Up for sale is my 1978 Mercedes Benz 300D - diesel. Cool old classic German car that runs, drives and stopsFour door with working electric sunroof (rare)Interior is amazing seats are in excellent shape as is the headliner with only one spot where it has come loose at the sunroof area - easy fix not a tear just needs some glue All gauges work - yes, even the clock still works.Power antenna works - with aftermarket radio with USB connection All power windows operate up and down although slow. 228,458 miles which is just getting broken in for these diesels. Seats are in excellent shape with no tears. Drivers seat adjustment handle (plastic part) is broken Tires are great with little wear, comes with four matching hubcap as seen. Brand new windshield with new rubber gasket. Chrome trim re-installed. Solid trunk and floors with no rust found on floors. Original carpet kit shows some wear at the drivers area but the back area is still glued down. Car had a peeling clear coat when I got it so I sanded it down and covered with quality auto paint in matching original metallic color. Paint job is good but not perfect as you can see and feel some orange peel, drivers quality.Drives like an old German sedan, classic ride. Known issues:- starter is acting up every now and then....probably needs replaced or rebuilt at some point - small rust areas on inner rear wheel and some on underside - didn't find any on body.- was in accident at some point in life. Drivers hood hinge is a little bent, non original hood, tops of both front fenders had damage due to accident, they were both repaired but you can still see. - glove box light stays on 24/7. I took the bulb out after it drained the battery....newer battery- drivers door is missing interior door pocket- misc smalls dents as seen- dash has cracks, comes with good matching dash pad Overall this is a VERY clean ride. Fix the few issues and drive it for another 200,000 miles probably.I bought it in Denver and probably saved it from the crusher or a part out. Just thought it deserved a 2nd or 3rd chance in life...Would make nice Sunday driver or daily driver with a little work. It had sat for a few years so a full fluid service would be recommended. Making room for more cars on my bucket list. I have a clean open Colorado title. Like the sedan but really want a coupe....Located in Englewood. We are not the original owner; prior owner stated that this car was mostly garaged. It runs very smooth. Super dependable. No problems. Has a few minor scratches and one small dimple near passenger rear fender. There is a little peeling of clear coat on mirror. Programmable garage door opener. Sunroof does not leak and works great; cup holder stays hidden when closed with cover. Has Bose speaker system and sounds super! Seats, console, carpet in good shape; driver's seat shows a little more wear, but no rips or tears. Front passenger lower door panel is in place but needs to be secured. Auto lock mechanism is a little slow but works. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping costs/arrangements. Title to be transferred upon confirmation of funds and pick up.

I am selling my 1983 Mercedes 300D turbodiesel. Ivory/Tan. Car is in excellent running condition. Good: Runs Well, shifts well, starts well, most electronics and functions are working. New stereo, speakers and working electric antenna. All electric windows work but left rear only works from back window switch. (Needs new front switch I think) Heater works but sometimes needs to be shut off/on to get full heat. Tires are brand new, paint is in great shape. interior has a few tears on the back seat but still really good. Carpet is good, trim is decent . All lights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, washer/motors work fine. Bad: Cruise control does not work, sunroof motor works but needs realignment, greasing etc. Power locks work, but when connected there is a vacuum air leak in the front right door (i think) so it is currently bypassed. Might need a new diff soon as it is making some noise and the brakes may need new pads soon. I may get this done before selling though... This is a great little strong running reliable car. It starts up and drives fine and gets you where you want to go and gets excellent gas mileage. It just needs a few TLC projects done at some point.

Great condition, interior is great shape other than some carpet fading. Car is white over gray, gray interior. Tail light mod (I put additional brake lamps in the available fog light spots). Seals and shift kit for transmission, and new transmission mount. New flex discs. New rear main seal for engine. Boiled out out fuel tank, lined it with RedKote and painted it, new tank screen and tank fuel lines and sender. Tires are almost new. All power features work, including all seat functions, cruise control, automatic climate control, passenger side power mirror, sunroof operates and seals fine. New a/c relay, and fully charged, blows cold. New monovalve kit for the heater. New engine stop valve.This car runs and drives great, and just needs someone to take care of the few paint chips and minor rust spots for it to look like new, I have a paint kit ready to go. Someone just dinged the driver's door in a parking lot, email me for more pictures. Has the original Becker stereo, which sounds great after I replaced the fader switch, but the readout has some incomplete pixels, and I don't know if the cassette deck works since I do not have any cassettes. Since the car was from Florida, the block heater had never been used, so I bought a new cord for that. Battery new last spring. I even fixed the sagging map pockets on the back of the front seats! I am the second owner, the car spent it's life in Florida. This is an opportunity to own a great SDL that has had all of the major issues fixed. Please contact me if you have any questions. I recently drove it 300 miles over the Colorado mountains for a potential buyer to look at it, and got 31 mpg! Car is just over 126,700 miles. The fuel tank was boiled out, and resealed and painted.I have installed e-code headlights and deleted the headlight wipers. I will also provide a car cover.
