Engine / Driveline This is a numbers-matching 1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 Holiday Coupe. It has a 400 cubic inch V-8, Turbo Hydramatic 400 transmission, and a 10-bolt Posi-Traction rear end. The car was running and driving a little less than a year ago. As of right now, when hooked to a battery the engine will crank but it does not turn over. No fuel to carburetor. Still has original Rochester 4-barrel carburetor. Factory air conditioned car with original Frigidaire components still installed. Power steering and power brakes need to be redone. Drum brakes all the way around. New suspension is needed all the way around. Exhaust system including mufflers look like they’re original to the car. Interior Red cloth interior with front bucket seats and center console with floor shifter and rallye gauges. Aftermarket cassette deck in place of the original radio has been installed. Dashboard has minimal cracking for its age. Package tray below rear window is intact. Seats are intact but show their age. Original headliner is still in the car. Door panels are original but they are beyond repair. The entire interior is original, but it will all need to be redone. Windows roll up and down but will need alignment. The car will need a new front windshield, but the rest of the glass is usable. Gauges still light up. Has correct “442” emblem on glove compartment door. All seatbelts are still there. Odometer shows 155,255 miles. Body The exterior body of the car has rust in all of the typical A-body areas. It will need patch panels. Floor pans have some smaller rust areas but are repairable. Oldsmobile side marker lamps are still in place. Rear bumper is in good condition but will need to be re-chromed. Bottom edge of trunk lid has a little rust. Trunk lid emblems were missing when I bought the car but it comes with the original “442” fender emblems for both sides. Original jack instruction stickers are still on underside of trunk lid. Trunk interior is in overall good condition. Original jack and rear trailer hitch are still with the car. Gas cap is missing (I have taped it off). Car was in a light fender bender on the front passenger side many years ago under the previous owner. The very front passenger side of the frame is slightly warped and the bumper mounting point is bent backward a little. The affected area is shown in the pictures provided. However, this is very repairable and the affected area will only need to be slightly straightened if a frame-off restoration is done to the car. Front bumper has since been replaced and is very shiny and in good condition. Front passenger fender was replaced (by previous owner) with a fender off of a ’69 Cutlass. Hood is original and has been repaired with bondo. The hood is very straight and the original “442” emblems are still in place, but have some bubbling on driver side. The car will need new front passenger headlight bezel. Rearview mirrors are in good condition. Original antenna is in good condition. Paint is original, but needs to be redone. Wheels Car has Oldsmobile Rallye II wheels with snap-in center caps. 2 center caps are missing (passenger side). I believe these wheels are off of a 1972 model. According to my research, 1969 model year 4-4-2 cars should have the bolt-on center caps. New tires are needed. Documentation This car still has the original broadcast sheet, owner’s manual, plastic sleeve for the owner’s manual, manual for the original radio, and clear blue Texas Title. o VIN: 344879M37462 § 1st Digit: 3 (GM Division Oldsmobile) § 2nd-5th Digit: 4487 (4-4-2: 2-Door Holiday Coupe) § 6th Digit: 9 (Model Year 1969) § 7th Digit: M (Lansing, Michigan Assembly Plant) § Last 6 Digits: 37462 (Production Number) o Broadcast Sheet Codes: § M40: TH400 Automatic Transmission § PL5: Tires- Blackwall Wide, Oval Polyester Cord F70 x 14” § N66: Wheel, Rally Type (Super Stock II, 13”) § U63: Radio, Push Button Control § A02: Glass, Tinted Windshield (Tinted Upper) § C60: Air Conditioner, Manual Control § B32: Mat, Front Floor Throw § D55: Console, Compartment Floor (Var. 1) This 1969 4-4-2 is an EXCELLENT frame-off restoration candidate with lots of potential. It was purchased new in New Mexico and moved to West Texas a few years later where it spent most of its life. I purchased it about 6 months ago from the original family with the intention of restoring it, but I will be moving soon and will no longer have the space for the build so it’s time to find it a good home. Car is located in the Austin, Texas area. Car is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. No returns. Shipping /pick-up is entirely the responsibility of the buyer. $500 PayPal deposit within 24-hours of sale, and remainder of balance via cash or cashier’s check within 5 days of sale. 1970 was the height of performance for American Muscle Cars. To keep up in the horsepower arms-race, General Motors dropped the cap on engine size in 1970 and Oldsmobile responded by making the Olds 455 V8 the standard 4-4-2 engine. Output was 365 hp, with 500 ft./ lbs. of torque. A “rocket ship” was launched. In recognition of the 1970 revised body style and increased performance, the Olds 4-4-2 was awarded Pace Car duties at the Indianapolis 500 race in 1970. Motor Trend praised the 4-4-2, stating that "it's probably the most identifiable super car in the GM house” and those seeking to experience the ultimate in performance from Oldsmobile could order a "W-Machine" version of the 4-4-2, dubbed the W-30 package. The 4-4-2 W-30 added a fiberglass hood (option W25) with functional air scoops and low-restriction air cleaner, aluminum intake manifold, special camshaft, cylinder