Up for sale is a 1964 MG MGB in need of restoration or used for parts. It is titled 1964 but first sold in 1963 so I am confident it was manufactured in 1963. I have a current clean title and a current non-op registration that cost me $506. I purchased this car from a very disreputable person in the Sacramento area for $2700 that clamed there was little to no rust. Well buyer beware! The floors were gone and so were the rocker panels. The gas tank had a bondo patch in it so needless to say it is no longer with the car. So, it will need floors, rocker panels(complete) a gas tank and general body work to bring it back to life. Needs fuel pump, battery and elbow grease to get it running again. Will also need new glass for the windshield. The car is currently partially disassembled and in my garage. See pics. I can provide additional pictures upon request. This was a father son project that is just too much for us to tackle. This car was originally Old English White with Red Interior. Wheels and tire are in very good condition. Have Tourneau and frame for convertible top. Seats are in decent shape. Will need new carpet. Let me know if you have any questions. This car deserves a full restoration, but would also be a good candidate for a parts car. Car is not running so it would need to be trailered.

For sale a complete 1970 convertible project car. Very workable body. The glass is good The instruments look good (99k miles) The last tags on the car are 1997. The top frame is good The grill is good. The tires are junk The engine compartment is very complete. When it was parked it had a bottom end noise (rod?) The floor board on the passenger side is good, the one on the driver's side is questionable The interior is very rough. Some rust in all the normal places for a mgb. Less on the Driver's side than the passenger's side This is a project with most of the pieces in place. It is not a running car. It is not beautiful. It is a project. The dashboard includes a full set of instruments with bold, simple faces and a traditional British look. Comes with a reasonably-sized trunk with a full-sized spare and jack assembly. With just 1798cc to work with, performance is still quite good given the car's light weight. Combined with the light-shifting 4-speed manual gearbox, it's a delight to run it up and down through the gears, and you can explore the limits of the car's capabilities without endangering everyone else. There's a certain visceral thrill in running this MGB hard, and it rewards with great road manners!   You can't honestly say there are no more bargains in the automotive world when there are cars like this MGB running around. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1974 MGB Roadster, Restored California car This is a very nice MGB that has been in California all its life and there is absolutely no rust anywhere. It still has its original rocker panels, dog legs and all floors. It has had heavy duty undercoating since new. The body is straight and the paint is recent and very nice. There are a couple of tiny blems but overall a very nice job. Color sanded and polished for a great finish in British Racing Green. The engine has been rebuilt and has a few thousand miles only. The previous owner had the car for over 25 years and looked after it well. It drives very nicely and everything works. It starts easily with the manual choke and idles nicely. Oil pressure is a solid 60 lbs. cold and 50 at hot idle. The four speed transmission shifts easily and is smooth. It has a stainless steel exhaust system. The dash is like new. It has an electric cooling fan as required here in CA. The brakes are great and the car stops straight. Tires are good and the Rostyle wheels were just repainted. All the chrome is nice. This the last year for chrome bumpers and it has the nicer dash with ventilation! The interior is very nice in the dark Autumn Leaf color. Carpets are like new. The top is good but there are two small seam splits on the back that don’t affect the fit or seal. The windscreen is brand new. There is a tonneau cover in the trunk along with the original jack in its bag and the tonneau support rods. I took the roll bar out for more room but will reinstall if you wish. This is a very nice driving car that can be used as much as you want. It is a pleasure to drive at any speed and feels rock solid on the road. A long term caring owner kept it ready to go! The car is much nicer in reality than my photos show. You will not be disappointed! Feel free to email for more pictures. I have the car advertised elsewhere and reserve the right to remove it from ebay.

Purchased new by my Father in Cleveland Ohio and was immediately driven to California in 1976 and has remained in the family for the past 40 years. Has original 57,693 miles and has been treasured by the family with no accidents and original paint. Maintenance has just been performed on the vehicle and new tires installed on the wire wheels. Car has been lowered with lowering kit from Moss Motors and has the factory luggage rack. Vehicle runs well, just passed CA smog and is registered until June 2016. Sale includes 3 boxes of new and used parts and fiberglass Parish Plastics hardtop. Also comes with a Monza exhaust, Quick Trip Header, single Weber Carburetor which are not installed but fully functional as well as a shop manual. I grew up and learned to drive in this car and love it, but I’ve decided it is time that I let go of my Father’s memories and give it up to someone who truly appreciates these cars as I have very different tastes in automobiles. Vehicle is located in Irvine, CA. You can pick up locally or I can assist you to ship anywhere (transport expenses to be paid by Buyer).

