1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Holiday Coupe Original Survivor - I purchased this car in 2011 from the second owner since 1972. It was sold new on December 17, 1969 at Biddulph Oldsmobile in Glendale, AZ, and then on June 27, 1972 at Trickett, Oldsmobile in Nashville, TN. 100% numbers matching born with driveline and W-30 related components throughout - no exceptions! The engine has never been removed. Very RARE special order Sebring Yellow, white stripe, white interior, 4 speed car. 100% rust free original no-hit sheet metal. Unrestored with one re-paint in the mid 80's which looks excellent! Original stripes, jams, and trunk have never been touched. All original interior with a Sun Super Tach which was purchased by the original owner. All lights, gauges, turn signals, AM radio, etc... work perfectly. Original glass including windshield, optional Delco Pleasurizer shocks, T-3 headlights, open face alternator, starter, radiator, and spare/jack/tools are original to the car. Complete no excuse documentation includes three build cards (which were photographed as they were removed from the interior), protect-o-plate, owner protection plan, purchase agreement, complete owners manual/literature, original interior delivery tags, dealer sales material, etc.... A very nice set of Oldsmobile dealer sales/product manuals are also included. Starts, runs, and drives excellent! This original 442 W-30 is the "Holy Grail" of Oldsmobile Coupes in complete unmolested, unrestored, original condition! Just completed a frame-up restoration, on s straight, no rust body. Car is a "true" 1965 (first year) 442 (Vin checks), Has the "4V" designation on vin plate (Lansing built) but does not have the original engine. It has a 1965 dated 425, completely professionally rebuilt, with only s few miles. Car has new clutch, all new front suspension, wiring. Original four speed Muncie transmission works great. Car was stripped, dismantled, repainted correct "Target" red with black, bucket seat interior. New rubber trim (doors, trunk, windshield). Correct console with factory tach and correct shifter (with 442 markings)..Correct original factory (new) headers, exhaust, etc...Chrome is good, not "show.."
