Very nice mostly all original, MGB, 5 wire wheels, newly rewired, with new wire loom, new Carburetor, new fuel Pump, has a soft top, and a Tonneau, cover as well. the slightly bad, is it has a few paint chips down the drivers side, from someone opening there door on the side of this, car in a garage, that can be flared in and repaired, and a small tear on the top, however on the side , of the top, not on the top itself. also has the otigianl owners manual, and a repair book, as well as several receipts, from the repairs, and new parts described above. Ths car was driven mostly on weekends, and should be no problem driving home wherever. thanks for looking. anything further please ask.

Pampered and babied by 3 owners from new, the car has always been kept garaged and used on sunny summer days only. Everything is in mint condition on this car, the paint, interior, top, brightwork, there are really no flwas to point out here, just just a great well kept car. Fitted with larger 15" wheels, radial tires, and a mahogany dash, the car is a great handling machine ready to be pressed into immediate service. Service records and all tools accompany the car as well as tonneau cover, top boot, and nice windscreen so your spouse doesn't get her hair messed up on high speed drives. If you are looking for one of the best MGBs you can find, look no further! We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top roadster from 1962 until 1980. Variants include the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé (1965–74), the six-cylinder roadster and coupé MGC (1967–69), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973–76). Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980, achieving sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined of 523,836 cars. In structure the MGB was an innovative, modern design in 1962, utilizing a monocoque structure instead of the traditional body-on-frame construction used on both the MGA and MG T-types and the MGB's rival, the Triumph TR series. However components such as brakes and suspension were developments of the earlier 1955 MGA with the B-Series engine having its origins in 1947. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs while adding to overall vehicle strength. Wind-up windows were standard, and a comfortable driver's compartment offered plenty of legroom. A parcel shelf was fitted behind the seats. The MGB achieved a 0–60 mph time of just over 11 seconds. The 3-bearing 1798 cc B-Series engine produced 95 hp at 5,400 rpm — upgraded in October 1964 to a five-bearing crankshaft. The majority of MGBs were exported to the United States. In 1975 US-market MGB engines were de-tuned to meet emission standards, ride height was increased by an inch , and distinctive rubber bumpers were fitted to meet bumper standards. The MGB was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30 mph impact with an immovable barrier. NEW UPDATED INFO AT BOTTOM OF LIST 7-13-15 Stored for 17 years Some rust on rocker panels 1974 bumpers 500 miles on tires Original interior in decent condition New fuel pump, starter, ignition, and water pump All gauges work Runs and drives Local pick up only Serious buyers only Please contact me with further questions, if something in my listing doesn't look right, please contact me so I can verify 100% accuracy I am not the original owner, but am selling it for a friend's dad, and he is available for specific questions, please contact me for more info Car is also for sale locally, so listing can end at any time If you would like to view the car before placing an offer, contact me to set up a meeting, zip code 46766, so you have an idea where it is located Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, no warranty is implied -The drivers side has rust on the lower rocker panels-The engine idles at the correct rpm - Their is no blow by coming from the engine - the compression was at the correct compression and all within a two lbs - the clutch is good and strong - The engine starts and runs well except the oil pressure is between 20-50 psi. - Transmission shifts great and fluid was changed before we drove it on the street - The engine and engine compartment has the chrome package and has not been cleaned or painted. We replaced all gaskets in motor except head gasket - over $2400,00 was spent on parts from the gas tank to new tires, water pump, starter, electronic ignition, clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, all hoses, battery, ignition wires, spark plugs. I have taken several short trips 30-40 miles, and always made it home. The worst thing about the car is the paint. It has been painted at least three times over its life, and I am not a body and fender man so I didn't attempt to hide the rust under trim on the rocker and wanted it to represent what it really is. I hope who ever purchases it, will finish it and give it a great home! -It is a 1970 MGBGT according to Serial number and the DMV. - I do not have the chrome bumpers. The bumpers were on the car when our family purchased it in the early 90's.

I bought this car over the winter as a fun little project to work on. Now that the weather has warmed up I have tons of other projects that need to get done (roof on the house, remodeling, etc). I dont really have time and need the money so the car has to go.About the car: Nice Paint (original?) Nice chrome. Very nice rims and almost new tires. Undercoated many years ago and is now starting to flake off. Actual mileage unknown. What I have done over the past five months: Interior: New front and rear seat upholstery. NEW FOAM and WEBBING as well...look and feel like new. Matching arm rest. New carpet. New stereo (pioneer w/bluetooth) and speakers. Engine: Cleaned and Rebuilt carbs (master rebuild kit). New exhaust rings (fixed exhaust leak). New side "tappet" cover (replaced the old leaky kind). Adjusted valves. New silicone valve cover gasket (replaced the very old cork gasket). New spark plugs. Valve adjustment.Exterior: Polish and wax paint. There are some rust spots that are under the paint but no flaking or crumbling. Took pictures of most paint flaws prior to polish and wax so you can know what to expect.I finished the install of interior a few weeks ago and have only driven around town and to work a few times. Starts, drives and runs well. I get a lot of looks and several people have approached me in parking lots to complement and ask questions about it. Not a show car but is a very respectable daily driver IMO.There are a few things still to do if I have time to get around to them. If not, you can do easily yourself.1. Re-Install seat belts2. Install 13 inch Moto Lita Steering wheel (already purchased)3. New door cards (NOT purchased yet) Comes with two sets of keys and some left over gaskets and Haynes repair manual. I have put a couple thousand $ into improvements and quite a few hours of work. I would personally value this car at around $7K but I know you never get what you think. Make an offer. Glad to answer any questions. Would like to sell soon, make an offer.
