We have decided to sell our beloved 1985 300D Mercedes Turbo Diesel that will run all day and all night on diesel or bio-diesel and/or waste vegetable and get 25 to 30 mpg. These cars are known to get over a million miles and this beauty has just 175,000 miles. She has been serviced regularly and is a safe and reliable daily driver. This specific car has been the subject of discussion on many radio shows as well as been featured in News paper articles. Essentially this 300D has been used in the Real Estate Industry. My wife who is the primary driver is an Evergreen award winner meaning, she is a Nationally recognized GREEN realtor. We have owned this vehicle for about 7 years and we purchased it as a promotional tool specifically to run on Diesel and/or Waste vegetable oil that I myself would process from my home. In order for us to use this Mercedes along side a brand new Mercedes we needed to first find the very best 1985 Mercedes 300D available. Obviously we could not drive a well used 25 year old Mercedes Diesel in South Orange County. This vehicle had to be showroom condition and it was.....and still is today! After a very long search we found what we believe to be one of the very best in the country at the time and we found it right here in California. We purchased the Mercedes from a Mercedes Engineer and was carefully covered in dry storage for many years. The rest is history About the car... This 300D is in, close to like new condition, excellent inside and out as well as mechanically. It was repainted 6 years ago, there are no scratches or dings and the paint shines. The roof was showing a flat spot so it was just painted last week by the same shop that we have used for years. There are a couple of tiny blemishes in the paint but I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. Interior is also 9.5+ out of 10, no tears in seats, no splits in the dash, wood trim is exceptional 2 sets of OEM Carpets are included in Black and tan, exceptional. Naturally, The Black set is more practical so the tan set we removed and kept stored. Mechanical New brakes and slotted rotors front and back were just installed about 100 miles ago. Radiator was replaced at 150,000 miles Complete new OEM Mercedes Compressor dryer and AC system installed at 150,0000 AC Blows cold. In addition to the regular Diesel tank, there is a 10 gallon tank in the trunk that takes, Diesel, Vegetable Oil or Bio diesel. The processing equipment comes with the vehicle however you can choose what you would like to run this car on....your choice!.....Recently we just went finished 300 gallons of vegetable oil so we have been filling both the rear tank and the regular gas tank with Diesel for huge fuel range. It is very difficult to describe this car because it is such a beautiful and exceptional example. It really needs to be seen and I can assure you this has to be one of the best 1985 Mercedes 300D on the market today. The price I am asking is very low and it includes all the WVO processing Equipment that I have about $2000 into. There is also over $1000 of work into the vehicle to enable it to run on the optional fuels. "The equipment was installed by a Diesel Engineer in Torrance" This is a car that you can drive and easily maintain for many years to come and still sell for as much or more than you paid for it. Its a no brainer of an investment. The bad!....Its a very short list. there is a loose wire in the harness that runs through the grommet in the drivers side rear passenger door. Therefor the driver and rear right side passenger window is not rolling down. This did happen about 6 years ago and cost $75 to fix. It seems to have come loose again. I have not had time to have it looked at because it was in the paint shop. The rear window tint is starting haze, I believe we were told this would happen eventually when they installed it due to the rear window defroster....I believe was what they told us at the time. The other windows are perfect its just the rear window. This Mercedes has been worked on in the past by Hi-line Mercedes out of Orange, CA and they have told us this is one of the very best they have ever seen. I believe this particular car was loaded with every available option at that time, Automatic Sunroof, Cruise control, etc. Feel free to contact me with questions or more specific photos that you may want taken.. Following is the information on the WVO Equipment.. WVO Waste Vegetable Oil cleaning processing equipment I have here my Custom designed WVO, Waste Vegetable Oil processing equipment. It was designed and built in around 2010 and there was a story on it in the Orange County Register. Here is the link: ocregister.com/articles/oldroyd-328327-car-oil.html There are 2 x insulated 55 gallon drums with drum heaters. The