This is a very solid 914. It was originally purchased here and has been in NM since 1974. No rust in the doors or rockers like many do. It was a restoration project that was left abandoned about 7 years ago and has sat in a garage in pieces since. It appears complete but I have not taken inventory and will include everything that it came with. I believe it is well worth restoring. All the glass is nice, the doors open and close with ease, most of all, it's just a super straight car! The paint is flaking due to the desert sun but you can see how clean the sheet metal still is. The buckets are surprisingly nice. The dash pad and armrest need a recover. If you were to purchase as a parts machine for your 914 it would prove to be invaluable. I wanted to restore it but decided to build another bug instead. Car is to be picked up by the purchaser within 2 weeks of pay pal payment. It has a clear NM title(not salvage) and keys. I am selling her as-is for parts or restore and all sales are final. Please email with any questions or picture requests. Good Luck!!!

- Selling some vehicles in my collection. This is a 1975 Porsche 914. Car was a California car all of its life, and is extremely solid. Car has always been garaged. Car shows 67k on the odometer which I do not believe to be original. Car was striped down to bare metal and painted Laguna blue in 2007. Paint is in excellent condition and shows extremely well. Body seals replaced including inner / outer door seals, rear trunk seal, front hood seal, engine lid seal, front bulkhead seal and front cowl seals. Front and rear spoilers are new. Front and rear Weltmeister tow hooks. Clips and rubber hooks in the rear trunk that hold the top are new. Fuchs are original and polished. Front turn signal covers are new. All exterior lights work properly including headlights and headlight motors. - Motor was originally a 1.7 which is completely rebuilt. 96mm pistons, heads completely gone through with new valves springs and seats. Heads have been resurfaced and opened up for the pistons for a 2.1 displacement. All new gaskets, a Bosch 70 amp alternator, new 009 Bosch distributor with Mallory electronic ignition. Fuel pump replaced last year. Car has a Melling high volume oil pump, a new oil cooler, and a less than two year old set of Empi IDA's with K&N filters. Car also has a Manta Exhaust system on it with clean functioning heat exchangers. Car has an external oil cooler kit with radiator, pumps, and a thermostat controlled auxiliary fan. Car also has a spin on remote oil filter. Car has a new Optima Gel battery which is too tall for the engine lid water tray to fit, but the car does come with the lid tray. Motor is extremely tight, does not burn oil or leak. - Transmission was completely gone through, new needle cage bearings throughout, all new seals and gaskets, synchro hubs and rings throughout, complete clutch, backup light switch (reverse lights work), ground strap, and a new starter. - Car has been lowered and corner balanced. Front torsion bars are 22mm Weltmeister with 22mm Weltmeister sway bars. Front end has adjustable Koni's, new front rotors (OEM), pads, wheel bearings, A-arm bushings, upper strut mounts, ball joints, master cylinder, SS brake lines, tie rods, and a bump steer kit with alignment. Rear end has new trailing arm bushings, wheel bearings, rotors (OEM), pads, Weltmeister boxed A-arms, Bilstein's, Sport progressive springs, and SS brake lines. Tires are 90 percent. - The interior of the car has a Rennline aluminum floor board, Rennline aluminum pedal set, and a billet aluminum throttle stop. Carpet was completely replaced (OEM cut pile). Momo steering wheel with quick release hub. Rennshift billet shift lever with a billet shift knob and short shift kit. New pedal cluster and shifter bushings. Speedometer, accelerator, and clutch cable replaced (Terry Cable) with new arm bushings. The car had some 5 point harness seats in it which have been removed. The seats in the car are in good shape but not original. Car has the center console with clock, temp gauge, and voltage gauge. Dash is in good shape with no cracks. Door panels are in ok shape but not perfect. Heat works great as does defrost and dash controls. Car has an older Kenwood CD player with corner mount speakers. All interior lights and gauges work properly. Car is an absolute blast to drive. It has just over 7k on it since the restoration and build. It sits right, needs absolutely nothing and is completely turn key. I want to add that the car is extremely tight. There are no rattles, clunks, or noises whatsoever. The car tracks completely straight and and although stiff, rides extremely well. The car stays inside and covered in my shop. I am a long time ebayer and PCA member. This is a really nice 914 that has all of the cool stuff done to it. There are literally over 15k in upgrades alone done to the car. The body is really solid and turns a lot of heads. Clear Virginia title with no liens and a current Virginia inspection. Please email with questions. I have a huge book of documentation on the car with receipts for everything. Bid with confidence. Open to trade considerations, primarily in the market for an 05-07 997. Thanks for looking.