Up for sale is a Unique and very interesting MGB. I have owned this car for several years and about 2 years ago I decided to restore it and make it stand out from the crowd. I have always liked the MGB factory race cars from the 1960s so I built this MGB to resemble them. I built the car mainly for street use but with enough modifications for autocross and club use also. The MG has a full interior, sound insulation, a modern stereo, overdrive transmission and uprated suspension and drivetrain built for touring. I find it best to describe the car in sections, as listed below. Body- The MG has spent its entire life in California as can be seen by its vintage California blue license plate, so the body is in rust free condition. When I bought the car several years ago I replaced the front foot wells with factory correct replacements as there was some rust due to the water puddling from a bad soft top. Apart from that no other repairs were needed. The body is very straight with no dents and very good panel fit. The bonnet (hood) is a lightweight aluminium one from an earlier car. I welded in the US spec side lights to give it a pre 1968 look. It also has an early grill and taillights. The front valence is a Sebring style with vents for the under valence oil cooler and brake ducts. The bonnet has the Le Mans leather strap and front mounted release. The Sebring headlight covers are easily removed for cleaning On the rear of the car I removed the overriders and mounted a battery cut off switch in the reverse light hole, no cutting was needed and the car comes with a spare reverse light assembly if you wish to move the cut off switch to the trunk The rear bumper is in excellent condition. I have the front bumper assembly if required. The windshield seal, door seals and side glass seals are new. The glass is in good condition and the windows wind up and down easily. The MG has period correct enamel union jack flag , Castrol oil, an BMC rosette on each side of the car. The car is finished in a Glossy British Racing Green polyurethane paint and looks new. Drivetrain - The engine has been rebuilt and has about 800 miles on it. It has about 70lbs of oil pressure(see photo) and runs cool. All the coolant hoses were replaced as was the water pump, heater valve and the radiator was refurbished. The clutch including a heavy duty throw out bearing, starter motor, alternator, and clutch hydraulics were replaced at the same time. The car has a new crane electronic ignition. The gearbox is an overdrive model and works great (overdrive switch on right side steering column stalk) which makes freeway driving more comfortable. The engine has a exhaust header and low restriction exhaust and a Dellorto side draught carburetor ( the original SU carbs, manifold, air filters come with the car) with a fuel pressure regulator and modern electric fuel pump. The oil cooler has been moved to under the front apron(see photo) and an electric cooling fan has been added. The engine also has a modern spin on oil filter conversion. I also installed a modern inertia fuel cut off switch in the trunk(see photo) This cuts off the fuel supply in event of an accident and is easily reset with a touch of the button. Suspension and brakes - The car has all new brakes including steel braided flexible brake lines, drilled front rotors, new GT rear wheel cylinders, rear shoes, rebuilt front calipers with new pistons and EBC red stuff brake pads(see photo) it stops very well! The rear suspension has new poly bushings and a tube shock conversion. The front suspension has poly upper bushings, V8 lower bushings, MGBGT front coil springs and a 7/8 high performance front sway bar. The wire wheels are upgraded from 14 inch 60 spoke to 15 inch 72 spokes for greater strength and modern tire choices. The tires are Goodyear Eagles 195/60 15 and are in as new condition. All this results in a great handling MGB. Interior - The interior is in very good condition . The dashboard is new as is the center console. The factory steering wheel has a leather wrap and the shift knob is also leather. There is a new Alpine am/fm CD with Ipod hook up powering two new Kenwood speakers. The cigarette lighter has been replaced with a 12volt outlet to charge a device. The car also has a freshly painted gloss black 4 point roll bar and two new 4 point seat belts with a standard buckle for ease of use. The car comes with an original jack and wheel knock off tool. ELECTRICAL- The original harness was in great shape so it was not replaced. The alternator is new. All the gauges work as do the wipers, turn signals, hazards, horn, brake and running lights. It has new halogen headlamps for safer night driving and new rear taillight lenses. The MG has no electrical issues. Top - The MG has two tops, a newer soft top with a zip out rear window and a vintage factory style Snugtop hardtop.(see photo) I have restored many British cars over the years, several to concours standards. I also own a classic Limousine service and restored the fleet myself(http://royalcoachlimo.com/) This MGB was restored to a local show winner standard and is probably nicer than 90 percent of the MGBs on the market today. The MG comes with a file folder of receipts of the restoration totaling thousands of dollars. Please look at the photos carefully to see condition or feel free to come and view it or have it inspected. Please call me(Simon@ 559 349 3109) or Email me with any questions before bidding, thanks. Ebayers with less than 2 positive feedbacks contact me before bidding or your bid will be retracted.

1974 MGB Convertible For sale is my 1974 MGB. This car is in wonderful condition both mechanically and aesthetically. It starts and runs great and doesn’t require California annual smog tests. The factory Bracken (light orange) paint is relatively new as is the black top and Autumn Leaf (brown & tan) interior. This was the last year for chrome bumpers before MG went to the large rubber bumpers. The engine is an 1800 cc with 5 main bearings and a fully synchromesh gearbox. Everything works as it should including all lights and dash gauges. The car comes with 2 tops, a black folding top and a black fiberglass hardtop. For summer months leave the soft top in place and when it turns chilly or cold put the hardtop on. This is a fun car to drive! $9,500.00 or make offer Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

I have a 1964 mgb roadster that was restored by my father and brother some years ago. The car is in very good condition with no rust. The car was used in a photo shoot for a book by the British comedian Tracy Ullman called Knit 2 Together in 2006. The car has a spin on oil filter and a weber down draft carburetor . Also I added braded stainless steed hoses for the oil cooler along with a sport coil. I also added a aluminum valve cover. I removed all of the smog equipment but I still have if you want to reinstall it. This is a very nice car but it does have some chips and small imperfections on the paint but cleans up very nice as you can see. I reserve the right to end the auction early because the car is also listed locally. If you live locally I would encourage you to come see the car in person. THERE IS NO WARRANTY EITHER EXPRSSED OR IMPLIED... Ad Read more: eles.ebayclassifieds.com/classic-cars/camarillo/1964-mgb-roadster-clam-shell-door-handle/?ad=4071http://losang3373#ixzz3idkMUnQH