heads, distributor, and carburetor that increased the horsepower to 370hp. Oldsmobile’s “King of the Hill”, the 1970 442 W30 is one of the quickest production Olds ever built. Being offered for sale is a Sherwood Green 1970 Olds 442 W-30 “Holiday Hardtop Coupe”, with the W-35 rear spoiler. This car is nothing less then exquisite. Beautifully restored, very original, with complete owner history from dealership delivery, this 442 W30 is a “show stopper.” One of 1,032 4-Speed “Holiday Hardtop Coupe” W-30s made in 1970, this car has approximately 87,000 miles and received a complete body-on restoration from nose to tail, with absolute attention paid to detail and originality. The body is laser straight, with all joints and body panel seams lining up perfectly. The Sherwood Green exterior finish is flawless, with correct white striping. The bumpers have been properly restored and present in excellent condition. All the original parts on this restoration have been bead blasted and repainted to factory specs. Where parts needed to be replaced, only NOS or the highest quality replacement parts were used. The 455 ci, 370hp “F” head engine, with correct ram induction system and fiberglass hood, was completely disassembled and rebuilt (rings, bearings, factory spec’d cam) re-assembled and painted to factory finish. The block is a non-numbers matching piece. All other engine components are original factory numbered parts. The original red plastic inner fenders are in excellent condition. The car has a new correct battery and cables. The front end suspension was completely dissembled, all parts bead blasted and repainted to factory finish. New control arm bushings, ball joints, correct spiral shocks, tie-rod ends, sway bar bushings, rubber bumpers, rotors and brakes. The front calipers and steering box were rebuilt. The interior was completely restored, with re-upholstered front bucket seats and rear seats, new head liner, new carpet, new center console shifter boots ( upper and lower), and re-conditioned Hurst shifter. The glove box shifter console, imitation wood inlays, dash vinyl, carpeted door panels and seat belts are in excellent original condition, as is the original interior chrome and seat chrome. The trunk surface was prepped, repainted and clear coated with correct color trunk paint. The car has a new correct Goodyear raised white letter spare tire mounted on correct re-conditioned / painted SS II wheel, with all chrome trim. The trunk has a new correct fabric mat, with an optional rubber “OLDSMOBILE” trunk mat laid over the fabric mat, a new jack, lug wrench and spare tire mounting hardware. The underbody floor pan and frame present in excellent, as new condition. A clearly exceptional 1970 Olds 442 W30, this car appears on the cover of Muscle Car Magazine under the title “Kings of Woodward Ave.” and must be seen in person to be appreciated for its outstanding quality. If you can't personally inspect the car, please hire a qualified inspector to conduct a pre-purchase inspection on your behalf; so, you're assured of the quality of the vehicle you're purchasing. Classic Muscle cars of this quality are few and far between and this “Holiday Hardtop Coupe” is for a buyer who wants the absolute best ! Any questions, please call Mark 609-306-1631 10am-8pm EST.

I have for sale a 1969 Olds 442, the original owner in Maryland kept this car until 1994, sometime in the early 90's he started to turn it into a Hurst Olds replica, he installed a '72 455 which he had rebuilt and painted the car the appropriate colors, he sold the car in 1994 due to financial difficulties to a man in Virginia, the 2nd owner kept the car until 2006 and then sold to the 3rd owner in North Carolina who put the car in storage . This car has a clear Pennsylvania title which states the mileage as actual, 51000 miles. It has all original sheet metal and interior, the seats , headliner, door panel, carpet, exc. are all in nice shape. The paint is pretty nice especially for something that was painted in the 90's , it's held up pretty well, i would consider it driver quality, there is some bubbling on the bottom of the doors, not bad though, the floors and frame are solid. The car runs and drives really well, the engine is smooth and the tranny shifts good, power steering works good, definitely feels like a 50000 mile car .This was an original A/C car but the compressor is gone, i do have the brackets though. I believe the rear is a 3:42 ratio, it also has no issues.Has brand new Flowmaster exhaust system tires, everything works on the car , lights, blinkers, cigarette lighter, tach, exc. the only thing not working is the fuel gauge and radio. If you have any question feel free to ask. I'm selling this vehicle due to buying a home. *Buyer Requirements: PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!!! *DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACKS. This is truly a project car. After 45 years, this car needs someone to restore it back to original condition. It was found in a barn after many years and pulled out last summer. It is rusty and needs new floor boards, quarter panels have been replaced over the years, trunk does not open. Unknown if engine will turnover but we are confident it is the original engine. Has 12 bolt posi rear end. VIN decodes to Olds 442 2 door plain back hard top coupe built in Linden, New Jersey. Features a Hurst shifter. We are not the origninal owners of this vehicle. You would received an Affidavit of Foreclosure to transfer title. The body is rusty but has all windows. Lots of detoriation from sitting in a barn for so long. Shipping Info: BUYER is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping.