There have been some excellent offers. .. . I will be at the car taking pics of rockers and answering other requests on September 6th.I apologize for not having better pictures.I would probably have accepted offers made, except that the 914-6 wheels are worth quite a bit.Bottom line, the car goes to open auction on September 12th. . .if we don't get high enough offers here.Out of state people, or people who want me to deliver the car should probably email or call me to arrange:828-707-6216Thanks. .. .http://www.clintsandlam.com/#!september-1213/cow6https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jauA4hL59Zc This car has always been a head turner. . .and it has been advertised before. . .but has never been looked at (by anyone). 1975 Porsche 914-2, Twin Webers, extra clean, engine rebuild 12,000 miles ago. Only 84,000 miles on car. All original interior in perfect condition without a single crack. The exterior is re-painted with red and black pin-striping. It has a targa top and chrome wheels with Porche shield. The Porsche 914 was the very last Porsche built by Volkswagen. She's a California no rust car!!! In 1999 When the current owner purchased the car from the original owner, the car was a "Survivor"- the car was in original condition, exterior and interior and the body without any damage or rust. Once the car received it's first paint job and new rubber, in 25 years, it was insured by it's current owner at $22,000, which is what Hagerty Classic Cars valued a 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 Liter at. On August 10, 2007, she was hit in the driver's rear corner causing only some minor body damage. Current owner has all the photos to show the damage, and why he put a 916 tail on her. The market report was done by The Hartford to determine the amount of damage done to the car. The report goes through the car's interior, exterior and mechanical. All the mechanicals received an "exceptional" grade. The interior and exterior received either "above average" or "exceptional". Please note that the report is dated one week AFTER the accident, prior to any repairs. The car, however, is no longer considered a "Survivor" with only one paint job. She now has had two paint jobs, which Hagerty now values at $13,500. The car has a salvage title but not because of anything involving the interior, exterior or mechanical condition.

914 Porsche roughly 85k miles. 1.8 fuel injection. Working odometer. Pink slip in hand.If you are familiar with the history of the 914, you'll be aware of the many flaws the car originally had, plastic fuel lines, fuel pump location causing vapor lock etc etc. All of the original problems have been dealt with as well as many upgrades resulting in a solid, fully sorted car, ready to drive home. The body and paint work were done at a shop specializing in 914s.The fiberglass flares are bonded, with mat,to the fenders inside and out, packed with seam seal and heavily undercoated. All of the seams on the car line up straight and everything opens and closes smoothly. The fiberglass rocker covers, front and rear bumper, and front valance are expertly done. The dupont Imron Alpine White paint was applied perfectly, and I've had people walk across a gas station to compliment just the paint job. The floor of the trunk has been painted with ceramic heat paint to keep from being affected by high temps of muffler and exhaust. The front struts and brakes were sourced from an '83 911SC, then the rotors [front and rear] were sent off for expert cross drilling. A larger 19mm master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines were installed to firm up the brake pedal, and the troublesome rear proportioning valve was replaced with a T, no longer necessary because of the greatly increased stopping power of the much larger, vented and cross drilled front brakes. 21mm torsion bars replaced the stock size to stiffen up the front suspension, along with Bilstein shocks and 180lb adjustable springs to upgrade the back. Turbo tie rods and a bump steer kit round out the steering and suspension mods. The American Eagle racing Fuchs style wheels look great and although not forged, are of very high quality. The interior was completely removed, including the "Dyna mat" covering of the floor. I wanted to be sure there was no rust hiding there [no rust found]. After scraping all of the covering off, the floor was painted with Por 15 [the car restorers friend] putting a rock hard rust proof finish over the bare metal. I then applied new Dyna mat soundproofing to every surface of the floor and rockers, and firewall. That was covered with a thick automotive