Great Outlaw Candidate! 1960 356 project! Here is a 1960 Porsche 356 that is a great candidate for an outlaw. It has rust it has filler but is solid where it matters. Everything in the pictures tell the story. It has all of the trim except for the driver side rocker trim. It has two complete doors minus the window crank handles. Solid rear vent windows. It has all four seats that are good solid cores. There are both bumpers and bumper over riders. It has the front sway bar and mounts. (There is NO suspension, Steering or brake system or engine included. There is a 1960 trans case, axles with pinion gear and axle tubes. Upper and lower engine tin, the E-brake lever and lever system is complete with cable. The choke pull looks to be complete. All of the wood floor/door/quarter-panels & rear luggage compartment panel are useable but i would recommend using them for templates to cut new ones. It has a very nice Fuel tank and Fuel cap. All four engine/ trunk hinges are functional. the deck & trunk lids are solid with minimal rust and very usable. The pictures tell the story on the Shell. There is rust & filler but like the title says it is solid ware it needs to be and we have all seen the total swamped out rust buckets that are selling these days. All of the panels with white spray paint on them need repaired and on the exterior all of the black markings surround the areas that need repaired with repair panels or small local patches. Lets be honest this shell would be great for an Outlaw build using 911, modified updated VW or Modern A arm & IRS suspension. You have seen the swamp rat 356s that are being rebuilt these days. 1964 T6 356 GT / Panamerican tribute car. Interior The cars interior has red leather sports seats with three point belts. and matching red trim panels. The steering wheel is a Wood Nardi Signature. The car has grey carpet and cream colored headliner. This car also has a Goldie electric Sun Roof. The instruments and interior are in very good to excellent condition. The car is rear seat and radio delete to save weight. Just the slightest bit of patina that shows the car is to be driven and enjoyed. Exterior The exterior has a two stage silver urethane paint. Racing stripes, fog lights, hood straps, head light grills, Porsche Fuch wheels, and Talbot mirrors complete the GT theme. The floors and longitudes are still original to the car. Mechanicals The motor is a non matching numbers Big Bore Super 90 engine number 806601. Original motor is not available. The gear box is standard 741 that is not original to the car. The car has J pipes with stainless steel sport exhaust. The car has Weber Carburetors with larger jets and emulation tubes. Four wheel disc brakes and Bilstein shock absorbers complete the suspension. Gas tank is standard with electric fuel pump. The car was converted to a 12 volt system. The ride is very fast and smooth for a 356. I have no trouble keeping up with 911s in the canyons. Please see videos below!
