For Sale Zambezi Green 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 with appearance group package $31,000 3rd owner. Since purchasing my car in 2012 I have done the following: I have rebuilt the original 2.0 engine and bored it up to a 2.3 liter with bigger pistons, cam shaft and all and any parts needed for it. Updated to electronic ignition with exterior oil cooler and fan under rear trunk. The fly wheel, pressure plate and all parts for the clutch are new. The transmission has been rebuilt with synchronizers replaced, seals and shifting bushings are new. My Porsche currently has 82,890 original miles. I bought the car from another Porsche enthusiast who bought my car as a package deal with a 69 911s from a broker who bought it from the original owner. The 75 914 had been sitting in a storage shed for over 20 years, and its registration and license plate stickers last read from 1982. The car originally had 52,000 or so miles on it when I bought it and I had been convinced by a few mechanics that the engine needed to be rebuilt. The engine was rebuilt with European Motor Works, please feel free to speak to George the owner and he will fill you in about any details or questions regarding the engines performance and build specs. (310-644-8038) I fully re-painted the car to its original color L-64 Zambezi green with Martin at Beach Boys Racing in Venice Beach Ca. The engine compartment insulation pad/fire wall pad is new. This is a carbureted engine with new 44 Weber’s. She has all around air shocks (Konies) both front and rear original sway bars and new rear springs. New fuel pump, new starter, all new stainless steel fuel lines, break lines and new hoses. Everything was overhauled. I even had the windshield washer fluid updated to an electric version using the windshield wiper switch. All parts that were suggested were power coated, Ive done everything to the car that an enthusiast would want to have his/her 914 restored to. Most of all the mechanical work and my continued up-keep of the car is through Alex Wong at Precision Tech Motor Sports in Culver City (I highly recommend him for any 914 owner looking for a honest mechanic) 310-822-4566 I only have 2 aftermarket rubber seals on the car purchased from 914 rubber. (Main targa top seal and the trunk seal) The windshield wiper lever was replaced and the bulbs in the dash have been replaced too. I spent a lot of money updating the stereo system to integrate with the original factory installed radio so all is hidden. (Stereo upgrades done through Al-and Edd’s in Santa Monica) amp, crossovers, new speakers and passenger floor sub that is unique and hidden. So you can play the radio through the original radio with modern 4 way sound (not the original 2 way) and also have an auxiliary output cable to use and switch between radio or aux. The car has 5 professionally chromed 2.0 Fuchs and new tires. The car has been my daily driver for the past few years and very reliable and fun to drive. All electricals, everything works on the car with the recent exception of the seatbelt sensor light now working. The car comes with the original 1975 owner’s manual and dealer advertisement broacher’s for the car. (also I have binder of original early 70’s magazines) I backdated the rubber 1975 bumblers to early chrome bumpers w/o the bumperets. I have done so much with this car, re-upholstered the interior in full, added seat warmers, stainless steel heat exchangers, completely re-painted the car at Beach Boys Racing in Venice. (Original shop next door to where Otto’s used to be) I have many collector item parts that come with the car. Currently I have the original 914/6 leather steering wheel and also have a vintage leather Nadi racing wheel and hub that I had on her before. I’m into the car for well over $50k+ (stopped counting) I The dash top is flawless and original, all original window glass is in good condition except once minor freeway chip on the front windshield that had been applied glue some 3 years ago when occurred. There’s many items Ive paid for to have my 914 in her current condition that I have not listed. Ive had such a love hate relationship with her from the beginning as I have invested so much money into getting her to the current condition. Unfortunately due to regular use, there are some minor imperfections from my original overhaul. I do have 2 minor door dings on the passenger side door from other people opening their doors at parking lots and one minor one on the driver’s side door. The dash face vinyl has started to peel and simply needs to have some minor touch ups at a upholstery shop to glue it back in place. The other is the very small freeway stone chip on the windshield glass, and that currently the seatbelt light is not turning on. I am hoping for someone who is in interested in buying my car be in LA as I am unable to drive my 914. I am very happy to go with you to any mechanic to get a PPI inspection, or to have a reputable enthusiast from the 914 world forum arrive to my house and view my car on your behalf. I have had a love hate relationship with my car, from finding her in original condition, and not knowing the financial journey to come and the experiences with sorting for parts, and time and energy spent during lengthy periods of the engine rebuild, to the transmission, to the electricals and many other experiences along the way. A very well cared for 914, clean title in hand and registration is through to August 2017. I am in no rush to sell the car and or interested in low ball offers. If the add is still up the car is for sale, otherwise has sold or I decided to keep it. If interested contact Peter at 323-788-3856 With permission, I am also happy to pass along contact details for 914 reputable enthusiasts who know of my car and can vouch for her condition.