first drum on the right side allows you to pour really nasty vegetable oil and let it settle while the contaminants sink to the bottom where upon there is a waste discharge valve to pour waste from the lower level. If you choose to speed up the process the drum heater will heat the oil very quickly to where it is steaming hot and very fine and again the waste will sink to the bottom very quickly. When the 55 gallons are ready there is a transfer pump on the lower right that will pump the oil into the left side drum. There is a drum heater on the left side drum too. The process is a centrifuge system using centrifugal force similar to the centrifuge on a big rig that cleans the air brake fluids. The centrifuge is powered by a second pump which pulls from the bottom and cycles around and discharges at the top. The second pump can process about 55 gallons in about 25 minutes but in turn it can clean the oil down to just one or two Microns depending how many times you polish or cycle the oil. Typically I will cycle it 4 or 5 times. When the oil is ready we have a 3rd pump which is the middle pump, this pushes the oil through a water separator and then through a final 10 micron sock type filter in the blue canister, through the filter out of the gas pump trigger and hose. The system works beautifully and will polish oil very much finer than a cartridge or filter system. All in all I have around $2000 plus in parts. Everything works flawlessly. This system will process thousands of gallons of fuel with very little maintenance and pay for itself in no time. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE PURCHASED AND SOLD SEVERAL PERSONAL CARS AND MOTORCYCLES ON EBAY SO I AM COMFORTABLE ACCOMODATING A SHIPPER BEINT TO MY LOCATION TO PICK UP VEHICLE AND WVO EQUIPMENT. I MAY CONSIDER SEPERATING THE WVO EQUIPMENT FROM THE VEHICLE IF LOGISTICS IS A BIG ISSUE ANd OR THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT WANTED!... 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series W126 420 500 560 sel Absolutely beautiful condition inside and out King of the road Legendary Mercedes (W126) 300SE. This car has a clean and clear title in hand, Garage kept, non smoker, 1 owner very low miles (90,xxx) well cared for and mechanically sound. Air condition works, brakes and tires are in very good condition, the car just received Major Tune up service. This "machine"as enthusiasts like to call it, has one of the best engines Mercedes has ever engineered, the bullet proof in line 6 cylinder 3.0L drives fantastic, the suspension is tight and sturdy but with that balance/float of the luxury car drive. From inside the cabin you cannot here anything just the road, no clunking, no vibration. All manuals, tools, books, service records are available. The interior is in great condition, and shows minimum to no signs of wear, the seats are firm and the dash is in perfect condition (very hard to find due to CA weather) the carpet, headliner also in great condition. The power sunroof, Windows, power seats and central locks all work as well as every single button in this car. The car also has the factory sound system with its original working radio-cassette and power antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean, has a minor oil leak. Only flaws are some minor scuffs on the front passenger side bumper and fender which you can see in the photos provided, and some very minor pain fading on the trunk, smaller than Dime size, hardly worth noting. The car recently had all fluids checked and serviced (engine, transmission, radiator, etc.) This car is the exact opposite of the typical used car, and is truly a phenomenal machine. This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. 1986 Mercedes S-Class 300SDL with straight-6 turbo diesel engineThis plush sedan lived in Texas from 1992-2005 so has a relatively rust-free body. Garaged from 2005-2015.Cruise control, Reclining rear seats, Power headrests!Rare long body version made only 2 years in the united states.This car is very well preserved. It has always started on the first try. It is not leaking any oil or fluid on my garage floor. It has tires that look like they have 80% or more tread. It drives nicely and I've taken it on a few trips up and down the oregon coast. The fuel gauge doesn't work about 30% of the time until you get moving. The turbo makes nice power from about 2300rpm and above. For a large car it handles very well. Not expensive to insure, its been a fun car to have but I have too many cars. I purchased this from an elderly couple in town who had owned it at least since 1992. I tried to take some good photos so you can see the decent condition of the mats, carpets, doors, body, seats, console, gauges, etc. Please ask any questions you have.

