As per the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this SC Cabriolet was originally delivered in the highly desirable color combination of Bali Blue on Fawn leather, which it proudly wears today. This car spent it's entire life in the ideal climate of Southern California, and remains an unmolested, straight, rust free car, with it's numbers matching engine and transmission; it was the perfect canvas for the expert nut and bolt restoration performed by model experts 356 West, completed in 2009. Every aspect of the car's appearance indicates that it was expertly and painstakingly restored, and has been driven extremely sparingly and cared for obsessively ever since.  the interior The extremely high quality of the restoration is evident not only in it's appearance, but in it's performance as well; with every single mechanical component having been completely and expertly restored to as new or better, and having been driving sparingly since the completion of the restoration, the car performs as well as it did when it rolled off of the assembly line in 1964 in every manner, and remains a genuinely thrilling car today. During the restoration, this car also received select upgrades which dramatically enhances it's reliability, safety, and comfort. It received 356 West's superlative air conditioning upgrade, which transforms the period-correct Delanair system into something which blows reliable, cold A/C! Along with an upgrade to a 12-volt electrical system, which greatly improves reliability, lighting and safety, and a vintage-look modern stereo, this is a 356 which is equally at home being driven as it is on a top show field. The car presents with just as much presence and quality as the day it was completed. Everything presents as-new. The paint and chrome shines brightly, the leather has no scuffs or creases from use, the carpets are free of dirt or marks, the engine bay is clean and well detailed, and the wheel wells are perfect and chip free. It has two pinhead sized chips in the paint which were touched up, are very difficult to detect, and very difficult to photograph. This car is gorgeous, and truly needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy it, preferably with the top down!
