A Beautiful Red 1971 MGB Roadster with Black Interior. LOW RESERVE : Bid with confidence and if you have any questions, please email and ask. (I am using my new Ebay account to sell this car. For over 10 years I have used my wife's ebay account (ZASAKUNI) which you will see has 100% Positive feed back. ) This MGB is an excellent car with a lots of originality which you can drive as it is or with little TLC make it a high dollar car. I was intending to change the carpet, seat covers and door panels and sell for a lot more but decided to sell as is so that the new owner can get it at a good base price and then gradually make it perfect to his standards. Truly a very good investment as these chrome bumper cars are getting scarce and going up in value real fast. The only reason I am selling this is because I have another 1972 B as well which I have already restored and is my driver for the pleasant winter in Arizona. THE GOOD Runs and drives great. Very fast and strong. The paint is nice 7/10? The car was originally British Racing Green. Low miles (title and odometer shows 64000) Early Chrome Bumper British Sports Car Correct and original 4 cyl, 1800 cc (1.8 litre) , Dual Carburetor, 4 speed Manual, Rear Wheel Drive, Convertible Wire Wheels with good rubber. (I have a spare wheel but no tire on it.) This California car is very clean. Rust free with the exception of some surface rust under the carpet due to water retention under the carpet. The 4 speed manual transmission and the 1800 cc motor are original in excellent condition with perfect compression and oil pressure. The brakes and clutch work well and so does all the electrical. The dash is in very nice original condition. The chrome all around is original and good with no denting or rusting. Good glass all around. Doors , trunk, bonnet and all panels fit perfect. Full and Half Tonneau Covers - good condition. THE NOT SO GOOD, YET CONVEYS INTEGRITY & ORIGINALITY Upholstery is still the factory original. It is rare to find original upholstery and interior these days and hence I have not changed it to show the integrity of the car. The carpet too is original with correct mohair base but will need replacement. Original factory Soft top still on the car, never replaced. windshield to body weather strip is dried and will need replaced. Typical Surface rust under the carpet due to moisture retention. Shipping world wide at buyers expense. The buying price will be Ex Phoenix, Arizona Seller reserves the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is also advertised locally.

Finding a SOLID MG - MGB is hit and miss. Most have had MANY OWNERS... and are worn out..meaning an entire restoration would be needed to have something you can depend on. This car has been well taken care of since 1980. When we checked under the carpets.. looking for rust.. none was there... when we looked under the bottom... nothing more than my Mercedes Benz. It had an oil leak.. but we had the engine completely checked out and went ahead & had gaskets, seals etc replaced. The car sits very solid. No leaning.  When driving... you can go a mile down the road in a straight line without touching the steering wheel. This car has not even been washed since I've owned it for just over a year. I NEVER got it out in the rain... and always just wiped it down to get any dust off of it when I would park it in my 2 story shop/garage. Attached are photos that will give you a decent sense of the condition of the car. The ONLY things I would do to this car might be replacing the back carpet.. and possibly having the drivers seat reupolstered as it has some cracked spots. These seats are covered with car seat covers that match the interior so I haven't changed a thing. I would also go ahead & put on the new windshield gasket.. but it's included with the car. New Battery (with Battery Tender) New AM/FM/ CD Player with Remote Control & USB port for iPhone etc.. (4) NEW Tires Convertible Top = EXCELLENT Condition Cockpit Cover   =  EXCELLENT Condition Complete Original Tool Kit Include Wire Wheel Tool, Lead Mallet  etc. Fairly New Carpet New MG Floor Mats = Excellent Condition Fresh Engine Tune-up By European Motorworks.. Car will come with a box of accessories and New parts that were purchased for the car.. including an MGB Paint Stripe Kit The Title I have is CLEAR and supposedly from the 3rd owner of the car. You'll see and feel that the car only has 31,000 miles. NADA Says Car Originally Sold for $7,950 in 1980. NADA Says LOW Retail = $5,850 NADA Says AVG Retail = $10,600 NADA Says HIGH Retail = $22,800 ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY..