96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is my prized R107 1985 Mercedes 380SL- 040 Black on Palomino leather with 45,000 original miles. I bought the car from the owner’s daughter with 37,000 as he passed away. The car came with the European front end which is very rare to find. Car was purchased here locally in Fort Worth, TX- The original delivery inspection is included from the dealer. The car does have 1 key (sure a 2nd one isn’t hard to get) and all the original books and manuals. Includes Top adjustment tool, antenna lube, extra fuses. The car for the age looks fantastic- the car does need an exterior detail which will get done for sure. Everything I mention- I will take some pictures of to share the extent of it: The paint is all original 110%- but there are some slight chips in driver’s door along edge, as well as right above the wheel on passenger side front, and on the edge of the hardtop where it sits on the car as you will notice in pictures- nothing major, but it is there. The soft top was used about 10 times total and was stored away most of the cars life- I have cleaned it well. The hard top is in fantastic shape- the rear glass has had some heat build-up along the edges and has some red tint to it- the hard part is reach it as it is a closed off space. The light surface scratches I see on the paint can be buffed out. The car will need new some weather-stripping on the door edges as some of it is worn and aged- it is usable though as some had been replaced. The pinstripe has a few spots where it is peeling. The bumper ends have been refinished but are the original that came on the car. All lights function- the third tail light does have a crack along the side of the plastic- very subtle with the black. Antenna works great- I installed the shorter antenna rather than the original tall one- the radio works fantastic. The spare is in new shape and all original tools are back there in the package. Car had new padding installed under the hood. All interior and exterior lights work. The housings for blinkers and fog lights have been replaced. The leather is in fantastic shape has some dry rot on the outside of the driver’s seats and on the armrest in the center as pictured. The carpet does have places where it is fading (please see pics)- but that’s just part of having a car in the Texas heat as there were times my garage was full, but for the most part, the car was inside. The original mats are in the car- there are a few minor stains in the carpet as the pictures show. The door sills on both sides have a light crack. The wood trim is in good shape- at the very bottom by the carpet the trim staple came loose, but it is not noticeable unless you pull it up. Car has new (within 6 months) Brakes and rotors, Brake fluid, windshield washer pump and reservoir cap, air filters, oil and filter as recommended from manual, transmission gasket kit and transmission fluid. All hoses and belts are in fantastic shape as well. The car had a fresh charge of R12 over the summer and blows ice cold- for the first time- I did notice a minor leak in the garage from the compressor- car does still blow cold. I do still have 1 can of R12 I will include. I did not get the compressor changed/rebuilt as I will leave it up to the new owner to swap to new system or not. The air still blows strong. The windshield wipers are new- I did put Bosch ones on- I kept the original as well for new owner. All power accessories work. New front license plate frame included. Tires are at about 80% tread, and wheels were refinished about a year ago so they look brand new. Suspension is in fantastic condition and rides like a dream for age. Battery is about 3 years old- I keep it charged at times I am not driving it. I am not going to lie- I do not drive it enough and part of the reason I am selling it is the wife says it is time for it to be gone since we have kid number 2 on the way. This car is timeless, beautiful and means so much to me- for its age, it shines even with its slight imperfections. I kept this car under my father’s dealers name- I have owned it for about 7 years now. I can sign the title over to buyer once paid for. A car cover is included as well as the top holder which will need to be shipped as it does not fit in the car and is pictured. Up for your consideration and hopeful bid is my 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D Sedan. The car is finished in it's original coat of Astro Silver Metallic, which, in my opinion...shows very well for a 300D. The W123 cars are known for having durable paint, but some clearcoat issues. Most typically on the top surfaces. Thankfully, this car has none of those issues. The paint is original to the car and shows very well. Documented with its' original buyers order, window sticker and maintenance book and a stack of receipts that show this car has always been impeccably maintained. Drive the car for 5 minutes and you will truly understand why. It is a investment quality car.The car also has a perfect CARFAX and Autocheck report. I purchased the car from a pastor down South, who owned it since new. This car came from the South, so rust is a non issue. Typically we see rust in the jacking holes and the front fenders due to poor drainage on these cars. This is a really solid example. The interior on this 300D is in excellent shape, showing no wear on virtually any of the components. The car still sports its' original Becker Radio and cassette player. The interior is MB-Tex which, is super durable. The leather interiors on these cars did not fare too well. Headliner is free of stains, burlwood veneers are all excellent, ect. The running gear on this car is excellent. No noteworthy leaks, fires right up even in the fridgid cold, idles great, turbo spools as it should. No excessive smoke or anything like that. The transmission shifts great, and if you are into W123's you know that these transmissions can candidly be a bit nerve racking to tune properly. No hard 1-2 shift or flaring 2-3 shift that we so commonly see on these cars. The vacuum locks including trunk all work. The HVAC system has been converted to R-134A and has a compatible compressor. Many of the original rubber hoses have been replaced with Mb replacements over the years as this car was maintained with a open checkbook. Full disclosure on the car. There is a small punch list of items that could use some attention. I would typically rectify these items before a sale, but...I have been collecting vintage Mercedes since the mid 90's including 300D's 300TD wagons, 56SL's and Pagodas. I do not have the time to deal with these honestly trivial issues. 