The nicest body and paint on a 914 I have ever seen. Super solid conversion, this car could drive anywhere on the track or the street. This is the best V-8 914 you will find under 50k. I have driven this car as a daily driver for a year, it has no issues and is very fun to drive! Don’t be fooled, these V8 cars are extremely easy to work on and parts are readily available for anything on the car. I am selling my 1974 Porsche 914 1.8 Fuel injection 5 speed in order to upgrade to an exotic. She is a true and honest car, runs straight as arrow on the freeway, starts right up and idles smooth and even and has a lot of pep. Everything works the way they should. The exterior color looks really nice and shiny and the interior as can be seen is really nice and belongs to a car much more expensive that this. She just received an all 4 wheel well rust proofing as precaution. The exhaust is not rusty and looks nice and sounds fantastic. I don't think the spare has ever been used. The registration is good till next october and the car is ready to be enjoyed and is really fun to drive. Handles like a go kart. The only problem area with my car is the dash, which is cracked. We tried a filling remedy but it still shows . I thought of ordering one of those $160 dash recovering kitts that are in the market but don't like the way they look. Or local boat upholstery shop offered to recover it with new material for $250 but he requires the dash to be removed, and I don't want to do it. I highly recommend a physical inspection by you since we all have different opinions. The transportation is the new owners responsibility but I am available to help with logistics. For viewing or questions please contact me at (818)822-8227 Thanks Roger PS: I have been a long term e.bay member with a perfect feedback until earlier this year when a Boston car dealer bought my car way under market value and then tried to black mail me for $4000 and I didn't agree and he gave me a really low feedback score. I guess I learned my lesson how to feal with car dealers. There is no need to lie or cheat and tarnish e.bay reputation, it is for the good of all of us.

This car belongs to a collector. I am not sure what to do with it. one could leave it as is or restore to a certain degree. I do not want to make that decision with this car it is way too rare mess it up. The car is basically 100% except paint and original wheels are not installed. The original wheels come with car. The car has its books, tools, spare(unused) tire, jack and original footrest. The interior is original, no tears or cracks! Seats are extremely nice. I was very careful not mess with the car. No armorall or any other b.s. The car was kept in a dry garage in San Diego. The car drives really, really nice! Pulls nicely, brakes straight and solid, turns nicely with no slop in steering wheel. Suspension is feels right and transmission works as it should. That is a bit vague but no issues with grinding. Runs at the proper temp, gauges work etc. The car is tight. The only driving issue is the idle is a bit low until warm. About 500 rpm cold, needs about 75 imo. 750 rpm warm is perfect. There are the faintest signs of surface rust in 2 or 3 spots. extremely minimal. Again at this point, I have left alone and let the next owner make the decision. The car is too nice me for to drive. Hopefully a real Porsche collector will get this car. p.s. I also have a 75 turbo that is fully restored and nearly perfect for sale.

