Good condition. Runs well. Bodywork is good, as you can see from the photos, and is a great "driver quality" car. But it's not a show car or a perfect restored car, and up close you will see that the car probably could use a paint job. If you have any doubts, please come and see the car BEFORE bidding. This is a "Limited Edition" special model; only 5,000 were made. Original single downdraft Solex carb and manifold has been replaced with a 2BBL downdraft Weber carb, which greatly improves performance. New Radiator, fuel pump and battery. This is a final sale and the car is being sold As-Is, Where-Is. Please don't ask me to arrange shipping for you. The deposit required of the winning bidder immediately following the sale is non-refundable if the winning bidder does not complete the transaction. This car is priced WELL BELOW MARKET VALUE!!! Please note that the Hagerty Price Guide shows a condition #3, 1979 MGB, (with the Limited Edition package) at $10,100. Where a condition #1 car is the best MGB in the country, (valued at $22,100) and a #4 car is a complete basket case or parts car. Even a #4 car of this year and model is valued at $5,300, but this one is a complete, driving car that would be an excellent basis for a full restoration, or could be driven and enjoyed as-is for years. Certainly a solid #3 car.
