1970 Road Runner hardtop coupe. 383 numbers matching. The car is automatic with power steering. Factory TX9 black exterior with factory white interior. Odometer is showing 29,000, but it is probably 129,000. I will try and describe the car in detail and be completely honest and represent it fairly for the next owner. The paint is 2 years old and I would rate it a 8 out of 10. The motor has had a complete rebuild with less than 500 miles on it and runs very well. All the heavy lifting has been done on this RR. It has torsion bar front adjustable suspension. The ride height is lower in the front than stock. You could adjust it up, or go back to the stock springs if you do not like this look. This beauty came out of Florida and has many new parts. Here is a list of new items. It has a few scratches, nothing major, and the gauges on the dash do not work all the time. I am not a Mopar man and do not know how to fix them. The left rear tail light is out. (maybe bulb?) 1970 Roadrunner. This was a "1" owner car up until 2008. The car sat under a car port for years. It was treated to a frame off rotisserie restoration. It still has its original matching number engine, trans and rear. All the original parts that were unable to be spared were saved and go with the car. There is tons of original documentation that also go with the car including the build sheet, original order form and all the original owners information. Some changes were done during restoration including adding air conditioning, adding the huge pro street look rear tires (no tub), also the color was changed from originally high impact lemon twist yellow to turquoise and white. This is one of the nicest 69 Roadrunner Hardtops you will find. If you're looking for a complete #'s matching car, this is not the car for you. However, if you looking for one that has a period correct 383/335 hp engine, this may be your car. This car had a complete nut and bolt restoration done and was reassembled as original as you will find one, even down to the paint markings and ID tags on the wiring. I have many photo's of the restoration. It is an original paint code 99 Rallye Green Car. This was a special order paint in 69 and based on my research, 1 - 2 % of Roadrunner's got this paint in 69. It an original 4sp. car with a 3:91 True-Grip rear. The engine in the car runs perfect. Burns no oil, doesn't smoke and has no leaks . Transmission and rear are also in excellent condition. I would say the paint is a 9 out of 10 and looks fantastic. The interior looks as new, with no defects. The under carriage is painted as is the exterior of the car and is free from road any elements. Has manual drum brakes and no power steering. I bought the car from RK Motors in 2010 and has put only 1500 miles on it. The car has been driven mostly to shows where it has won multiple Best in Shows. So, look at the pictures and be your own judge. $500.00 deposit due thru Paypal upon completion of auction. 1971 Plymouth Road Runner 383 4-Speed In Violet Crazy Purple Up for sale is this very nice Road Runner that runs strong and looks great. It was painted about 5 or 6 years ago and although not perfect it presents very well. The body is straight and the glass is good. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers is excellent. We have tried to point out any flaws in our pictures. The interior needs refurbished to be show quality. The windows don't roll up properly without assistance and the rear parcel deck needs recovered. With a little TLC this Road Runner could be taken to the next level, or drive it the way it is. The motor runs out strong and makes a lot of power with an Edelbrock 4 Bbl carb and manifold. The spark is boosted with an MSD Ignition with Flame-Thrower Coil and high performance wires. The transmission is good in all 4 gears but sometimes pops out of 2nd gear and needs to be sorted out. For this reason we are selling the car way below market value. The clutch action is very stout.We have a clear PA title in our name that is ready for immediate transfer. Our shop is able to accommodate any size truck or trailer for pick up. Price is $92,000 or make me an offer. Worse thing I can do is just say no. For sale is a 1969 Hemi Road Runner in it's original EW1 Alpine White. As far as we can tell, it is all original paint and interior. The paint has been touched up here and there over the years. The sign from a former owner says it is "90% original paint & body". The body is very straight and the interior is in great shape. Since the exterior and interior are original, what you see is what you get. The broadcast sheet is in great condition and pictured below. It was in California from the time it was bought until 2005 and still has the black license plates from there. This is a true J-Code Hemi car. It has a Mopar Performance block in it now with 1968 dated Carburetors and ceramic coated TTI headers. The motor and transmission are built strong. Below is a picture from a previous owner of a couple specs and quarter mile time (12.62@ 108mph). It is also equipped with power steering, 6 way seat, Air Grabber hood system, tach, and a Dana with 4.10 gears in it. It has been changed over to Wilwood disc brakes in the front. Here is a rough decoding of the fender tag that I did. Should be fairly accurate, but you can double check.