We are pleased to offer this very clean and well maintained 1976 Porsche 914 2.0 Litre with fuel injection. The exterior color is light Ivory, the interior is Tan Leatherette. The mileage is 58000 which we have been told is original. We purchased this 914 from a lady that had owned the car since 1978. This is a rust free car, all floors, battery tray, trunk and so forth are all rust free. This Porsche also has all original panels and original paint. There are some chips and scratches, but overall this Porsche is in excellent condition for an original 39 year old car. This Porsche has to be one of the most original for sale in the US today. The engine is strong and passed the strict California smog emission test not so long ago. The transmission is good with good syncros, the clutch is new, and was fitted about 6 months and 20 miles ago. The fuel injection system works correctly, all brakes are like new. We have just fitted new tires due to the previous tires being so old. This Porsche is ready to be driven and enjoyed. We had to have the drivers seat bolsters replaced due to cracking at the seams, we also had a new carpet installed due the previous carpet being old and discolored. The dash has a few cracks. Apart from the few thing mentioned the rest of the interior is original. We had the Targa top recovered inside and out. Please view all pictures, we have tried to cover all scratches chips and minor dents. To view or test drive this Porsche 914 2.0 or ask questions, please call 805-929-4444. This is a fully functioning car - rare year/model/options, it is one of the most desirable versions of this type. I have owned since 1996, completely rebuilt in approx 2000/2001 by Otto's in Venice Beach. It has the best of standard factory options with only necessary desired upgrades.Engine and Trans both built by Otto's. Estimated 70Kmiles on rebuild. GA engine case. This is NOT a VW rebuild.5 lug 7" & 8"aluminum wheels (have extra rotors).GT rear-only glass flares.Upgraded large brake cylinder, stainless steel brake lines.Original perfect running D-jet fuel injection system, with mechanical distributor, 3-way fuel pump, etc.Relocated fuel pump to under fuel tank.Fuel tank re-lined in approx 2005 by Einmalig.Bursch exhaust system.Custom brass shifter bushings upgrade.Sony stereo, cd changer, mp3, etcTannoy speakers, custom crossover/ampCenter console with working clock, temp, and voltage.Roof painted to match body.No heater parts. New battery. Euro light package and signaling assembly .This car is fully functional, runs perfect in every way, needs a little attention to be fully restored again. Has been near the beach so minimal light surface rust and a few small spots of exterior body rust needing attention now, but body and battery compartment are not contaminated. Interior is good, seats cushions need some repair. Also have some miscellaneous extra spare parts not worth mentioning.

1975 Porsche 914-2, Twin Webers, extra clean, engine rebuild 12,000 miles ago. Only 84,000 miles on car. All original interior in perfect condition without a single crack. The exterior is re-painted with red and black pin-striping. It has a targa top and chrome wheels with Porche shield. The Porsche 914 was the very last Porsche built by Volkswagen. She's a California no rust car!!! In 1999 When the current owner purchased the car from the original owner, the car was a "Survivor"- the car was in original condition, exterior and interior and the body without any damage or rust. Once the car received it's first paint job and new rubber, in 25 years, it was insured by it's current owner at $22,000, which is what Hagerty Classic Cars valued a 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 Liter at. On August 10, 2007, she was hit in the driver's rear corner causing only some minor body damage. Current owner has all the photos to show the damage, and why he put a 916 tail on her. The market report was done by The Hartford to determine the amount of damage done to the car. The report goes through the car's interior, exterior and mechanical. All the mechanicals received an "exceptional" grade. The interior and exterior received either "above average" or "exceptional". Please note that the report is dated one week AFTER the accident, prior to any repairs. The car, however, is no longer considered a "Survivor" with only one paint job. She now has had two paint jobs, which Hagerty now values at $13,500. The car has a salvage title but not because of anything involving the interior, exterior or mechanical condition.

Very nice California car that was used mainly as a weekend driver. Came out of a recent seven year storage with a complete fuel system cleaning including a tank clean and injectors cleaned and flow tested, new battery, brake service and tune up. Needs nothing but a new home. • Front Weltmeister swaybar with adjustable drop arms. OE rear swaybar • 21mm hollow front torsion bars • 145lbs rear springs • Koni sport shocks • Rear shock tower brace • 911 M front struts and brakes • Turbo tie rods • Mint OE 911 16X6 & 16X7 Fuchs with Bridgestone RE71s • Quaife LSD • Getty/911 dash • Recaro Fittipaldi steering wheel • Recaro seats • Schroth harnesses with a harness bar • Blaupunkt Berlin stereo • Lightened GT engine cover. (will trade out for a stock one if one wants) • Custom one off stainless Borla muffler system with stainless steel heat exchangers. • No rust, never wrecked and always garaged. • Autocross ready, handles like a slot car. • Recently rebuilt engine with Euro-spec pistons. (not sure of the actual mileage on engine but it runs and pulls very strong) • Shifts perfect . . . even in first. One could purchase a lesser 914 for less but they would end up paying way more in the long run to get one as nice as this. I encourage a look and test drive to see how nice this car is.