1974 MGB Convertible For sale is my 1974 MGB. This car is in wonderful condition both mechanically and aesthetically. It starts and runs great and doesn’t require California annual smog tests. The factory Bracken (light orange) paint is relatively new as is the black top and Autumn Leaf (brown & tan) interior. This was the last year for chrome bumpers before MG went to the large rubber bumpers. The engine is an 1800 cc with 5 main bearings and a fully synchromesh gearbox. Everything works as it should including all lights and dash gauges. The car comes with 2 tops, a black folding top and a black fiberglass hardtop. For summer months leave the soft top in place and when it turns chilly or cold put the hardtop on. This is a fun car to drive! $9,500.00 or make offer Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I'm selling my 1976 MGB Roadster. This MG is solid. As you can see from the photos, it has been well taken care of. You can speak with my mechanic who services the car. He owns and services antique cars. I have nothing to hide about the car and will discuss everything with you when you come to look at it. It has been garaged for the past 15 years. The interior is all original and in very good condition. Some recent new parts (last 2-years) - Exhaust system - Battery (with shut-off switch) - Master Cylinder - Alternator - Tune-up - Fuel line/filter - signals switch Bonus: Comes with a tonneau cover and hardtop roof. (just in time for fall driving!) The hardtop roof is in good condition but it will need restoration. A brand new paint job would make this car really nice too as it has some chipped paint and some imperfections. A little rust below the door panels as well, but not bad at all. Come take a look at it. If you are looking for an inexpensive ready to go MGB, this is the one! Thanks.

Up for sale a 1979 MGB Roadster Convertible. Health concerns causes sale of my project, My loss your gain. I have been working on this car for about 4 years and recent health issues has prevented my finishing car. Lets talk about MGB's. I have been working on Brit cars for 50 years, and the MGA and MGB are the best of the bunch. They are built like tanks...thick metal bodies and superior forgings and castings. They are comfortable, easy to maintain, and going up in value! They are not fast but run very strong, especially with the upgrades this this car has received. The 1st thing you do to a MG is convert to tube shocks in the back, the handling stability goes way up! The next is convert to a down draft Weber carb and headers to make the top of the engine lighter and boost performance and reliability, especially in starting the car, and being able to fine tune the fuel mixture. Then you replace the wire wheels or steel wheels with mag wheels to get rid of highway vibrations. All stamped steel wheels are out of round! The Mini Cooper wheels on this MGB make it smooth past 100 mph! next you really want an overdrive to save on fuel and engine wear, and your car runs cooler also. Buying from a good owner is imperative too. I have owned this MGB for 5 years and it was my daily driver many of those years! I replace it with a Mini Cooper Clubman for taking long trips. Work I have done in the last 5000 miles includes: oil cooler for surviving in Texas summers extra radiator 12v cooling fan w reliable thermal switch setup complete clutch rear brakes u-joints and pinion seal, change tranny and diff oil and grease front suspension v8 mgb control arm bushings for longevity and comfort, and rack boots rear tube shock conversion and new Lucas Fork oil in the front shocks carpet inside and the trunk. There is no rust in either place! convertible top door panels wood dash kit sunvisor clips and new wiper blades Sherwin Williams paint and new windshield base seals and door window wipe seals new side stainless trim magnetic fresh air vent cover to keep summer heat out Mini Cooper JCW wheels smaller MGB LE steering wheel for better grip and faster steering new taillight lenses and for reverse lights too collapsing antennae so no holes are poked in the car cover high efficiency AC condensor and charge system piston rings and rod bearings and headgasket The cylinder head was just retorqued and the oil changed in the motor and oil cooler and valves reset Factory Luggage rack This MGB ROCKS, looks and drives great, and is a spiff car ready for your enjoyment. It has always been in Dallas except for road trips to Austin and Athens. I am the 3rd owner. The previous owner was a British British car mechanic Tony Richards who passed away a few years ago. Then I purchased it from the widow and took it to the next level. Always buy a car from a good adult owner, and hopefully a car never owned by a teenager or young man who tend to butcher cars or overdrive and under service the cars. This car is an appreciating investment, and is ready to supply years of enjoyment.\ This is the only MGB I am aware of that has both AC and Overdrive. Don't miss this rare opportunity for a great hobby!!! This is a last year production car....

I purchased this a few months ago for a project and no longer have the time to restore...... The engine has been replaced and is holding oil pressure well. It drove well and was quite a peppy little driver when running around the town.... It runs well. I did get to drive it a few miles and the engine was strong, running through all gears in the city and the highway. The interior is rusted and the seats are functioning but well worn. The vinyl top is brand new but the metal frame is not included -I've seen this listed for around $200. I'm not a car person so I cannot comment on particulars other than I purchased this from a local seller who also had this as a project stating that the engine had been dropped in and was running well -holding oil pressure well. This was the case when I purchased and drove the car through all gears in the city and highway. Lights and electrical are functioning and the car drove well when taken through all gears. The rust is considerable with holes under the seats -a plywood panel was used as a makeshift floor board. This car may make a good purchase for parts -especially the engine. The seat are useable but worn. Electrical and lights work -tires were holding air when put in storage three months ago.
