This is a 48 willy's being sold with a Bill of sale I took it on trade. It started on gas to the carb. It needs seats, gas tank , all I have seen on eBay and jeep part suppliers for these older jeeps .It starts great no noises, smoking and sounds strong. The frame looks to be nice condition and the running gear looks like someone spent the time to clean and paint at one time .The body looks like they painted over the dents and a ok paint job.needs some loving.

Why not have them both with this very custom 1979 Jeep CJ 7? Yes that's right...a BIG BLOCK in a Jeep! And this one is even a rare Carolina Bigfoot edition! The quality bright red paint job is just what you'd want on your off-roader. When it's this clean it shows off the exceptional condition of the classic Jeep body. When it goes off-road (and you better believe this one will!) the mud, grass, and other earth elements you pick up will vividly contrast against this red. You might often choose a car with a color because it doesn't show dirt, but Jeep people use mud and dirt as a badge of honor, and this one could wear it perfectly. Even without the bold proclamation of "Carolina Bigfoot" on the hood, you'd know this one was up for any task with the rubber flares over the giant tires, massive black brush guard up front, and tubular bumper out back. You're even ready to help get friends out of trouble with the Smittybilt XRC8 remote winch. Jeep interiors are all about function, but this one goes one step further, and it was done right. During the custom build Rhino lining was added to the floor, which really reinforces the nice ability to hose out the interior. The same can be said for the new vinyl seats. The front buckets are comfortable on the trail, and when it's time to go out on the town, they clean up in a snap. You'll appreciate the functional items like the power steering, full instruments, and full custom roll cage setup, but there are also plenty of comfort options, too. They include the AM/FM/CD player, heat/defrost, and full convertible top & doors. As we mentioned, the real treat in this custom Jeep is under the hood. Somehow they were able to shoehorn a freshly rebuilt 454 cubic-inch big-block Chevy V8 in the engine bay. It has even been upgraded with goodies like a Holley Double Pumper 750 CFM carburetor, and Edelbrock performance intake. We love to see these big motors in muscle cars because of their horsepower figures, but in a muscle Jeep like this one, it also will dominate with rock-crawling torque. Helping aid this off-road 4x4 dominator is a four-speed Borg-Warner T-18 transmission, and a two-speed transfer case. This connects to a Dana 30 front end and AMC20 rear axle. The lift kit also gives the suspension plenty travel when it really counts. This is all topped off with General Grabber tires that are engineered to find traction on any surface. This Jeep has such a wicked growl that everyone on the trail will swear you brought along a muscle car. It has the extra power to go anywhere and the cool presence to be a standout everywhere. Finally, quality like this just does not last in our showroom. Thank you for viewing my auction. First let me introduce myself. My name is Adam Brown. Owner/operator of Adam Brown Customs. We are a specialized Jeep shop located in Conover NC about 1 hour north of Charlotte NC. While our niche is in frame up restorations we cater to all your Jeep needs. Please consider us for any project you may have or are considering purchasing. On to the listing. I have for sale a very clean 1985 Jeep CJ7 Renegade with a 258 Inline 6 cylinder and the desirable T176 four speed mated to a Dana 300 Transfercase. Many Jeeps come up for sale with little to no history following them. This Jeep has a decent and simple story. It was purchased new in 1985 in Rhode Island. It was then sold to a German women at approximately 6,000 miles and driven to the Carolina's where it has spent the rest of its time. The Jeep was driven all over the country by her and her son on vacations and daily travels. Sadly the women had passed away and left the Jeep to her son. He was a Mopar man and wanted to pass the Jeep onto a good home for someone else to enjoy. I purchased the Jeep from him with the promise I would bring it back to life while retaining the original character of the CJ.Considering all offers. What's been done:The engine, transmission, transfercase, driveshafts, and gas tank were all removed. The frame and under body was extensively cleaned and degreased. The under body had a light professional undercoat sprayed on. (not the cheap gooey tar stuff). The tub had original undercoat on it otherwise I would have left it in paint. The frame is immaculate and rust free and was sprayed with semi gloss rustoleum. Has an almost frame off appearance underneath. The 258 was place on the engine stand and had the following replaced:Intake and exhaust manifold gasketRear main sealOil pan gasketWater pump and thermostatTiming chainBeltsHosesFuel pumpFuel lineFuel hosesFuel fitersAlternatorStarterClutch, flywheel, throwout bearingCarburetorPower steering pumpCoilDistributorSpark plugsSpark plug wires All hard parts including pulley, brackets, intake and exhaust manifold were media blasted and paintedThe wiring has been gone through and simplified to remove unneeded troublesome computer. The transmission and transfercase were cleaned and degreased down to the metal and primed and paintedThe fuel tank was removed and cleaned inside and out, all lines cleaned out, new hoses and new fuel sender installed. The Jeep presents were for its age but has imperfections and fading on the hood. There was a new Bestop Supertop installedNew BFG All Terrains on factory wheels All gauges and lights including interior under dash lights function properly. Jeep is being sold as is where is. I will assist in shipping. Buyer assumes all cost involved. Thanks for looking Adam Brown828-781-6035 with any questions.

