Purchased in 4/10 with 73,753 miles certified on the title, from A-Cars, Inc. in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which is an automotive garage/restorer, as third owner. Car has been in Virginia Beach area its entire life, never experiencing road salt or poor winter road conditions. Car is rust-free. Since I have owned it, this Porsche was always garaged, and only driven in nice weather on back, lonely roads, and never in excessive heat or cold; much time, elbow grease and sweat was put into exterior, with many Meguiar's products. Timing belt/water pump was changed at 72,736 miles in June of 2008, by a previous owner. Timing belt was also changed as precaution in March 2010, along with valve job by A-Cars, Inc., prior to my ownership. Although odometer stopped working in 6/11 with 76,571 miles, my driving has been consistent, with appx. 1500 miles a year, (the miles given at 83,000 are therefore approximate) always only in summer months. New tires were installed 5/12, and only have about 4-5k on them, if that. They are as new. Car has always been faithful, and drives/accelerates/shifts/handles/stops perfectly. Always has passed VA State Inspection and regularly maintained. Many other parts have been purchased/installed by me, from sunroof deflector hinges to battery, CD stereo, speakers, fitted seat covers, spark plug wires, headlights, Cocoa mats, etc. I have kept track/have records of these purchases. Car is not perfect, as it is near 30 years old- has a few dings, cracked dash top, headliner is torn and worn out from age and needs replaced - a couple of small dents on driver side rear quarter panel from a previous owner, and some paint flaws, but it shows beautifully. I even showed it on the green at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Concours, in 7/13. Otherwise, only issues I have would be: slight oil drip on cardboard in my garage, A/C needs charged, clock, rear defroster wires need replaced - and passenger side window will not go up/down from driver's side button, needs new insulation mat under hood, and wheels need paint re-finish. Great candidate for full restoration, as nice 924S models are getting hard to find, or to live out a second life as a track day car! Great condition 1987 Porsche 924S. The 924 S has the body of a 924 and the engine of a 944, so more power in a smaller package. Lots of recent work done including all belts, water pump, motor mounts, alternator and I have all the receipts for work that both I and the previous owner have had done on the car. Interior is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears and leather seats that are pristine and came from a Porsche 968. New Kenwood stereo that picks up a ton of stations and sounds great. The exterior is great as well with no dents in the body and no fading in the paint. Tires still have lots of tread and the wheels are also from a newer Porsche 968. Everything works and it is a fantastic car. I have both a Carfax and Autocheck report on the car. I am asking $7500 for it, as I've put alot of work into it and it is in perfect condition as a daily driver right now.

Up for sale is a classic 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo. 2.0L, 5-speed stick shift, with great 26mpg. If you don't already know, in the four model years of the 924 turbo (79-83), a total of only 6795 were ever exported to the U.S. Please do some internet research on the rarity of this car, and check the NADA blue book yourself to verify it's current value. The price is way below the current blue book price, and you can drive this car home anywhere. This spring, due to the settlement of an estate, we found ourselves proud owners of this garage kept Porsche, that had been Grampa's baby. It has barely been driven in the last 5 or more years, just a few miles each summer, by an aging non-smoking retiree. With winter now upon us, we need the garage space more than we need this extra toy. Accordingly, we have priced the car very reasonably. This car is mechanically sound and very dependable, it does not leak oil, it does not overheat, transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. It always starts right up and drives straight, it both runs and handles like new, and is fun too! The color is gray, with black interior. No rust or dents. The hood is a matte black with the factory turbo scoop. The interior looks great. The seats aren't ripped/torn, door panels are fine, headliner is fine, carpet is like new. It comes with the factory Porsche floor mats too, both are in nice condition. Back seat looks like it's never even been used. All of the options work (clock, pwr windows, pwr mirrors, headlight doors, rear defrost and wiper, pwr antenna, etc.), and all glass is good. The car also has the rare A/C, although it's not blowing cold and could use a recharge. Rear seat folds forward to create larger cargo area. The pull out rear seat cargo screen is in great shape also, like it's rarely ever been pulled out. It has new rear hatch support shocks, so there's no problems with the hatchback staying up. All new front brakes, including both rotors & brake cylinders. Car drives very tight, just like a Porsche should. Car also comes with factory sunroof, that doesn't leak, and even includes the factory sunroof storage case, as seen in pics. The radio is the original Blauplunkt am/fm. The wheels are the higher end, factory custom Porsche rims with very good tread on the tires. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I have 100% LIFETIME feedback as a seller, so no worries here. The pictures should tell it all, but remember that this is a 35 year old car, not a brand new one.
