Original California car and is an early, low serial # MGB with highly desirable pull handle doors. It retains early classic looks while having upgrades for drivability and convenience such as a full synchronized transmission, five main bearing engine, and 12 volt negative ground conversion. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with white piping, the car shows well, drives and stops great! This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice correct vinyl top with 2 piece top bows. Has tonneau bows and 1/2 tonneau cover too. All electrical and mechanical systems work as they should. All gauges work, and car has been thoroughly checked. Paint is very nice but has a few small bubbles near the windshield mounts. This is common for this car and they have been there for 10 years according to previous owner. Barely noticeable. Owner is Pittsburgh MG Club and NAMGAR Club Member. Car features: · Engine (5 main bearing later model) · New Tourist Trophy Stainless Header and Performance exhaust · New Rear brakes and axle seals · Mini Light 15" wheels/ 165 R15 tires · Negative camber wishbone arms for better turn-in (have original wishbones and springs included in sale) · Ignition Kill Switch · MOMO steering wheel · Short throw shifter/MOMO Knob · K&N filter Kit · 7/8" front sway bar · Brake Master cylinder replaced recently · Painted Calipers and drums · Slotted/drilled brake rotors · Braided Stainless Brake, and clutch Lines · Porterfield Brake pads · New Polyurethane bushings (upper, lower a-arm) Lighting/electric: · Headlights converted to H4 Hella Halogen · Fog lights -- PIAA 910 series Driving Lights (VERY bright) · Single 12V Negative Ground battery conversion · 80 amp Alternator conversion · Period correct AM/FM Radio and original speaker has Power antenna

Pictured is my 1978 MGB Convertible. I bought this car from a gentleman who had purchased it in 2005, and rebuilt the entire car from the wheels up. Original color was white. It was painted by him with Miata Red. I have all of his receipts for the car rebuild, as well as many of the original parts and manuals that he used for the rebuild. The car has been driven up to the beginning of August. It was due for inspection, and as it was over at the garage for the inspection. They moved it one day, and the clutch went. So ultimately it needs a new clutch before it can be driven, and / or inspected. We do not have the time for the car anymore. It needs a home with someone that has the time to spend on keeping it up to its former glory. I no longer have a garage for the car, which will force it to be stored outside. I don't think that is fair to the car.I feel it is in very good condition, for its age. It has a few areas of rust coming through above the wheel and at the seams, but all in all it has been totally redone, and remains clean. This vehicle is for pickup only, and will require a trailer to flatbed. I am requiring a 1000.00 downpayment from the winning buyer through Paypal.New Zip window top 1/2 zip flat coverBoot top cover Lukas350 store

A Beautiful Red 1971 MGB Roadster with Black Interior. LOW RESERVE : Bid with confidence and if you have any questions, please email and ask. (I am using my new Ebay account to sell this car. For over 10 years I have used my wife's ebay account (ZASAKUNI) which you will see has 100% Positive feed back. ) This MGB is an excellent car with a lots of originality which you can drive as it is or with little TLC make it a high dollar car. I was intending to change the carpet, seat covers and door panels and sell for a lot more but decided to sell as is so that the new owner can get it at a good base price and then gradually make it perfect to his standards. Truly a very good investment as these chrome bumper cars are getting scarce and going up in value real fast. The only reason I am selling this is because I have another 1972 B as well which I have already restored and is my driver for the pleasant winter in Arizona. THE GOOD Runs and drives great. Very fast and strong. The paint is nice 7/10? The car was originally British Racing Green. Low miles (title and odometer shows 64000) Early Chrome Bumper British Sports Car Correct and original 4 cyl, 1800 cc (1.8 litre) , Dual Carburetor, 4 speed Manual, Rear Wheel Drive, Convertible Wire Wheels with good rubber. (I have a spare wheel but no tire on it.) This California car is very clean. Rust free with the exception of some surface rust under the carpet due to water retention under the carpet. The 4 speed manual transmission and the 1800 cc motor are original in excellent condition with perfect compression and oil pressure. The brakes and clutch work well and so does all the electrical. The dash is in very nice original condition. The chrome all around is original and good with no denting or rusting. Good glass all around. Doors , trunk, bonnet and all panels fit perfect. Full and Half Tonneau Covers - good condition. THE NOT SO GOOD, YET CONVEYS INTEGRITY & ORIGINALITY Upholstery is still the factory original. It is rare to find original upholstery and interior these days and hence I have not changed it to show the integrity of the car. The carpet too is original with correct mohair base but will need replacement. Original factory Soft top still on the car, never replaced. windshield to body weather strip is dried and will need replaced. Typical Surface rust under the carpet due to moisture retention. Shipping world wide at buyers expense. The buying price will be Ex Phoenix, Arizona Seller reserves the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is also advertised locally.

Finding a SOLID MG - MGB is hit and miss. Most have had MANY OWNERS... and are worn out..meaning an entire restoration would be needed to have something you can depend on. This car has been well taken care of since 1980. When we checked under the carpets.. looking for rust.. none was there... when we looked under the bottom... nothing more than my Mercedes Benz. It had an oil leak.. but we had the engine completely checked out and went ahead & had gaskets, seals etc replaced. The car sits very solid. No leaning.  When driving... you can go a mile down the road in a straight line without touching the steering wheel. This car has not even been washed since I've owned it for just over a year. I NEVER got it out in the rain... and always just wiped it down to get any dust off of it when I would park it in my 2 story shop/garage. Attached are photos that will give you a decent sense of the condition of the car. The ONLY things I would do to this car might be replacing the back carpet.. and possibly having the drivers seat reupolstered as it has some cracked spots. These seats are covered with car seat covers that match the interior so I haven't changed a thing. I would also go ahead & put on the new windshield gasket.. but it's included with the car. New Battery (with Battery Tender) New AM/FM/ CD Player with Remote Control & USB port for iPhone etc.. (4) NEW Tires Convertible Top = EXCELLENT Condition Cockpit Cover   =  EXCELLENT Condition Complete Original Tool Kit Include Wire Wheel Tool, Lead Mallet  etc. Fairly New Carpet New MG Floor Mats = Excellent Condition Fresh Engine Tune-up By European Motorworks.. Car will come with a box of accessories and New parts that were purchased for the car.. including an MGB Paint Stripe Kit The Title I have is CLEAR and supposedly from the 3rd owner of the car. You'll see and feel that the car only has 31,000 miles. NADA Says Car Originally Sold for $7,950 in 1980. NADA Says LOW Retail = $5,850 NADA Says AVG Retail = $10,600 NADA Says HIGH Retail = $22,800 ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY..