This 1979 CJ5 offers a V8 power, cool colors, and a nice restoration to a largely stock specification, making it fairly rare in its own right, but that doesn't mean it isn't capable of going into some pretty gnarly territory all by itself. The Golden Eagle package dressed up the CJ in great '70s fashion, with bright colors and plenty of decals, and this black and gold one looks fantastic. I wonder if the Jeep designers ever heard from the guys over at Pontiac once this Jeep hit the streets, but I suppose that was the fashion and it's a look that is suddenly very much back in demand. The glossy black paint is modern urethane so it shines up nicely after a day of playing in the dirt, and while Jeeps were never renowned for their fit and finish, this one looks great. The decals are very nicely done, accurately replicating the original look and they didn't skimp, because even the pinstripes were accurately re-created. New black rubber fender flares cover the oversized tires and it includes correct little details like side marker lights, proper Jeep taillights, and a chrome front bumper with an industrial-strength grille guard. There's a matching tubular rear bumper and a pair of diamond-plate steps that make it easy to climb into the tall Jeep cockpit. Recently installed tan seat covers anchor the nicely appointed interior. The same black paint used on the body covers every unfinished interior surface, including the dash, and the floors are covered in plush black carpets, which make the Jeep feel luxurious even in its alfresco state. There's also a stock rear bench for a pair of friends, and the same centrally-located Jeep gauges in the dash that have been a Jeep trademark for decades. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers mounted in special enclosures in the rear seat area and the fat Grant steering wheel feels great in your hands. The 4-speed manual transmission is managed by a Hurst T-handle shifter and both shifters have new boots. Back floor mats give the carpets a bit of protection from dirt and wear, and while there's no top, the padded roll bar looks great and offers protection if worse comes to worst. AMC's reliable 304 cubic inch V8 is all about torque and virtually indestructible, and driving through a 4-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case it will go just about anywhere. It's rare to see a V8 Jeep and it looks great under the hood with fresh engine enamel, a new Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold and air cleaner, and a throaty dual exhaust system that sounds pretty darned good. The brakes have been upgraded with a modern master cylinder. Of course, with a body off restoration, the frame was totally accessible during the build, so it received new satin black paint, undercoating for sound and debris protection, and upgrades like a lift kit and new shocks. The exhaust system uses side pipes, so it has a rather un-traditional V8 rumble, and despite the big tires and lift kit, it actually rides well for such a short wheelbase vehicle. New aluminum wheels are a great choice on a flashy Jeep and wear fat 33.5x14.50R15 Super Swamper off-road radials. Go ahead, have some fun, this Jeep was built for it. Nicely rebuilt with lots of top-shelf gear, it represents perhaps the ultimate way to have fun on four wheels in the great outdoors. Not only can you do both in this 1980 Jeep CJ 7 Golden Eagle, but you also get plenty of cool vintage style thrown into the mix. The Trans Am might have its screaming chicken on the hood, but that can't hold a patriotic candle to the bird that graces the front on a Golden Eagle packaged Jeep. But there's much more to this than just graphics. The Golden Eagle was a top-of-the-line limited edition package on par with the Renegade, except with greater rarity. This classic icon is dressed in dark green metallic paint with Alpaca brown accents and hardtop. It's a classy kind of color combination that looked good coming out of the Toledo factory decades ago, and it still turns heads today. Rubber fender flares add clearance for the oversized tires and give it a macho look. This Jeep also comes with a heavy duty Warn winch in front and a Jamboree rack for extra storage that mounts in the rear. Where most vehicles use chrome for added attention, this Golden Eagle stays true to its name by utilizing gold accents and wheels. Step inside and there are clear indications that this Jeep has led a good life. The interior is