1971 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 3.5 134,997 Miles.New leather front seats from World Upholstery and leather backseats in excellent condition.Original paint with minor touchups, no collision damage.No body rust apparent.Some separation of the finish on the wood along front window. Wood itself is intact. Some minor wear of wood veneer on driver door window.Interior in general is in excellent condition.Glue staining in original headliner above passenger backseat.Chrome throughout in excellent condition.Carpets in excellent condition.Has original aluminum sun screening for all sides and back window which are in excellent condition.All new air springs, one new main ride height control valve, and new rear ride height valve.Engine compartment is clean, has not been detailed. I have this beautiful 1969 Mercedes Benz 300SEL 6.3 Sedan (w109) for sale. Finished in Gray Blue Metallic exterior and Black Leather interior, this car is elegant and sporty as well. Odometer shows 90,263 miles but being a 5 digit odometer I don't know the actual miles. Engine is a V8 6.3 liter (M100) making 300hp capable to accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.3 seconds,0-100 mph (160 km/h) in 14.6 seconds and a Top Speed of 229 km/h (142.3 mph), making this car the fastest production sedan in the World by 1969.Transmission is a 4 speed automatic in good working condition. Wheels are original 14" Bundt alloys wearing 205/70-14 Michelin tires with plenty of thread left. Suspension is an original air system wearing brand new oem airbags all around and brand new Bilstein shocks. Brakes are discs all around. Car runs and drives beautiful. Interior has black bucket seats, black carpet all in great condition. The dash is in good condition, wood may need refinishing but it's all complete. I have my beautiful 1990 Mercedes 300 SEL with 147,000 miles for sale or trade. This is the best Mercedes ever made and with the 6 cylinder motor that is bulletproof.It's almost impossible to find one without rust. Well this one has not seen a winter yet. It's been a Florida car all of its life. I've posted 2 sets of pictures that I took on different days. 1st in my driveway (rainy day) and second set at work (sunny day). It's Blue exterior with Matching Blue leather. Definitely a one of a kind! Looks amazing!It has newer tires, brakes, full tune up, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and more done in the past 12 months as part of regular maintenance. I'll be interested in trades for other interesting cars, trucks, boats, campers, whatever ... as long as its cool and fun. I love toys and this was a toy that I've enjoyed over the past 2 years. Please keep this in mind when contacting me, I love and collect cars, boats, bikes, things that go fast. I'm in no way desperate for money or in dire need to sell. This is my hobby. Please be serious when contacting me, and have something worthwhile to trade. A little history on the car.I bought it about 2 years ago at a car auction as part of an estate sale in Indiana. The older couple owned it since 2003. They bought the car from florida and drove it home. It was always garage kept and driven only on nice days in the summertime. Only 6,000 miles were put on in 10 years by them! Since I've had it, it's seen about 1,000 miles on nice days. I've done some maintenance on it. Nothing major. It's a good car and can be driven anywhere without worries. The star emblem was stolen from the hood and the rear glass has some delamination in the corner.If you're flying in from out of state, I would be more than happy to pick you up from O'hare airport. I also have a set of 17" AMG staggered wheels that I bought for this car but never installed. They will come free with full purchase price.

This classic Mercedes has been well maintained. Recently in the past year it has received cosmetic attention and mechanical restoration by a veteran Mercedes mechanic with over 50 years experience including Diagnostic, Tune-up & installation of the following parts: Fuel Injectors, hoses & clamps, Rebuilt Radiator-pressure checked, cleaned, rod out & paint, Fan Clutch, Radiator Mount/Install Kit, Belts-Upper/lower Radiator hose, Coolant, Idler Pulley, Right & Left Heater hose, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, Distributor, Wires, Points & Condenser, Coil, Steering Damper, Power Steering Filter, Power Steering Gasket, Fuel Filter, Fuel Strainer(inside gas tank), Fuel lines inspected, Vacuum Booster line, Thermostat(Behr), AC Compressor, AC Charged(blows cold), AC levers repaired, New Muffler, Oil & Filter. The rear springs were replaced with NOS w108 chassis springs. The brakes and suspension have been inspected. All 4 head lights are new. All 4 step sills have been polished. All door jams have been removed, buffed & polished & lubricated with lithium grease and replaced. The doors fit nicely. The front seats & head rests have been reupholstered with original grade leather. All door panels, front & rear seats are in very good condition & have been treated with leather cleaner & preservative. The window wood trim & bow wood on the dash are in very good condition. The original wool floor mats are in exceptional condition. They have been removed and all the wool carpet has been shampooed. The front interior lights(floor & roof) and the three in the rear work. The radio works and the 4 speakers sound good. The electric automatic antenna works. The vacuum door locks work. The power windows work. The dash lights work. The cigarette lighter works. The turn signal indicators work. The horns work. The door panels, leather seats and wood work are very presentable and in good condition. The ash tray was disassembled and reconditioned using steel wool, metal and wood polish & reassembled. The valve covers are polished aluminum. The paint has been color sanded and polished. All of the electrical connection boxes have been disassembled, wire brushed & reassembled along with all fuses replaced as new. The electrical system, battery and battery terminals have been inspected & cleaned. The engine compartment has had detail work performed. The trunk is in good overall condition. A new rubber mat is included. The spare tire was removed from the rim, sand blasted, primed, painted and clear coated. The 4 hub caps have been painted. The original tool set and all the books and manuals for this car are included. Receipts for service performed are included. The exterior and interior are very clean. The body is very solid with no dings. It is a very comfortable & enjoyable car to drive.
