Selling a very nice 1984 CJ7 Laredo. This is a very special Jeep, and I hate to see it go. This is a special order Garnet and Nutmeg color combination. True collectors know how limited production numbers of this special order combination are out there... not very many. This CJ is a true survivor. All the paint, carpet, interior, etc. is all original. The hood did have a repaint a couple of years ago due to fading. The front fenders have some rock chips and the paint does have some wear. However, keep in mind this is a 33 year old survivor. Overall, this Jeep is in excellent condition. Absolutely zero rust / rot / body repairs ever done to this vehicle. Believe me when I tell you this is a good one! Again, not a pristine, but very very good. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. 4WD engages no problem. All the windows roll up/down perfectly. All gauges are original and still work as they should. Even the clock still works perfectly. Though this Jeep is one of the very best survivors still out there, it is not perfect. The AC is complete and intact, but does not work. Could be something as simple as a fuse or tripped pressure switch, but I never looked in to it. Jeeps are meant to be driven without their tops on! Unfortunately, when I purchased the Jeep, the factory radio did not work. I took it out, bench tested it, and it just didn't work. I brought it to a local electronics repair shop and the guy had no clue what was wrong with it. The radio has been discarded. However, the wiring harness for the radio is complete and uncut. Its still inside the Jeep. The original interior is in excellent condition overall. The driver seat does have a tear on the bottom cushion. This is very common, especially for a vehicle of this age. A seller on eBay sells exact reproduction seat bottoms should you decide to replace it. The passenger seat and rear bench are both in outstanding condition. The window seals will need replacing. No big deal as its an easy job. Also, at some point, the previous owner must have removed or replaced the rear differential cover as it has some green paint on it. Other then these few issues aforementioned, this Jeep is a outstanding. All in all this is an extremely rare, valuable Jeep. The original window sticker and sales invoice come with the Jeep, so that is kind of cool! As you guys have seen, the prices on these just keep going up. I spent about 12 months seeking out a rust free original body Jeep in pretty much all factory unmodified condition. I found many others that while they look nicer, they still have some body, frame, and/or suspension rust. This is a Box A title showing 149k and the Jeep has about 152k on it now. I have enjoyed owing it but its time to let it go and open up a new shop. Again, this is a No rust original body, frame, suspension. Engine starts up easily with only one or two pumps of the pedal and runs good. There are absolutely no leaks from the radiatior, engine, transmission, transfer case, brake lines, fuel lines, or rear end. All tight and trail ready. The Clutch is strong and trans shifts through all the gears with no issues.New Parts: Brake pads/rotors, shoes/drums/hardware, dist cap rotor, wires, filters, coolant flush, custom radiator, rad hose, engine fan, water pump, engine belts. Interior has working lights, Speedometer, odometer, voltage and oil gauge, clock, tachometer, and radio. the transplanted seats are all in good condition and all securely mounted and placed right for seatbelt use. Factory roll bars are covered with padded quality zip up vinyl covers. Floor has all good insluation/carpet. Exterior has working lights. The body was sanded and painted in 1995 due to faded paint. There was NO rust. If you do not understand what a valey original vehicle is - that basically means its spent its whole life in the phoenix valley where there is little rain and near zero humidity year round. the result is a completely rust free vehicle. 1977 JEEP CJ5 ******IN MINT CONDITIONS**** I am listing this Jeep for a friend who is not familiar whit eBay. I am :) This is one of the cleanest classic cars that I’ve seen in a while. It has been professionally restored from ground up. This Jeep has all the bells and whistles. Here is a list of many things done to this Jeep: ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION An amazing 304 AMC 5.0 V8 engine completely rebuilt, equipped with an edelbrock stage one performance kit. New water pump, new alternator, new starter, new ecm, new ignition coil, all new wiring, new fuel pump, new oil pump, new battery, new fuel tank, and new cultch. We have all the receipts for all the parts I just mentioned above. Mechanically, this Jeep runs as good as new. BODY AND PAINT. This Jeep is located in sunny Arizona, and this car has no rust damage. The guys at the body shop sandblasted all the body parts, and gave it a fresh coat of paint. You can see from the pictures of how perfect and shiny the paint is. OTHER NEW PARTS New shocks, new soft top, new upholstery, new headlights, new gauges, new wheels, new tires BF Goodrich all terrain, new pair of rear