This MGB was brought in from California and is an early, low serial # MGB with highly desirable pull handle doors. It retains early classic looks while having upgrades for drivability and convenience such as a full synchronized transmission, five main bearing engine, and 12 volt negative ground conversion. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with white piping, the car shows well, and looks as great going down the road as sitting in your garage! This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice custom made Caribou canvas top that looks MUCH better than many of the vinyl tops more commonly found. The car runs great, and drives well too! Also, it looks great in British Racing Green. also, includes a fiber glass hardtop in White. Makes a nice accent and adds to the value of the car. Car Number is GHN3L 14698 with a 4 speed synchronized transmission. Engine number is 18V890AEL005008. The engine and transmission are from A 1980. The car is very nice, not a number 1 show car, but presents itself very well. The paint is very good and shines great. There are a few nicks a scratches as you can see in the pictures, but still very nice. Also has a few bubbles on the top cowl, but according to previous owner they have been there for many years and not getting any larger. The engine bay has been detailed and presents well. The under carriage is nice with no rust. The Stainless steel Trophy exhaust sounds great. Existing features: Stereo · Denon DCT950r (installed but not connected) · Infinity Kappa uniplane 6.5's (installed) Performance features: · Engine (5 main bearing later model) rebuild ~20,000 miles ago · New Tourist Trophy Polished Stainless Headers back exhaust · Brand new 165 R 15 tires and Mini Light Wheels (15" ) · New Rear Brake and Axle Seals/tires · Negative camber wishbone arms for better turn-in (also included is the original wishbone arms and springs) · Custom Roll Bar · 5pt racing harnesses seat belts · Ignition Kill Switch · MOMO steering wheel · Short throw shifter/MOMO Knob · K&N filter Kit · 7/8" front sway bar · New Brake Master cylinder · Painted Calipers and drums · Slotted/drilled brake rotors · Braided Stainless Brake, and clutch Lines · Porterfield Brake pads · Polyurethane bushings (upper, lower a-arm) Lighting/electric: · Headlights converted to H4 Hella Halogen · Fog lights -- PIAA 910 series Driving Lights (VERY bright) and Running Lights · Single 12V Negative Ground battery conversion · 80 amp Alternator conversion · Ballasted ignition conversion · Power antenna All Gauges work (fuel, oil pressure, water temperature) Main Tachometer does not currently Function, but there is an alternate tachometer that works in the console Speedometer works but is a little high on the speed. Example reads 70 MPH and actual speed is 55 MPH Other: · After market Fan Shroud which improves cooling and Paddy Hopkirk accelerator pedal to improve feel

This is a very nicely restored MGB classic that is a pleasure to own and very fun to drive. This is a great example of a rust free car. The rebuilt 1800cc engine with a big bore kit, Aluminum head, dual SU carbs with Cold air intake, and a Maniflow exhaust system runs very strong! The interior is in fabulous condition with new dash, carpets and rebuilt seats. Limited style steering wheel. New MGB Limited style wheels mounted with tires having lots of tread left on them. New convertible soft top. Dark orange color, the paint is in very good condition with the exception of just a few minor scratches. Four speed transmission with electric overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears makes for great cruising engine speeds. This MGB is a must see! Note: The intake kit is available from Moss Motors (part# 223-065, currently about $210)

1966 MGB mk1 Roadster. Runs and drives great, absolutely zero rust, less than 200 miles since restoration. 62K original low miles. Car was stored since 1975 (see inspection sticker) Only one prior owner. Still has the original wire wheel spare, jack and knockoff hammer, full tonneau cover and rare factory top boot cover in original bags in the trunk. Rare original wood sport steering wheel and shift knob. Lots of new parts like master cylinder, brake cylinders, calipers, rubber hoses and shoes and pads, fuel pump, muffler and tailpipe, water pump, battery, clutch hoses and both clutch cylinders, chrome bumpers and emblems, rubber gaskets at windows, doors and windshield, tires and tubes, engine rear main seal, new clutch assembly and transmission seals, carpet and paint, All body repairs were done with British heritage UK made panels. Original matching numbers 1800 engine and 4 speed transmission. All lights and switches work properly. Interior is original showing some patina except seats are out of a later MGB. I have the original seats that will go with the car if wanted. They are rough and need to be recovered and restored. The car has the original top and frame. The top is in fair shape but usable. It has shrunk a bit from age. A few things it could use are the tachometer operates but is reading irratic and needs to be re-calibrated/repaired and the seat base padding has started to flatten and there is a scuff mark on the windshield from a bad wiper. If you like original unmolested cars this is the car for you. Please ask any questions prior to bidding as your bid is a contract to complete the purchase. Paypal deposit of $500 at end of auction. Final payment in Cash or Cashiers Check. Car will not be released until confirmation of cleared check. Call or text questions about car to 215-847-1303 between 8am and 8pm Eastern time only.
