The car runs great and has a weber carb set up for better performance , the paint is mostly original and shows well , the seats ,door panels , carpet and dash are excellent . The underside and original floors and trunk pan are exceptional with no rust . There are a couple small dings in the car and a stress crack on the passenger door by the mirror [ see pics..] This car gets thumbs up everywhere it goes an is a blast to drive . The top needs to be replaced [ $250 online ] The front shocks have been replaced and front end alignment done .Original jack and spare wheel in trunk and exhaust system excellent. Rescued from an estate sale this past August. Last on the road in 1996. Now running with remanufactured carbs, new exhaust, gas tank and rebuilt fuel pump, 5 new tires, battery, a new top and trunk carpeting. The original chrome and paint are in good condition with numerous small touch ups. There is NO rust in the car and the honey gold interior shows only slight discoloring on the driver seat. The dash and windshield are excellent unmarked originals. All instrumentation except for the rpm gauge appears to be functioning properly, the brake cylinders, shoes and brake and clutch masters have all been replaced. The car was Ziebart coated when new, (little yellow plugs and the black coating to the engine bay) the body is excellent. I have a MA title ready to go. I just bought a DB7 and need the space in the garage.

1974 MGB V8 ROADSTER A rare opportunity to own a superbly built with no attention to detail left unnoticed and no expense spared one owner built and owned since conversion completed in 2004 chrome bumper MGB 3.9 Liter fuel injected rover powered V8. This car was a 10 year in the making project starting with a super clean rust free body shell that was completely stripped down of every component and then all body modifications to install a rover v8 undertaken. Next complete media blasting of body shell and re spray with Dupont base coat clear coat and extensive rust proofing performed inside and under all panels. The engine has been completely rebuilt with all new parts and including cam change, ported heads lightened flywheel and the fuel injection system plenum, intake manifold, and trumpets milled down so that engine would fit with out any modifications to the hood. Brakes have been upgraded to front vented rotors and sliding calipers off an Audi 90 and rear vented rotors and sliding calipers incorporating the parking brake off a Ford Thunder bird turbo coupe . Girling remote brake booster added with an adjustable proportioning valve. Front suspension uprated with GT front springs solid LCAB RON HOPKINTON front conversion kit using bilstien shocks and an up rated front sway bar kit. Rear suspension upgrade includes 8.8 narrowed rear end from a Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe with 3.55 posi diff and trac rods with poly urethane bushings composite leaf springs with nylatron mounting pads and bushings and a RON HOPKINTON rear sway bar kit. Transmission Rover 5 speed with hydraulic clutch system and range rover modified drive shaft. Fuel system Rover RV8 fuel tank feeds external fuel pump 3/8 feed line 5/16 return line incorporating before and after fuel filtering and new uprated marron fuel injectors. ECM was rechipped . Tires 195-65-15 Michelin MXV mounted to Honda special order aluminum alloy rims . Interior gray leather and gray wilton wool carpets finished trunk in gray wilton wool power windows and power door locks german mohair canvas RV8 top with matching tonneau cover and boot Car runs extremely well and is quite quick latest project dictates additional funding. Many more add ons and options but list is long. If you have ever wanted an MG V8but did not have the means to build one come take a look at this!

This is my baby I always wanted to get it back on the road. Don't want to see it hurt no more, hope to find that Buyer that wants to restore it! Always love my B and with the summer rolling in, I miss it more. It would make a Great Summer Restoration! it was driven all over New England until the summer of '08! Then the next couple of years I just started and moved it around. Life just didn't give me time to get into it. Then a few years back the alternator died and I took it out to get it fixed, still sitting in the truck, :( I still would like to find the time, but again maybe you do! So that is what it is, SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!

Notice from the photos that this car is outfitted with all the original equipment of the era (smog pump, Zenith carb, catalytic converter, air rail, automatic choke, etc). The only departure from original under the hood is the electric fan kit, which keeps this car nice and cool under all conditions. The Zenith carb is probably not the top choice for performance, so bear in mind that you can squeeze some more horsepower out of this car with some very straight-forward modifications. 1973 MGB import date 1/73, the desirable chrome bumpered car, complete and will need the usual MGB repairs to the rockers, floors, and sills. The colors are Blaze Red with black interior.
