hello i have a 1985 cj8 scrambler this is a pretty rare jeep this is the last year they were made this is 1 of 2015 made in 85 the jeep runs and drives fine drives down highway fine no major issues i bought this as a running driving project to restore it as it was driven i have owned it for 5 years been a lot of fun gets comments where ever it goes jeep has the original 258 inline 6 with a t-5 5 spd manual trans also has a webber 2bbl carb on it new taylor wires new plugs new distrbutor cap new msd coil runs great has a optima red top battery in it jeep has a 4inch 4 wheel drive hardware lift with teraflex revolver shackles jeep sits on 35 12.50 15 bfg mud terrains with dick cepek dc1 wheels also has a smittybuilt xrc8 winch and rugged ridge winch plate the body is decent for the year has rust but it is a survivor and its 30 years old bed floor is very solid has light surface rust NO HOLES! frame is super super solid all body mounts are in great shape FRAME HAS ZERO PATCHES!!!! driver floor has had a pan put in it and has a small hole behind the passenger side seat other than that its solid windshield frame is in poor shape and leaks and has some surface rust but NO HOLES! very very solid and fixable i have spare parts that can go with the jeep as well i have 3 rust free doors i good rust free tailgate 2 fold and tumble rear seats good matching black demin driver seat since one in the jeep is torn up i have the original swing away spare tire carrier good rust free dash brand new in box pro comp rear bumper i also have a built 258 i6 that can go with the jeep if interested the block is punched 30 over and has been smoothed and painted gloss black the motor has all new clevite 77 bearings crank has been turned 10 under and polished bottom end has been plastic gauged to proper spec has new oil pump new rods new 30 over pistons offenhouser 4bbl intake new 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket 2 cylinder heads the stock 258 head and a 4.0 fuel injected head the motor has new crower lifters new comp cams timing chain comp cams 512 lift cam new freeze plugs new complete gasket kit also have a trailer for the jeep not the greatest and is ugly but pulls straight willing to sell just the jeep or everything together unfortunately this jeep must go do not have the time to restore like i wish i did time to let someone else enjoy it as much as i have easiest way to get any questions anwsered is to call me (330)310-3893 if no answer leave a message will get back to you as soon as possible would really prefer for the jeep to be picked up if it must be shipped buyer must pay all shipping i have good clean clear ohio title in hand!!! buyer must have deposit of $500 within 48 hours at end of auction

FIRST OF ALL...... These pic's do not do justice to the color of this Jeep, In normal subdued light it is exclusively a black & silver metal flake, no other colors apparent but with the sun or bright overhead lights it transforms into a multicolored metal flake: reds, blues, greens, yellow, black and silver flakes, a real beauty that is a high contrast bright and shinny in color - You won't believe the difference from the pic's shown and seeing it in person it's like night and day a real head turner. - - - 1974 Jeep CJ-5 - 304 V-8 engine - Frame off restoration - Driven less than 2,000 miles since restoration - Garage kept since the restoration (never seen snow, rain or mud) - Fiberglass body, doors, fenders, fender flairs etc. (no dents, chips, dings, mares or scratches) - New Seats, front and back - Roll Bar has padded cover - Custom Wheels - KC light bar (connecting wires are there just need to be connected, toggle switches in dash work to control KC light bar, you can light two or four lights separately) - Lots of Stainless Steel - Under carriage exceptionally clean and coated - excellent suspension and shocks - Custom dashboard with new gauges - New Carpets - 57 k original miles (I have the original "yellow" Ohio title from 1974 from the original owner when he transferred the title to his Son who did the restoration 20+ years ago, it shows 55,000 miles on the title at that time and the new odometer has registered less that 2,000 miles since the restoration for a total of less than 57,000 miles total overall - only driven in parades and car shows since restoration - Black, Silver & Multicolored Metal Flake is in the Fiberglass (not painted on) This jeep was meticulously restored by the owner - The negatives = Fuel gauge does not work but separate "trip" odometer can be used to know when to get gas after so many miles have been driven or you can repair it - The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them but.....they are old, they look perfect but as you know tires don't last forever and these are over 20 years old put on at the time of the restoration - last negative is the new seats are bolted to the floor and are not adjustable, the drivers side seat sets extremely close to the steering wheel (almost uncomfortably so), but I'm 5' 9" and weigh 230 and I've gotten use to it and it's not a hindrance after you do get use to it). I have the old seats that could be and would need to be re-upholstered and installed and that should remedy the situation if desired. One other item you'll either like or dislike is the air-brush painting on the back of this Jeep (see the last two pic's) I have a custom spare tire holder that bolts onto the rear trailer hitch base that will hold a spare tire in place that would completely hide the painting from view if you so desire. The painted baby and "jeep, jeep" is a bit much but nothing a spare tire won't hide if you don't like it. I also have an extra set of doors and a bikini top, all the extras I have go with the Jeep to the final bidder. So........ this jeep has less than 2,000 miles on it since the 20+ years ago restoration, it runs great, looks great and is in outstanding condition. This Jeep is exceptional! T90 Trans Dana 18 Transfercase 4x4 works perfect. We recently rebuilt the steering box and the Ross Cam system is about as tight as we could get it! You are looking at a head turning Jeep. It is a 1984 Jeep CJ7 that had a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration a few years ago by a previous owner. It has a rebuilt AMC 360ci motor and rebuilt 727 Torque Flight transmission with a B&M shift kit. It has Chevy 6 lug axles with 12 bolt rear end and Dana 44 front with 4.11 gear. Tires are 35/12.5/15 that have plenty of tread remaining. The paint job is still very nice overall except for a bubble on the passenger fender. It comes with 3 soft tops with one being the new full Best Top as seen in one of the pictures. The interior was recently replaced with new high back seats and fold flat rear seat. The body is very solid with no dents. It has about 15,000 miles on it since the restoration. It has never been off road since restoring and it has been garage kept. This is a 1976 CJ-7 that I bought from a Ford Dealer as a project vehicle. It was a CJ5 originally but through the years was changed to a CJ7.
