For sale I'm selling my custom built 1976 jeep cj7. Clear title in hand, This jeep was built in the mid 90's, the original 304 engine was removed and a Chevy 454 motor was installed, The truck was then converted to automatic with a twin stick transfer case. Dana 44 wide track rear was installed in the front of the truck along with a ford 9" rear in the back with 4 wheel disc brakes around the truck. Custom built drive shafts where made, Air locker differential is in the truck and can be activated with a push of the botton. The roll bar is custom built and is also a air tank, the engine has a air compressor which is not currently installed which pumps up pressure in the roll bar to allow the differential to be locked or allow you to add air to the tires after a day at the beach, the truck has b&m shifter, tilt steering column, Jc lights , front bumper lights are currently disconnected, I have a bikini top for the truck but no hardtop or hard doors, the hood has damage where it was not latched properly and hit the window frame, window frame has very minor damage. The truck was sitting in storage for 7 years prior to me driving it this summer, Engine leaks oil I have not had time to look at it and see but I'm guessing it's From the rear main seal, the engine runs great the Trans shifts good, 4x4 engages air locker works, turn signal headlights and dash lights all work, brakes feel good, I would not drive the truck across country but for around town it is a lot of fun, This jeep draws a crowd where ever it goes. The paint is not perfect, front hood has damage from where it flipped up but is still fully operational i was planning on repainting the truck but never got to it. This jeep has had countless dollars and hours invested in its built, the jeep would be a great project or fun truck for the beach. I replaced the oxygen sensor, the EGR valve, the vacuum accumulator and most of the old rotten vacuum hoses so that the emission system would work properly, the vehicle would start properly and would give you the power it's supposed to and still pass emissions in emission testing states.Needless to say most of the belts, fluids and hoses are new and changed regularly.I also have a bunch of CJ-7 accessories which are available separately and I might throw them in if this vehicle sells for a good price. I have an additional wheel center, Cowl seal, front and rear brake pads and all brake hardware, valve cover gasket, k&N filter renewal kit, front and rear differential cover gaskets and new redline fluids, front hub gaskets and Laredo chrome rear bumperettes, original jack and lug wrench with mounting hardware, trailer hitch, a Laredo dash clock, a new gas gauge and lots more.The renegade package adds a lot of features to the standard jeep and includes a larger gas tank a larger number of leaf springs. This vehicle has the heavy duty cooling system with a six bladed fan, fan clutch and fan shroud, lighting for the rear storage area. I also believe that this vehicle has a posi in the rear since both rear tires spin at the same time in any slippery situation.this vehicle looks a little bit better in pictures then it does in person you must study the pictures carefully to see where the rusty spots are on the body. The worst is on the windshield frame. the heater core started to leak recently so I bypassed it but I have a new core for you. the driver side door lock is a little out of alignment so its hard to put a key in it. The low beams stopped working for some reason. The gas gauge stopped working. A new one is included. One power steering pump bolt is broken and needs to be extracted and replaced. The front and rear diff fluids needs to be changed. Fluid and gaskets are included. Some rusty areas on the window frames were epoxied for now. Passenger seat has some tears. I will throw in hi end vinyl repair kit. Couple of bolts needed for rear shackle/ trailer hitch install.