carpet padding and new high grade custom carpet was installed, along with custom floor mats with Porsche crest finished off the carpet. The seats, door panels, back pad and all trim were done in a buttery smooth black cowhide leather. The door panels, with a map pocket/armrest now on both sides, are covered in a lizard textured cowhide, reminiscent of the basketweave vinyl used originally. The fiberboard backing of the door panels was replaced withCoroplas corrugated plastic, which will never rot,sag or distort. The seat squabs or inserts, were originally covered in hair on calfskin, but wore out quickly and sowere recently replaced with a heavy upolstery fabric with the hair on look. The interior is finished off with a 911 style 5 gauge dash covered in the same smooth leather as the rest of the interior, and the dash face covered in the textured leather. All the gauges work, tach, speedo, fuel, temp, pressure and clock. There is a cylinder head temp gauge in the console along with a few other VDO gauges that aren't hooked up, and there is still an empty slot on the console face, That is a candidate for removing or installing a subwoofer or re purposing in another way. Thanks for looking. The previous owner owned it since 1990 investing his heart and soul in it and I just don't have the time to appreciate it. So looking for another Porsche enthusiast. The odometer is best guess, when I purchased at beginning of year I was told car had about 65k, though odometer read roughly 80k. I can get exact reading of odometer if needed.

Beautiful, amazing little car! Lots of fun driving in the sun with the top in the trunk. Runs extremely well! I had Automobile Atlanta fix it up in 2010 and it has been running perfectly ever since. This car is my "baby" but my wife and I are looking to move, and we need to find a loving home for it. 1975 4 cylinder Porsche 914 Roadster Targa Top2 door, 2-seaterRWD, 5-speed manual1.8L gasoline engine with fuel injectionRed/orange with black leather interior with center consoleI purchased it on 09/11/2004VIN# 4752911308 Tons of photos posted here:http://imgur.com/a/ighpFor here:https://flic.kr/s/aHsk9Wtjvi I have posted a video of the car here:https://youtu.be/qZ1P58Nw5hg Clean and clear title.I have put $6,700 into the car over the years (mostly work done at Auto Atlanta).Rebuilt transmission. New 19 piece clutch kit. Replaced four brake flex lines and flushed brakes. Degreased engine and transmission. Installed turbo tie rod kit. Adjusted valves. Replaced both C.V. axles. New vac line kit. Base gaskets and runner boots. Fabricated block off plate. Removed, straightened, and resealed headers. Leakdown and compression test. All of this was done professionally by Automobile Atlanta in 2010. WOW! It drives and shifts so smooth and awesome!Installed a nice speaker system (new JL Audio XD200/2 200W 2 Ch Amplifier with 6.5” 150W Blaupunkt PCxt652 speakers in very nice custom speaker pods).Car is in great condition and is garage kept. It has either stayed in the garage or had a car cover on it its whole life since I have had it.Starts up nice and easy, and runs great! Never been in an accident since I have had it, doesn't appear as though it has before me either.Shifts nice and smooth, no grinding (Auto Atlanta made sure of this). My wife finds it easier to shift than our 2011 Honda Fit!Never driven in snow.Rust free.Previous owner purchased the car in 1989, and he claimed he put $12k into the car. Heat works really well.Installed a new alternator in 2004.New KYB GR-2 struts installed in front in 2006.Solid motor and transmission mounts installed in 2009.Auto Atlanta did a compression check on the engine and it is strong at 110, 120, 115, and 125.Front end alignment done in 2010.Auto Atlanta did a bunch of work to the car in 2010. I have posted the invoices which list the work they did along with the photos. Tires are old, they need to be replaced. The dash has cracks in it but doesn't necessarily have to be replaced. The driver’s seat adjustment handle is broken. Seat can still be adjusted, it just doesn't have the handle ($15). Clock has stopped in the center console. Odometer no longer works. Odometer recorded 94,486 miles before it stopped working. A/C does not work and did not work when I purchased the car. The previous owner said the A/C worked up until he began a restoration project on the car. I was told by Auto Atlanta that it is not worth trying to get it to work. Offered for sale is a unique and rare period correct Crown Turbocharged 1972 Appearance Group Porsche 914 1.7. Black on Black with 5 genuine Fuch wheels. This could be the black sheep bastard