fairly original with some nice worthwhile upgrades. Factory bucket seats are still comfortable enough for bouncing around on or off the road, and the floor has nice brown carpeting that feels more polished inside than other CJs, and helps insulate from noise. There's a comfortable center console with cup holders, soft grip steering wheel, and a new AM/FM/CD stereo. The whole interior is in great condition, but of course that's the advantage of having a hardtop and steel doors that seal the cabin from bad weather. But on the days when everything is looking sunny, you can also choose either this CJ 7's included full soft top, or bikini top. Under the hood is the original numbers-matching 258 cubic-inch inline-six motor that has traveled less than 59K miles since new. This is a long established powerplant for Jeep that has proven its reliability and continues to have easy parts availability. Torquey and robust, this is the engine you want pulling through daily traffic, or the worst slop Mother Nature can throw at you. The three-speed automatic feeds the stock two-speed transfer case and seriously beefy axles at both ends. Tall gears and low range give it rock-crawling stability, but thanks to the modern BF Goodrich Mud/Terrain tires, it can cruise easily at highway speeds in high range. In fact with its power steering and power brakes (with discs up front), this CJ 7 is just as comfortable being a city slicker on the weekdays as it is a country climber on the weekends. This is an amazingly correct loaded Jeep. It has been properly taken care of all its life, and we'll even show you the receipts to prove it. For Sale is a nice unrestored original 1980 Jeep CJ7, has original paint and decals which are still good for their age, the engine, transmission is all original as well. This is a three owner jeep with only 98000 miles, runs great, drives good, very tight, all under carriage is in great condition with no rust, the only place on the jeep with rust is on the rear as seen in the photos under the tag and under the gas cap, which is minor and very common for CJ's, floor pans are rust free as well, has the 258. engine with the heavy duty 4 speed transmission, power steering, and is the rare light baby blue color. I do have the original mirrors as well. The top shown in the photos is the only top I have for it. I bought the Jeep about a year ago with the ideal of doing a full restoration on it, but after going over it and checking it out I decided it was just in to good of shape as it was in its original condition as its very hard to find a CJ that is still this much original and still looks and drives this good. It would be very hard to find another original Jeep in this condition. I hate to sell it but I never get time to get it out of the garage and drive it, so I'm going to offer it for sale to someone who could enjoy having a nice original 1980 Jeep CJ7. I do have it listed for sale in other places, so if interested please email me to make an offer.

The jeep is in very good mechanical condition. I had a tune up done about 3 months ago. I drive the jeep at least 5 days a week and never have any problems with it starting or driving, I even drove it to Wilmington from New Bern, and back, cruising at 70mph. Known issues: -Fuel gauge does not work. I have a brand new speedo for it that I never installed. But I've spoken to a few people and they say it is better to just replace the fuel gauge component of the original speedo. -Rust in both rear corners. I have brand new sheet metal for both corners. -Latch for passenger door is broken. Again, I have a replacement for it. -It has a side exhaust on it and the drivers side mount broke last week. I planned on replacing the pipes from the headers back so I haven't worried with fixing it. Additional parts not installed but will be included with sale: -Full disc brake conversion for the front -body lift kit -full tub bedrug kit with heat shields -rear tailgate seal-existing seal is fine but I was going to replace both rear corners and repaint the whole jeep so a new seal seemed like a good idea -waterproof Sony radio -Bimini top -soft half doors -spare tire holder -center console -I think there is more stuff but I can't think what else there is right now. Parts installed in last few years: -steering shaft -dashboard -optima red top battery -rancho 2in suspension lift -rancho rs9000 shocks -new custom made shackles -rollbar pad -lots of little things I can't remember
