OK here goes! I have a beautiful 64 Savoy--car is a 39K mile survivor--when rescued it came with slant 6 three on the Tree--It was just begging for an update so here are the details-- Car is a rust free, garage kept Gem! It has lots of original paint --it has had some areas re painted--retains a fantastic "survivor look" to the exterior--under hood and engine bay was fully repainted when new engine was installed--under carriage is all factory paint showing--no undercoat hiding anything--as expected there is some very slight surface rust on some of the underside like gas tank straps etc--overall it is a time capsule on overall finish--all original trim was just polished and looks as new--all grill, bumpers head light doors etc are near perfect--retains all original factory spatter finish in trunk and there is no rust in truck floor or original lower quarters --it is amazing. Original jack instructions remain--repo trunk mat and repo carpet set --The interior is near mint condition--even the headliner , package shelf and visors are unbelievable--rear seat and all door pannels are factory original beauties--The front seat has had the main insert replaced with exact factory correct material and is perfect--all glass is like new--front suspension has been rebuilt and new disc brakes added--A 833 four speed has been rebuilt and features Centerforce clutch which hold all the power yet keeps reasonable pedal pressure--Under the hood is a brand new 440 built by Nascar legend Keith Dorton in Concord, NC It has a Comp hyd cam that sounds just right yet is very driveable--care was taken to get "the sound" without going too big on cam--On top is a new A&A reproduction Max Wedge intake completed with new Dorton tuned carbs and all new A& A corrct linkage, coil brackets etc and factory style air cleaners--Exhaust is Max Wedge header style manifolds run through a new TTI MW system with the factory style cut outs and 3 inch pipe all the way back--she sounds amazing! I can't stress enough how well this car runs and drives--Not a squeak or rattle in the entire car--doors close on all original rubbers like a new car--retains all original weatherstrip even the trunk This car is an easy driver with the 3.23 ratio fresh rebuilt Suregrip but will fold the mirrors back when called on--acceleration is stunning--Car is tuned to perfection and well sorted--would cross the USA tonight with Zero issues! Runs cool as a cuke with fresh factory style radiator--Zero heat issues!! I have clear NC title and want to sell this car--first person to see in person will walk away with it--PLEASE call me 704 244 6649 eastern time to discuss more detail and talk deal! Cash in person or bank transfer is the only method we will accept on payment --If you wire the funds I can overnight FEDEX the title so you may arrange for a carrier--I will store car in heated secure facility until your carrier can pick up--will assist loading and do all we can to make a smooth deal This is a really wonderful driver quality car --it is priced well below others on the market--the car was built by Mopar pros --it runs and drives better than you could ever imagine-- It is not perfect--the very nature of any "survivor ' means there are some thin areas on exterior paint, a small scratch or two here and there--the bottom of the fender extensions are the most solid best I have ever seen in an early B Body--I coated them with paint to preserve them--there is no coating hiding anything underneath--tops of the door panels have a little fading but no cracks and no soiling--under hood is very detailed and paint under there is perfect as great care and endless days went into very thorough professional prep You will love this car--I hope whoever buys it will drive it often and enjoy it like it was meant to be! 1959 Plymouth Savoy. Flathead 6, push-button automatic. Prior to owning the car, it was painted. Since purchasing, about ten years ago, all N.O.S. asbestos brakes front and rear have been redone, and valve job. There is a new stainless steel replacement fuel tank that was purchased installed in 2006. Through the pictures, you can see a dent in the front fascia, under the bumper. The rest of the car is extremely straight. Window gaskets and seals are in tremendous shape showing this car's low 30,000 mile wear. The car has never been rotted, rusted or been in any accidents. The car stays in dry storage year round, when not in use.

They're stuffed with big blocks and shed off weight to trim down the elapsed time of passes down the 1/4 mile. Rarely do you get a car like this award-winning 1963 Plymouth Savoy that not only can make a quick pass down the strip, but also bring home a trophy from the show. Known for judging some of the finest cars, this '63 Savoy attended the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in November of 2010 and scored an amazing 976 points out of 1000 possible! Walking around this car it still shows just as well. The black paint has a deep shine and rich gloss that looks great on the car's straight sheet metal. There are chrome bumpers that are mounted at the front and rear appearing in like new condition with a smooth reflection. All of the trim and stainless looks good, it's obvious great care has been taken with this car since its build. A Max Wedge scoop gives it that vintage drag racer look, and Plymouth badges on the hood and fenders keep things minimal on the exterior. There are no fancy stripes or large call outs on this car, just a sharp, clean black body that sits on 15'' Crager SS wheels. Things have been modernized just a little bit in the bright red exterior. The first things you'll notice are the two Recaro bucket seats that are covered in soft red vinyl. That vinyl could be mistaken for leather, and it covers the door panels and rear panels as well, wrapping the cabin in a vivid red. The seats sit on clean, red carpet that stretches from the firewall all the way back to area where a rear seat used to reside, but it was removed to save some weight. Between the seats is a B&M ratchet shifter for the 3-speed automatic transmission. There are a couple of cup holders so you can enjoy your favorite beverage en route to the drag strip, and a fire extinguisher mounted forward of that shifter. In front of the driver, things remain simple with a clean red dash and instrument panel. The instrument panel houses the speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, water temperature, and amperage. The best part about this car is what lies under the hood. Lift that hood and you'll find a 1970 440 cubic inch V8 with a 253643010 casting number, that is topped with 906 heads. The polished aluminum intake is fed by a 770 cfm Holley carburetor with a Mallory distributer sparking the air/fuel mixture. That mixture is squeezed by 10:1 compression, with the spent gasses being handled by Doug's headers and 3 inch exhaust pipes. This big block's power is sent through an A727 Torqueflite transmission with a 3000 rpm stall that turns a 8 3/4 inch rear end, packed with 3.23 gears. Put this Savoy on a lift and you'll find a clean undercarriage that has been beefed up with Hemi superstock leaf springs, Hemi torsion bars, frame connectors, and disc brakes up front with Cordoba spindles. This 1963 Plymouth Savoy has the right touches for a drag strip warrior, or show field king. It's already proven to take home trophies from Monster Mopar Weekend on more than one occasion. With the 2014 event just around the corner, now is your chance take home some trophies of your own.