younger brother to the very fine 70 914-6 currently up for auction here on ebay. The potential is here in Spades. This car has some issues that will be described in the condition section below. I will be putting the best offer function up on Sunday, feel free to make a good one time offer if you are interested in this 914. I will sell this car to the highest offer prior to the end time on Tuesday. I have owned this 914 for roughly a year, and will tell you what I know of the history. The car had a early 1990's makeover, including black paint, 911SC rear trim piece, lower rocker trim, Appearance Group front spoiler, crome bumpers (which were blacked out), center console and seats. I believe the car was turbocharged prior to the makeover and it is a very rare 1974 Crown kit with the original documentation as shown. The car has it's original correct EA code engine. I was told from the prior owner that the engine displacement was increased to 2.0 liter when it was rebuilt with the Crown turbocharger. I don't have verification to prove this however. The Crown kit appears to have been professionally installed and includes a Bursch tuned exhaust. The car was converted to 5 lug 911 and from what I was told front 911 front suspension components were added. The rear has upgraded Bilstein gas shocks. Included are 5 period correct genuine 911 6x15j Fuch wheels. The 4 on the car would be correct for this 72 car if it were a true 914-6. They all are dated 7/71 except for the spare which is dated 73. The wheels are in amazing condition with no curb rash. These 5 wheels on their own would fetch $2500-$3000 I was told. It's riding on Pirelli P400 185 65's with less than 100 miles since mounted. The car had a turbotail spoiler on the back which is included but was removed at some point. Condition Mechanical: This car has been off the road for roughly 4 years. Prior to taking ownership, the former owner told me that the car died while idling at a stop light. He was able to restart it and get it home. Then he parked it in his driveway covered until I bought it last year. It was driven regularly until parked. The owner told me he was pretty sure it had an electrical gremlin that caused it but other than changing the fuel pump and a few relays didn't full sort it out parked it covered and stopped driving it. Upon taking ownership I replaced the spark plug wires, plugs and points, put new fuel injectors in it, changed the oil and filter, bought a good used fuel injector computer (2 will be included), put fresh gas in it and got it running and drove it short distances. I also replaced the ignition switch. I never fully sorted it out myself with my limited mechanical ability. I found that it would misfire and backfire and sometimes it would pull strong with the turbo others time it would stall and die. It idled fairly good the times I had it running. I am by no means a Porsche mechanic and this is as far as I got with it. I believe the fuel tank and lines need to be looked at and cleaned out fully and perhaps the valved adjusted. It's been sitting now for about 6 months and I never got back to it. My original plan was to remove the engine, sell the Crown kit (I was offered $1500 for it, probably worth $2000) and put in a Porsche 6 engine to make this a very nice 914-6. At any rate I got short on funds and have parked in my driveway covered since. I believe the wiring should be gone through, especially the fuel injection wiring and back relay board, I think that's where the problem may lie. The throttle cable end came off so it will need a new throttle cable or fixed on the back end. I also bought a bushing kit for the shifter front and back as the shifting was a bit sloppy. The clutch and gears appear fine. The brakes are working but should be renewed I imagine. Body: The cars outward appearance is fantastic! It sits beautifully and many people have commented how nice it is. It appears there was some rust repair done before it was repainted. The passenger side rear jack point needs to be addressed for rust repair. While the car was sitting for 3 years water was trapped on that side from below the battery box and it rusted through that side of the floor pan. I have shown it in the photos the best I can. From what I could tell the car was sitting on un level ground favoring that side and it attacked that side only from what I can tell. I have shown photos with the seats out. The floor pans otherwise appear to be in good shape. That jack point area will need to be fixed since it affects the rigidity of the passenger side seat floor pan. The car sits level to my eye. Looking under the car underside pan