hello i have a 1985 cj8 scrambler this is a pretty rare jeep this is the last year they were made this is 1 of 2015 made in 85 the jeep runs and drives fine drives down highway fine no major issues i bought this as a running driving project to restore it as it was driven i have owned it for 5 years been a lot of fun gets comments where ever it goes jeep has the original 258 inline 6 with a t-5 5 spd manual trans also has a webber 2bbl carb on it new taylor wires new plugs new distrbutor cap new msd coil runs great has a optima red top battery in it jeep has a 4inch 4 wheel drive hardware lift with teraflex revolver shackles jeep sits on 35 12.50 15 bfg mud terrains with dick cepek dc1 wheels also has a smittybuilt xrc8 winch and rugged ridge winch plate the body is decent for the year has rust but it is a survivor and its 30 years old bed floor is very solid has light surface rust NO HOLES! frame is super super solid all body mounts are in great shape FRAME HAS ZERO PATCHES!!!! driver floor has had a pan put in it and has a small hole behind the passenger side seat other than that its solid windshield frame is in poor shape and leaks and has some surface rust but NO HOLES! very very solid and fixable i have spare parts that can go with the jeep as well i have 3 rust free doors i good rust free tailgate 2 fold and tumble rear seats good matching black demin driver seat since one in the jeep is torn up i have the original swing away spare tire carrier good rust free dash brand new in box pro comp rear bumper i also have a built 258 i6 that can go with the jeep if interested the block is punched 30 over and has been smoothed and painted gloss black the motor has all new clevite 77 bearings crank has been turned 10 under and polished bottom end has been plastic gauged to proper spec has new oil pump new rods new 30 over pistons offenhouser 4bbl intake new 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket 2 cylinder heads the stock 258 head and a 4.0 fuel injected head the motor has new crower lifters new comp cams timing chain comp cams 512 lift cam new freeze plugs new complete gasket kit also have a trailer for the jeep not the greatest and is ugly but pulls straight willing to sell just the jeep or everything together unfortunately this jeep must go do not have the time to restore like i wish i did time to let someone else enjoy it as much as i have easiest way to get any questions anwsered is to call me (330)310-3893 if no answer leave a message will get back to you as soon as possible would really prefer for the jeep to be picked up if it must be shipped buyer must pay all shipping i have good clean clear ohio title in hand!!! buyer must have deposit of $500 within 48 hours at end of auction

1971 Jeep CJ-5350 Chevy V8/ 3-speedAvailable for sale is a 1971 CJ-5. This is really an awesome little Jeep. It looks mean, it sounds mean, and it will turn heads anywhere you might take it. The one thing I really love about most Jeeps is they are so simple. Not 10,000 little parts here and there you have to worry about. They are solid, dependable, and a lot of fun. With most cars of this age, the big questions are, what has it had done, and what does it need? Just from the pictures, one can see a lot has gone back in to this one. Except for the hood, the body is entirely fiberglass. No rust concerns. The 350 V8 runs strong and the dual exhaust gives it a nice growl. The 3-speed manual shifts good, and the Jeep locks into 4 wheel drive just like its supposed to. It has on it now, half doors and a bikini top. Included in the auction will be a full soft top and full soft doors for the Jeep. (All of which look like brand new) An 8,000lb rated winch on the front, and the spare tire is a 5th matching rim. This is a nice, rare opportunity to own a nicely redone CJ-5, that hasn't been threw a lot of the off road beating that many Jeeps have seen. *This is not my personal vehicle. I bought it from the builder. He did extensive work to it. Powered by a Kubota turbo diesel out of a skid steer. 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Working 4 wheel drive, pto driven winch, tow bar. Clear Ohio title in my name. Front passenger side wheel seal is leaking and the tires are not safe. I am helping a friend sell one of his completed restoration projects. It is a beautiful 1980 / 1981 CJ5 Which has had a complete mechanical nut and bolt restoration and repainted. The Body and tub are from a 1980 CJ5 and the chassis and drive train are 1981. The engine has had a complete rebuild and is the Jeep 4.2L, 258 Cubic inch, Inline 6. Engine before rebuild had has only 50 miles on the rebuilt engine. Everything under the hood has been redone. All new wiring. New power steering with steering stabilizer. Transmission is also rebuilt and is the Jeep 4 speed Manual. Brakes - All new disc front and Drum on the rear. All components have been replaced or rebuilt. Engine: The Jeep originally came with the 225 cid Odd-Fire V6, however, it has been replaced with a stronger and more efficient Buick 231 cid Turbo V6. The engine was disassembled then machined and built by a local shop in Albany, Oregon called Virgil Hansen Automotive. I had it built to my specs which included a fully balance and blueprinting of the rotating assembly; non-turbo/naturally aspirated with custom flat top pistons that bring up the compression from about 7.8 to 11.25:1. It has a custom Schneider Racing Camshafts cam, lifter, and valve spring kit that was tailored to the specs for the whole vehicle. The engine was the last thing to be built and truly has less than 5,000 miles on it. Drivetrain: 3 speed T14 mated to a Dana/Spicer Model 18 Transfercase with Saturn/Warn All-Range Overdrive unit. Seamless package for even a 3 speed manual, the O/D unit allows you to "split" gears for better economy or towing power when you hit the hills in this beast. 12 Forward Speeds, 4 Reverse Speeds, 2 or 4 wheel drive. Drive train was completely rebuilt 7,247 miles ago. Suspension: All suspension has been modified from stock to allow for greater ground clearance, overall flexibility, and amazing highway manners. Front axle has been upgraded to a Dana 35 with 4.56 gears, Rear axle (Dana 44) has been Rebuilt with 4.56 gears and posi-traction. Rebuilt 11,350 miles ago. Body: The first thing that we tackled with this vehicle was the bodywork and paint. We stripped it down to bare metal and had all the bodywork and paint done at a professional shop in CA. There are scratches in the paint and some small chips on the front. What do you expect though? This is no pavement princess, but it has never been abused. The interior has been replaced with new seats, except for the rear bench. All carpeting has been removed and the entire tub has been rhino-lined. Also includes the original Meyers Hard top which is in amazing condition for a rare piece such as this. The tire carrier on the rear is also a factory option that was kept to complete the package. This was a fully optioned Renegade II, one of only ~550 were ever made. Note the custom exhaust with 2 Flowmaster 40 Series and 1 50 Series Delta Flow to mellow out the high-compression exhaust so you can hear yourself think...