1970 Oldsmobile CutlassW30 442 recreation455, Turbo 400, 12 bolt 3.73s, F heads I am selling my 1970 Olds Cutlass "W30 442" clone. This car is a blast to drive and you can't duplicate it for the asking price. This car has a straight body with nice paint. No it is not a Barrett Jackson/Mecum car but it is a nice driver that gets looks everywhere it goes. The paint does have some chips/scratches from daily driving. The gaps all look good except the driver side corner of the hood needs to be adjusted. The floors, Frame and trunk are all real solid. The bumpers and 442 grilles are all new and in nice shape. The hood is an aftermarket fiberglass reproduction. The interior is in nice shape. The door panels, Rear seat and headliner are all real clean. The front seat is nice but has been dyed and does not quite match the rest of the pearl interior. The dash is clean and not butchered up. The best part of this car is the drivetrain. I was told by the previous owner that the drivetrain has about 8k miles on it. The engine is a 71 455 with 1970 "F" heads. The motor has a nice cam, Headers, Aluminum intake and Holley carb. It makes great horsepower and torque. I never raced it but I am sure it is capable of low 13s to high 12s with traction. This one will burn the BFG radials as long as you hold the pedal down. There is a slight header leak from the passenger header. The transmission is a built turbo 400 with a shift kit, Trans cooler and a 2200 rpm convertor. The rear is a 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears and Southside lift bars and factory sway bar. The suspension was gone through a few years ago and feels very tight. The car has power disc brakes in front and they work well. The exhasut is a Flowmaster 3 inch from front to back and it sounds great. The tires are BFG radials and have good tread. The car does have an electric fuel pump and electric fan. The wipers don't work and the heater core is bypassed, I got it this way. I do have a new weatherstrip kit for it. I bougth the car last December and have put about 800 miles on it over the summer. It gets looks everywhere it goes. I recently bought a nice 1970 W31 Cutlass with low miles so this one has to go. Please feel free to email or call 610-442-2503 with any questions. Thanks for looking. I do have a video of the car idiling but Ebay won't let me add it in. Please email me and I can give you the link. If the BUY IT NOW is used I will include a brand new reproduction ram air cleaner that costs $650 with shipping

Real nice solid Rust free 442. This car is a great car to restore or you can drive it as you go. It was on the road up until 2012. It would also make a great father son project without putting in a lot of work, time or money into it. The body is laser straight, rust and bondo free. It does have a few dings on it and one small dent in the drivers front fender. The trunk is rust free and already done. The floors are rust free also. The primer needs to be blocked down, resealed and done over for the best possible outcome. Not much paint on the car at this time. The interior is in very good overall condition with no rips or tears. It does however have a few small blem's and would need to be changed for a show car. It has the deluxe seat belts option. It needs a headliner, dash pad and some dash work by the radio and it can use a new carpet. The motor is a strong running rebuilt, blueprinted 455 engine from S&K speed shop in Long Island NY, with almost 0 miles on it. We have the bills for the engine. The car sports boxed control arms posi rear and dual exhausts, but it may be a clone. Not sure, I'm a Pontiac guy but love the Oldsmobile cars also. Shocks look new front and rear as does the front end component, new master cylinder, not shown in the picture. I have some NOS chrome body trim and some very nice used trim that goes with the car. The cars headlight bezels are off of it at this time but we do have them. We also have all the chrome for the hood in very nice condition and an almost mint console top. The only chrome we are missing is on the center the rear tail lights. The bumpers will need to be done over, and the windows need to be re-sealed. The owner I got the car from was going to make it a ram air engine through the front headlights. The car has a clear title. The original color of this car is Laural mist with a forest green interior. Code is H H. We were going to do this car over for resale but got to busy to do it now,and don't want it to sit any longer. Paying customers come first. We at Super Duty restoration can also do this car for you it you like, look us up on the web, call to speak to us or email us through ebay and we will see what we can do for you. We also go from NY to NC about once a month and may be able to deliver the car to you for a fee. We also can arrange shipping though a shipper we have used before, with good results. Bidder with a feed back rating less then a 5 would need to call us or your bid will be taken down. No warranty If you need more info call 845 986-4399 EST. If we don't pick up leave a voice mail. Good luck