view mirrors, new taillights, and new aluminized exhaust pipe. Again we have all the receipts for parts here mentioned. PARTS THAT ARE MISSING OR NEED TO BE REPLACED. Seat belts, why? The owner needed to order them by size, and since he was in the process of restoring the vehicle, he never got around to buying them for installation. So the new owner can plan on getting custom ones made, or locate a specific brand for purchase. A fair price for new seat belts is about 100 dollars the pair. Wiper switch, why? Because the owner never replaced them, but they do work and they were also rewired new, and tested out. Windshield, not missing but it has a crack, needs to be replaced. Gauges: gas and temperature - both are not missing but need to be replaced. They will be included new, but not installed, why? We cannot find someone to do that job here in Arizona. For sale is my beautiful early 1971 Jeep cj5. This jeep has just gone through a frame off restoration in my restoration shop. We started with a clean Arizona rust free jeep that the previous owner had started rebuilding. Previous owner had installed the strong dauntless 225 buick odd fire v6, manual transmission and dana 20 transfercase. The front and rear axles were geared to 3.73 to allow highway speeds with ease. I have driven this jeep with out any issue at 70 mph. The engine has a 4 bbl quadrajet carburetor and full length headers with side exhaust. The side exhaust is under the rocker face by several inches making it nearly impossible to burn your leg. The previous owner had also fully boxed in the frame, Installed power steering and installed a cable clutch linkage to improve clutch feel. Once we got the Jeep into my shop we stripped it down to the bare chassis. We installed the current carburetor, brand new drive shaft changed every fluid in the jeep and re sealed the differential covers. We went through the brakes checking all of the hardware, shoes and drums flushed all of the fluid and replaced anything needed. the front brakes have been upgraded to the newer open knuckle axle with larger brakes. The entire chassis was then stripped and painted with a heavy duty coating normally reserved for over the road trucks. This coating is black with a nice semi gloss finish and is hard as nails and impervious to chemicals or road salts. We then dis assembled the entire body and sanded it down. The body had no rust so no rust repair was needed. After sanding the jeep down to remove any old paint and fillers we coated the entire body and all parts with southern polyurethanes epoxy sealer. This seals the body from any future rust. We then did any body work and blocked the jeep to perfection, A second epoxy sealer coat was used before spraying the base coat clear orange. The paint has incredible depth and shine and was color sanded and buffed to the finish you see. We wanted to insulate and protect the tub so we turned to bed liner vets to spray a beautiful thick coat of bed liner on the bottom side of the tub, inside the front and rear fender wells and also the entire interior of the tub. Not only does this look great and protect the tub from rust but it also makes the entire jeep feel tight and rattle free like a new jeep! The front and rear seats were replaced with brand new Smittybilt low backs and the rear seat is a fold and tumble that matches. It folds up tight against the back of the front seats for hauling cargo. the dash has an all new set of electronic programmable gauges including speedometer, tach, coolant temp, oil pressure, voltage and fuel. All new electronic sending units for the gauges were installed. Every rubber part on the jeep has been replaced from the body mounts to the fuel filler to the windshield rubber! The windshield is also brand new with a licensed jeep logo in the corner! Every lens and chrome bezel on the exterior of the jeep are new! The old wiring harness was ditched for a brand new jeep specific harness with modern insulated wiring and a blade style fuse box instead of the old glass fuses. A sony explode stereo has been installed with 2 new speakers under the dash. It sounds great and has a plug in on the front for an mp3 or usb. All of the vintage jeep touches were retained from the swing away tire carrier, the fold down side steps to the smittybilt roll bar! Wheels are also vintage 15x10 slotted mags painted black. Tires are brand new 33x12.5x15 mud terrains and all 5 tires and wheels match. A brand new steering wheel and brand new bikini top wrap up this amazing little jeep. THe engine was treated to a full tune up, an electronic distributor conversion and a massive aluminum racing radiator with an electric fan. The fan is on an automatic temperature switch that cycles it as needed. Included in the sale is a tow bar from the original owner and a brand new in the box set of bestop black soft half doors that are not installed. I decided to allow he new owner to choose if they want them or not. Everything on this jeep works and looks beautiful. It starts nicely even when cold and runs, drives and shifts great. Everywhere I took it when testing I got thumbs ups, compliments and pictures taken. You will not find a nicer little jeep. Truly no nut or bolt has been left unturned. 