1971 Plymouth Road Runner 383 4-Speed In Violet Crazy Purple Up for sale is this very nice Road Runner that runs strong and looks great. It was painted about 5 or 6 years ago and although not perfect it presents very well. The body is straight and the glass is good. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers is excellent. We have tried to point out any flaws in our pictures. The interior needs refurbished to be show quality. The windows don't roll up properly without assistance and the rear parcel deck needs recovered. With a little TLC this Road Runner could be taken to the next level, or drive it the way it is. The motor runs out strong and makes a lot of power with an Edelbrock 4 Bbl carb and manifold. The spark is boosted with an MSD Ignition with Flame-Thrower Coil and high performance wires. The transmission is good in all 4 gears but sometimes pops out of 2nd gear and needs to be sorted out. For this reason we are selling the car way below market value. The clutch action is very stout.We have a clear PA title in our name that is ready for immediate transfer. Our shop is able to accommodate any size truck or trailer for pick up. 72 Roadrunner original RM Hemi Orange car. 71k miles, A good driver that shows well at local cruise nights. Car is not numbers matching although the 400 is rebuilt and runs well with a purple 284/484 cam and headers. Had an amateur restoration done by previous owner and it shows up close. Has mud in the quarters, door dings a plenty some wide body gaps, ect. It shines up nice, is solid undernieth and is a good driver but its not a show car. A few things to finish it up and it will be a great cruiser. I have just lost interest and looking for something a bit more late model. You are looking at a 1975 Plymouth road runner last year for the rm code road runner it has a rebuilt by previous owner 318 and a 904 trans rebuilt while I had it car runs and drives good needs an alignment rear axle bearing some body work and paint. Front k frame was down has new bushings has front and rear sway bars also has a custom bent full dual exhaust with flow masters sounds great new tires on from interior looks real nice dash recovered as well as front buckets were redone also. Floors are nice trunk has 2 small spots of rust quarters were patched years ago as well as the front fenders doors are good but need hinges rebuilt Have some extra doors and front header panel to replace the cracked one. car does run and drive very well. this will be the last time I am listing this car if it does not sell I will put it back in the garage till I get time to do it right the reason I am selling is cause I have too many projects if you have any questions or interest don't hesitate to ask

This car is part of an estate of a Mopar enthusiast and sadly must be sold. It has been garage kept for almost 20 years. The intentions were to restore this car from the bottom up but time ran out for the owner. He purchased this car in 1996 and had the body stripped and completed the body work along with painting the car in primer paint. He also had the interior painted in what he intended the color to be -- silver. There is no body damage or rust anywhere on the car. Since he is no longer here to explain further his plans for the car we are trying to put together his plans for the next owner. We know that he purchased most of the replacement parts new and will be including them with the car but do not have an itemized list available. We know that the interior including the dashboard and door panels are accounted for. The glass is also believed to be included. There is a transmission, clutch, rear and engine included. The car was an original 383 engine type but he was planning to put in the 440 which is included - condition unknown. There is an air grabber hood as well included. We also believe that there is trim included -- all of this is uncertain at this point until we can dig through his garage for all of the pieces. Please address any further questions through ebay.

1968 Road Runner 440 4 speed. It was an original 383 4 speed car. I have fender tag for it no build sheet. Car was from California and I bought it in Arizona. I have clear PA title in my name and I drive it daily car runs and drives very nice and everything works. The 440 has 30000 Original miles on it and it's 1973 steel crank out of a motorhome. Has a new McLeod clutch and all correct hurst shifter and linkage. Car is a power steering 26 inch rad power brake car originally. Now has manual brakes power steering and 26 inch champion rad brand new. 11 inch drums all around and new shoes. Has brand new front end all new exhaust with flow masters and hooker headers. The whole drivetrain is like new! The car has very little rust but does need some body work and a center trunk floor but that's it for rust repair Started restoring the interior and have some nice parts. Nice daily driver fun to drive or easy winter project This is a real Road Runner with the fender tag perfect and still in car, all markings including dash, body panels match number on tag. Also this is not a northern car it was ordered and bought in LA and spent its whole life there untill 10 years ago it was moved to Arizona and that is where I bought it a year and 1/2 ago and had it transported to PA. The frame has benn checked on a frame machine to be 100 percent perfect and was aligned after putting brand new cooper cobra tires on it. The car just glides down the road. Car is missing the heater box, and seat belts. Also I have been very detailed in restoring the car to original. I also have very nice switch panel pad and armrest. Of the few engine options available, the top choice was of course, the King, the 426 HEMI. This genuine J-code is one of the 187 original HEMI Road Runners produced in 1969. This one backed by the legendary 727 Torque-flight automatic. While most Road Runners were stripped-own low-optioned affairs, this one well appointed and handsomely trimmed out. She is equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Wood Grain Accents, bucket seats, and center console. A beauty in Black Velvet, with black interior, and black stripes means triple the meanness. Options were decoded and confirmed by Galen Govier. This HEMI Road Runner is a bruiser and a cruiser. The history on the car dates back to the early 1980's. She wears her most all her original sheet metal and her original fender tags. The car underwent a complete rotisserie restoration by its previous owner. Now residing in a doctor’s private collection, stored in a climate controlled environment and seldom driven, the restoration still looks stunning.?? The date code correct, non-stamped HEMI's rotating assembly was balanced, the heads and intake manifold ported and flow tested, and the rare 1969 date coded Hemi carburetors rebuilt. The HEMI spec transmission is also a correct, but not VIN matching. The stock H-pipe and factory resonators retained as well as the factory Sure-Grip 3.55:1 rear end. High flow Dynomax mufflers a good for some extra ponies and killer exhuast note. The ride and handling are improved with BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial Redline tires, measuring 235/70 R15 on all four corners. Exterior Description Black on black slick top with red side stripes and blackout hood stripes. Doesn't get any meaner. The red accent stripes really set off the car. Mostly original sheet metal with only one known patch panel in lower quarter. This is one of only a handful of Black Hemi Road Runners known to exist. Driven sparingly, the restoration still looks incredible. Interior Description A black interior car. This comes with the bucket seats, with a wood-grain console between the two seats. An automatic sitting in the console to control that Hemi with your right foot. Interior is in good condition. Original back seat material looks crisp. Engine Bay Description Sitting between the inner fenders is an elephant, a genuine 426 Hemi engine. Just as it should be. This original Hemi Road Runner has a correct, rebuilt and balanced Hemi with the paperwork to prove it. This is a factory Power Steering and Disc Brake car, and all proper parts there. A newer but factory correct in appearance battery. Has the correct "054" radiator and date coded hoses. The rebuild of the Hemi is well documented as well. The Hemi is fed by the N96 factory air grabber hood?. Chassis Description Underneath is completed in correct gray primer with body color overspray. Suspension and drivetrain are factory detailed. This was little used after restoration, so there is little wear and tear on the chassis. The car is setup just as a Hemi Road Runner should, with the heavy duty torsion bars, Hemi K-member with skid plate, the 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 gears makes for a good bruiser at the lights and a nice cruiser as well. This car is one you can do almost anything with and not have to worry about it.
