seeing if there is another lover of these diesels who is looking to give it a good home. 1977 Mercedes-Benz 350se euro car...not the 280se mass produced in the statesthis car is the v8 model and is one of less than 4000 ever producedW116 Up for sale I have a nice example of the Classic Mercedes Flagship Mercedes-Benz 350SE. This fine example is a 1977 Euro Model that was imported into the United States after it's first owner, a Doctor in Stuttgart in Germany exported it. Less than 4000 were ever made and it was never available for sale in US Mercedes Dealerships. It runs and drives very nice and shows well for its age. I acquired it from the original US owner, and it has been in his family since it was imported. At the moment it is equipped as a US Federalized 350SE. The car comes with its original Euro leveling headlights, tailights, and bumpers. As well as the US bumpers and lights that are seen on the car. The paint is in decent condition for being 4 decades old! The interior is also very clean with only a small tear in the drivers seat bottom. This would make a very nice driver as the previous owner drove it every day, or a great candidate for a restoration. At 211,000 original miles it averages out to around 5k miles a year. 1985 Mercedes Turbo Diesel with 161 K.Front end was rebuilt 1.5 years ago. New Bushings and ball Joints, Bilstein shocks and trailing arms. Remanufactured front calipers and newer pads.Engine mounts , trans mounts done as well.Rear Diff oil changed 1.5 years ago and Differential mount changed as well.Valve adjustment done a few times, most recently under 500 Miles ago. replaced valve cover gasket. 3 year old Bosch Battery and JVC aftermarket head unit and Infinity speakers all around. Still have orginal Becker stereo.Have all the Rubber components and parts and bilstein shocks for the rear end in the trunk for the next person.All windows and door locks work including the sunroofHas a custom fit Dash Cover and seats are near perfect. Now onto the not glamorous stuff...AC compressor was removed by previous owner due to it be seized. So no ACNo FM antenna removed due to it being stuck down.Car is not perfect and has some rust spots by rear window in corners. Also right front quarter panel has two bigger spots. at least panel is replaceable. Rear muffler has a hole on it. Car is not loud.Rear shocks need to be done. Comes with new Bilsteins.Starts fine all the way down to about 20ish degrees. Glo plugs work good. Anything around the teens needs the block heater plugged in. This is a great car with alot of style, its not perfect but its still really nice for 30 years old and still reliable. Was a daily driver.

This was my fathers car and I've been holding onto it and maintaining it for the past 4 years since he past. The car is in good condition but its a 92 and needs sometlc. There's a small scratch on the rear trunk, I believe an EGR sensor needs to be replaced and the vacuum lock system needs servicing. Also, there is a small crack in the windshield (bottom left). I've upgraded the car with 19" AMG Monoblock wheels, a Sony radio with USB in to stream pandora from your iphone, tinted windows and eibach springs. I really hate to let go of this car but i don't drive it enough and it kills me watching it sit in my garage. The car is located in Central Jersey. (Rare) Diamond Blue Metallic 1987 300TD [W124]: I6 3.0L Turbo Diesel, Gray MB-Tex, Sunroof, cupholders, rare roofrack cross bars, etc. Motor sounds great. Turbo works very well. Transmission shifts nice and firm, as should be expected. Paint is 'fair', its an '87. The gray MB-tex seating is in respectable condition. No cracks across the dash like most of this era. No third row seat. This car is obviously not a collectible, rather a nice solid driver. I would certainly encourage seeing the vehicle in person. Car starts right up and runs well. It is a nice solid ride. The hard top is in good shape. The Convertible Top has some wear but no major holes. All the gauges work , including the clock. As pictured the seats have some wear. a/c does not work but the compressor does turn on and the system did hold freon the last time it was checked.
