Antique 1984 Mercedes Benz 300CD Turbo Diesel - Rare Two Door - One Owner - Low Mileage This fantastic classic car has been a family car since the day it was purchase. It was maintained monthly however it has not been driven in the past 3 years or so. It's all original with the exception of the radio however I do have the original radio if you want it. There is a tiny bit of rust in the top right corner of the trunk. It did leak a bit but nothing crazy. There are also two small cigarette burns on the moon roof. These engines run forever but I would assume it needs new tires and a new battery. Overall this car is in great condition with very low milage for its age. It was a weekend car kept in the garage (with exception of the past few years) and driven primarily on highways. With a little TLC it needs just minor cosmetic fixes and it can be a good car for many more years.Can deliver within 100 miles. The car has received excellent care of by each of its three owners. This beautiful Mercedes has been garaged and pampered. The original owner had the car serviced at the Mercedes dealership, and all maintenance records are available with the vehicle. All original manuals, registration plate, and records are available. Also included is a Haynes 300-page Maintenance and Repair Manual. The car is in Top Mechanical Condition and drives like new. The car starts immediately (even on the coldest winter day). It has excellent power, shifts smoothly, and the suspension is controlled and supple. There are no vibrations at any speed. The brakes work well without pulling or pulsations. The engine uses no oil between oil changes. Door locks are fast and responsive. Air blows out the appropriate vents. All seats and leather are in excellent condition. The paint shines like new and the interior is clean and in top condition. All chrome and aluminum trim is excellent. There are no cracks in the dash and the wood is in excellent condition as well. The spare tire is a brand new Michelin X and the jack and complete tool kit are included along with the laminated instructions. The climate controls are functioning perfectly with heat and ice cold A/C. The original Mercedes Servo Control for the climate control has been replaced with an UnwiredTools™ ACCII System. Since installing this upgrade, the AC and Heater run with precise temperature control and much better than the old Mercedes Servo Mercedes 300CDs of the '76 to '82 vintage have this problematic and complicated mechanical system and will eventually leave you with no heat when you most upgrade was $1000 and it was money well spent. The Mercedes In-Series Glow Plugs System was replaced with a modern BERU Parallel Pencil-Style glow plugs that heat up faster and more reliably. The parallel plugs means that if one of the glow plugs fail the other 4 will continue to work and allow you to start the engine (unlike the series system from Mercedes!) All options work properly including the cruise control, power windows, Clock, Sunroof, Power Locks. The Stereo is the original Becker Mexico with AM/FM and works perfectly and with a beautiful sound. The original Hirshmann electric antenna works very well. 5 New Michelin X Tires from COSTCO were installed and balanced at 107,350 miles. They have been rotated twice since then. The car needs no maintenance at this time and is ready to be driven anywhere. The safety inspection from the State of North Carolina is current. Because it is considered an Antique Car the licensing costs are also much lower than normal. The car sports its original factory paint. The fact that it looks so nice is because it has been well-cared for through the years. There is some checking of the paint and minor imperfections consistent with the age of the car. 1984 Mercedes 300CD Coupe turbodiesel, looks&runs good. Original paint minor dents on the body. Working power windows and sunroof. Priced for immediate sale. Nice and clean interior. Rare coupe with excellent engine & transmission. Runs great, easy start in the mornings, excellent engine compression, strong acceleration going up hills, does not smoke or burn oil,engine temperature stays cool always around 80 degrees. Car starts on first crank from cold start, which is a tell sign of a well-maintained engine. Car has had one previous owner and she kept the car in the garage, undercover for most of its life. I bought it two and half years ago when it had 69,000 miles. Now it has about 85,700. The car has never been in an accident and the interior and exterior are extremely well maintained. The car has a new transmission with a 2-year warranty, and a new radiator. The car has leak on one of the gaskets, which is being closely watched by my mechanic. He says that the car has a few months or more left before the gasket will have to be replaced. Replacement is about $1,400, but if you are able to do it yourself, it would be half that price. Other than that, the car runs great. Original Mercedes wheels are included in sale. Classic 1985 Mercedes 300CD with 79K original miles. White with blue leather interior. This is the last year Mercedes made this model and it has been well cared for its entire life. I am the second owner and purchased the car from a couple in Florida who owned it for 27 years. I've put about 4K of work into it mechanically and it runs beautifully. Everything on the car works. It's one of the best examples I've seen of a 300CD and I would love to keep it but my garage is too full. I have lots of pictures and am happy to share more about the car with another Mercedes enthusiast.