1972 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Original Arizona survivor! 55,000 original miles! Title says 44,967 "A" title. (For non Arizonians, that is documented, original). Original orange paint with original stickers. Perfect patina! swapped in 360 V8 out of a 1983 "grandma owned" Wagoneer with around 100k miles. At time of install had new timing chain, freeze plugs, plugs, wires, rebuilt Edelbrock 1406 4 BBL carb, Edelbrock Intake, Old School Offenhouser valve covers, New exhaust with a glasspack style muffler. New clutch, pressure plate and HD radiator. Sounds throaty but not to loud, has more than ample power and runs great. I am selling this cool old CJ for a customer of mine. He has 10k invested with documented receipts of $8200.00! not including the cost of the jeep! MANY MANY upgrades, includung AGR steering box, GM tilt steering column, custom pedals and hangers. Bestop high back seats with Pro Armor full harness with a custom welded in bar behind the seats for the shoulder straps. This Jeep has also had rebuilt springs with taller shackles, brand new (5) Mickey Thompson wheels and (5) Goodyear MTR tires. This Renegade has custom front and rear bumpers with a tow bar and wiring. Included with the Jeep is 4 original fender flares, All reciepts and many extra parts. I do restore Jeeps for a living. Occasionally I will help sell Jeeps for select clients. I REALLY love this Jeep, its orginal paint and 360 V8 really make it special. I rarely find Jeeps that have not been repainted or wildly modified. I LOVE the patina and originality. However some things have obviously been changed. Please look at the pictures. The tool box under the passenger seat has been removed and there is rust on the passenger fender right above the V8 logo. There is also some bubbling below the door opening (normal CJ spot) and next to the tail lights (also normal spots). The passenger fender also has some "personality" as does the factory placement of the stickers! GO JEEP! There is plenty of scratches, fading, dings, dints, etc. Again, PLEASE LOOK AT PICS! its ORIGINAL!! and sooo cool. I believe (as does the owner) that the frame may have a slight bend just front of the grill on the passenger rail. The Home made bumper does not sit strait, but is WELDED on. With some time it could be removed. This Jeep is being sold as is no warranty. It has a Clear Arizona tile in the owners name. Again, she does not belong to me. 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Rare Levis edition, original paint, and original stickers! This beauty has 120k original, miles. I just swapped in a low mileage (10-20k) 4 BBL, 360, pulled from a J10. I also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bushing, throwout bearing, clutch bell crank, surfaced flywheel, new radiator, HEI distributor, MSD wires, new hoses, plugs, motor mounts, battery, battery cable, gauges, CD Player, ALL NEW! Ceramic coated fenderwell headers, with new custom made side pipes (she sounds MEAN!!!). Newer gas tank and hoses. I just sprayed in a color matched bedliner over rust free floors. Perfect Levis blue dash pad, Older Levis blue high back seats, 3" racing lap belts, roll cage (lined also), New bikini top, Newer CJ center console. The transmission T-150 3 speed has been rebuilt in the past ( with receipts), Has a swapped in Dana 44 rear with 4:11 gears and a trak-lock, front 30 with 4:11's and a trak-lock, new locking hubs, front and rear drums (power), power steering, 2.5" rancho springs with .5" lift HD shackles. RS9000 Rancho Shocks, (9 pos. adjustable), older 31" BFG's with lots of tread, some sun cracks (Arizona) on correct 5 spoke Renegade wheels. I also installed 1.5" wheel spacers to give it that wide track look (again personal preference). If not your thing, I can remove them before it ships. This Beautiful Cj wears its original paint, Has scratches and dings. The drivers fender showing a previous dent and repair and repaint. please look at the pics, There is a small area of rust begining under the "jeep" on the drivers side. (look at pics). The rear corners have older diamond plate and custom fuel filler and tail lights. I bed lined this with the inside. There does not seem to be any rust behind these, think they were installed when diamond plate corners were ther "rage", i Just liked them better blue. This Jeep runs and drives great. TONS of power, Great side pipe sound, drums brakes stop great, shifts good, TURN KEY AND GO! Only unfinished things are CD player not hooked up (brand new with box and instructions included). there are no speakers, (I did not want to install anything, cut, modify etc) the license plate light will need to be hooked up. The speedo needle does not move, however I did install a new cable. BUT everything is NEW! The Jeep comes with a Bestop Supertop. Its older and windows are yellowed. However all the hardware is there, so hopefully you could just buy a "skin" for it. BUT installed would keep you dry. I do restore Jeeps for a living.