looks decent other than some surface rust. Other spots I can see slight rust are a passenger side rear corner of the trunk, a small spot on the front drivers side trunk area down near the spare tire, some bubbling paint areas on the rear trunk lid and small surface bubbles on the hood. The paint is in nice shape, there are blemishes here and there and you can see some slight variation in the paint where the rear whale tail was removed and subsequently painted over. The seats look pretty good. The interior was re carpeted in a black/blue motif that looks very tasteful. The center console has VDO gauges including a boost gauge from a 911 turbo. It has the original banjo steering wheel. The glass is all very good. This car could be considered a very unique, very nice project car with some rare parts. I believe a handy Porsche enthusiast could have this back on the road in no time, either with the original turbocharged engine or a six cylinder dropped in. The car will be sold as is with no guarantees. $1000 non refundable paypal deposit required within 48 hours. I have 4 original 1967 Porsche 912 chrome Lemmerz 15 x 5 1/2 wheels that I can include for $400. I am willing to ship the car worldwide, buyers will have to make all arrangements ahead of time and know what it entails before doing the buy it now. I am willing to store the car for up to 3 weeks, but full payment will need to be made within 5 days. Please be serious if you click on buy it now. It waists everyones time if you don't intend to follow through with the purchase. r>

Up for auction is my 1976 Porsche 914 This was the last year this car was produced in limited numbers making it a sought after model. Drives great, runs great, loads of fun, very responsive, nothing better than taking the targa top off on a sunny day. New carpet, door panels, seat covers, speaker enclosures. Corrected lots of small issues, new thermostat, FI TB gaskets, etc. Rebuilt pedals with brass bushings. Have lots of extra parts, front bumper, targa top, tail light lens, passenger mirror, etc. I drive this car daily when the weather is nice and warm, paint does have some chips, see pix. Very rust free car, nothing in the usual suspect places, hell hole, etc. Looks great at the 10 foot distance. There are a couple of small things still needing done, but I am never done working on project until I think they are perfect. Nothing to stop anyone from enjoying this great looking Porsche! This is the picture link of the PO when he was selling the car, changes are the interior, front bumper, but shows a lot of the car. http://www.flickr.com/photos/60563281@N03/sets/72157626131316971/show/ $500.00 non refundable deposit made within 24 hours by winning bidder through PayPal. 1974 914 Fuel Injected 1.8L w/ Appearance Group. Very original car painted once in the original color of L96D Silver metallic. Rare appearance group includes 5 Alloy Fuchs, center console, and LE valance.  The car has zero rust and there is no evidence of rust repair anywhere on the chassis. The floors are completely original and in very nice condition. The engine and transmission are in the correct date range and are believed to be numbers matching. The passenger side exhaust manifold has recently been replaced. The entirety of the electrical system has been gone through and is completely functional. All bulb, lamps, and bulb holders have been replaced as necessary. The hi/low turn indicator switch and the windshield wiper switch have been replaced with NOS original parts and are functioning perfectly. All gages work properly. The heat works very well. The exterior paint and trim show very well and looks great. The chrome shines nicely and the Alloy wheels are very clean. The interior is completely original and untouched. The driver’s seat shows some signs of wear and there are a few cracks on the dash, but overall the interior is very clean. The glass is completely original and in very nice condition. The engine has recently been tuned and the car is running great.  The 5 speed transmission is smooth and the shifting is easy and does not grind in any gears.  All fluids have been replaced including engine, brakes, and transmission.  The tires are brand new and the car handles very well. Coil over suspension has been replaced in the rear.  The fuel injection is smooth and the engine idles properly. The brakes have recently been bled and the stopping power is good.  Overall this is a great looking daily driver.  I have been commuting in its since I bought it and it has served me very well. There are no known mechanical issues with this car, however, it is sold as is due to it’s age.