1. One rear window needs a switch. It works correctly about 50% of the time2. The antenna needs to be replaced. It is there, but the motor took a dump.3.The battery is about due for replacement because of calendar year, not performance.4. The temp gauge is slightly temperamental, it will randomly read 0. I'm assuming a bad connection.5. Rubber strip on rear bumper could stand to be replaced. 6. Blower motor bearings are starting to dry up, you notice this on a cold day when the grease is hard. I don't want to be a nit picker here just be honest. This is candidly about $300 worth of "minors" that the car could use. Most cars you see on eBay will have a much bigger "punch list", but I like to be clear and transparent. Everything else works on this car, from the tachometer that usually never works to the block heater to the original Becker radio. I have been selling off my collection and know the "real world" prices on these cars. This car is worth every penny. Rare 1991 Mercedes 300D 2.5L l5 turbocharged in beautiful condition inside and out. This car has a clean and clear title in hand, Garage kept, non smoker, very well cared for and mechanically sound. Air condition works, heater works, brakes and tires (Michelin) are in very good condition, the car just received its regular maintenance service, and I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that the car needs. This tank/machine as enthusiasts like to call it, drives fantastic, the suspension is tight and sturdy but with that balance/float of the luxury car drive. From inside the cabin you cannot here anything just the road, no clunking, no vibration. This is the bullet proof engine, the sought after 5 cylinder turbo diesel and it is the taxi cab drivers choice for its incredible durability, excellent mpg, trust and low maintenance costs. All manuals, tools, books are available. The interior is in great condition, and shows minimum to no signs of wear, the seats are firm and the dash is in perfect condition (very hard to find due to CA weather) the carpet, headliner also in great condition. The power sunroof, Windows, power seats and central lock all work as well as every single button in this car. The car also has the factory sound system with its original working radio-cassette and antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean, there are no signs of any leaks. The car recently had all fluids checked and serviced (engine, transmission, radiator, etc.) This car is the exact opposite of the typical used car, and is truly a phenomenal machine. This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. Completely AS-IS~ My 1993 MB wagon a former Florida condo car with 106K when I purchased to which I had added 20K additional miles. The strong & safe MB car was struck on the L front side by hit&run, the front end section suffered, but the engine was still running & rolling, until I braked, turned off engine & the fire dept cut the battery cables. If the car isn't rebuilt, but parted, The interior seats are still wonderfully functional, supportive & intact Palomino MB Tex--I expected to enjoy this car for another 100,000 miles. The electrical harness, upper & lower were replaced within the past 2 years, several upgrades under the hood, several fuses, 4 Michelin tires--it was running so fine, but it's all over now, no battery included. I will accept a $250 deposit within 48 hours with full payment with 7 days. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements & cost.

Nice complete car, good to sport around now, or perfect start for restoration.PROS: Nice straight body, no rust issues, no dents; good leather interior; dashboard and doors in good condition; most everything works, all lights inside and out(including driving lights) cruise control, power windows, power antennae, original stereo; new tires; runs and drives good; very clean inside and out; all new fuel system, Tank, fuel pump, fuel distributor, plugs and wires, all lines; new power steering hoses; removable hard top in good shape.CONS: AC needs new compressor; soft top is missing small side window, needs repaired or replaced; paint is flaking on the hood and trunk lid(paint shines up great, but would need redone to be perfect); chrome trim on trunk lid is pitted; carpet is missing on floorboards behind the seats; small ding(dime size) on chrome front bumper; small ding(half dollar size) on chrome rear bumper.Car is in overall good condition and has been well cared for. I have original owners manual and service record that has been filled out over the years. I also have the dolly to store and move the hard top when not in use. These cars (without issues) regularly sell for $10,000 and up. This is a chance to get a solid classic sports car for a great price. This vintage Mercedes is loads of fun to drive, and will only increase in value while being enjoyed! The car is located in Tampa FL, must pick up, no shipping.

1985 (Last Year) - 300D Turbo Diesel with the very desired and rare Black on TanI have owned many of these and this by far is the best. The Interior is clean with no rips in the seats and the dash has no cracks (very rare)It comes well equipped with Sunroof and Alloy Wheels (not the steel ones which are heavy) and with Power Windows, Cruise control and Fog lights. The best part: This is a true southern car with no rust - I can send you more pictures if needed.Car runs good and comes with car cover and service history records.
