You can still be "KING OF THE HILL". After years in storage this rare Oldsmobile is ready for your garage. Nosed, decked, lowered 3" and fitted with these timeless Fiesta spinners we love the look of this classic. This cool mild custom runs and drives very nicely. There are a few mechanical issues that any "backyard mechanic" can fix. the rear wheel cylinders, the right axle seal, the rear axle seal and the carburetor leak. The left tie rod has play. all these concerns are normal for a car that was stored for some time. This is a great cruise night classic that has tremendous upside potential and at our price it won't break the bank - a win/win. $16900 Only close offers will be considered. As with all the cars we offer, we encourage independent inspection. With amazing pinstriping on the outside, and a very clean interior inside, this is the type of car you'll want to put straight into your collection. Then there's a heavily upgraded Rocket V8 under the hood, too. So let's just hope you can get through reading all of the details before someone else snatches this one up. The paint on this coupe is one of the most interesting you'll ever find. It combines a nice luster of light blue and has a few rat rod touches to it as well. This might seem a bit odd to a few people but the red pinstriping completes this whole package in a way that an interesting artistic expression only can. The reason why it's so artful is the previous owner, a pinstripe professional, did all the intricate detail work. This is a rolling showcase of his talent, and it's pretty impressive with bright red stripes that highlight each of the trim pieces. But if you look a little closer you'll see trick features like the hand-painted air vents on the rear fenders that mirror those under the headlights. This Olds has plenty of other hot rod touches such as the Dietrich windshield visor, spotlights, vented hood, and red steelies behind the bright hubcaps and wheel trim. But underneath all these cool details is a well restored vehicle that has straight bodylines and complete trim with great chrome. The interior was restored and doesn't stray too far from the original formula. The velour seating surfaces offer a level of comfort that's a cut above most other hot rod's vinyl. Matching light blue carpets were fitted and give the car an upscale feeling and there's a correct headliner overhead. The original steering wheel offers just about the coolest horn button we've ever seen, further cementing Oldsmobile's fascination with the jet age. The dash is a wonderfully simple setup with a round instrument panel and a neat row of knobs on either side. Auxiliary gauges were installed under the dash to monitor the Rocket V8 and there's an AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit for entertainment purposes. The trunk is neatly finished and remarkably spacious under that fastback roofline, so it's ready to cruise. The reason why the engine bay looks ready for the car show is not only because all the belts, wires, and hoses look new, but also the whole Oldsmobile 324 cubic inch OHV V8 benefits from a full rebuild in 2010. There were vintage speed parts added to the restoration that included the Rochester J2 factory tri-power setup that boldly sits on top of this V8. These look especially good with the finned classic Offenhauser valve covers. The electrical system is upgraded to 12 volts with an alternator, but the rest remains the way GM built it in 1950. All of this is backed by a rodder's favorite HydraMatic automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2012. With 3.36 gears out back, it's happy to cruise at 65 MPH without working very hard, and it always feels punchy around town with a great hit of low-end torque. The custom dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers offers a retro sound, and the big wide whitewalls makes it look like it's ready to cruise the boulevard. This is a bold hot rod with so many custom touches that people can't help but stop and stare. If you're quick enough, this amazingly affordable classic Olds can be yours. Of course, the OHV Rocket V8 engine was just the beginning, but it launched a performance revolution that we're still enjoying today. Even by the mid-50s, Oldsmobile was delivering big performance with a healthy dose of luxury to match, creating a unique niche in the GM hierarchy. If you wanted a car that could run with the big Pontiacs, yet offered the luxury of a Buick or Cadillac, the 88 was the smart choice. The two-tone black and white paint conveys a dramatic elegance that you want from an Oldsmobile. Because these are very demanding colors, this is a professional respray that still has plenty of 50s-style gloss when taken out into the sunshine. Of course the tall whitewall tires continue this motif with Cragar wire wheels as the crown jewel in the center. All the sheetmetal appears factory original and expertly restored to show standards. Cool details like the globe hood emblem and bullet-shaped taillights remain, and all the stainless trim pieces have been mirror polished. Plus, both bumpers have taken a trip to the chrome shop and came back looking like new. This is an extremely nice Olds that most passers-by will notice that someone really sweated the details on this one. The Holiday hardtop coupe style means that people have a clear view of the interior, so it's quite nice to see that the black and white wow factor continues on the inside. The moment you open the door, everything looks pristine and glowing. There was plenty of money invested in keeping the items like the seats, door panels, headliner all looking new even the glovebox liner looks factory-fresh! Intricate interior style was the calling card for these vehicles, and so for everything to be in place is particularly impressive. And you can even still use it for practical purposes with items like the heater/defroster working perfectly. Oldsmobile's famous Rocket V8 lives under the hood, ready to drive and enjoy immediately. Thanks to a big horsepower injection in 1956, it makes 240 horsepower from its 324 cubic inches. It's a spirited performer on the road thanks to a broad torque curve and a quick-shifting three-speed GM automatic transmission. It starts easily thanks to a 12-volt electrical system, and idles with a healthy rumble from the exhaust. The engine bay looks amazing with its factory four-barrel Rochester carburetor, the original-style Oldsmobile green block, and hand-painted pinstriping on the air cleaner. It's a comfortable cruiser thanks to power steering and the fact that those cool whitewalls are actually modern BF Goodrich tires. We've got the maintenance records and restoration receipts to prove this Olds is as superb as it appears. This is power and elegance that's ready to hit the road right now. Big, comfortable, and able to effortlessly cruise across the country, this is first-class travel the way it was meant to be. There's a lot of sheetmetal here, and the good news is that it's all in excellent shape. The yellow paint appears to be a special order color identified by "SPECIAL" on the cowl tag; it's a bit brighter than Omega Yellow, which was available that year, and we have to say that it looks great on the full-sized Olds. It was repainted a few years ago, but this is otherwise a good original car that's led an easy life, so the sheetmetal lines up well, the doors close firmly, and it looks quite crisp overall. The white rub strip was reinstalled after that paint was dry and as far as we can tell, this was a trim-off job that looks very sharp around all the edges. Details like the urethane rubber fillers between the body and bumpers are in excellent condition and all the lenses are bright and clear, another indicator of a car that's lived indoors. And like most luxury cars of the '70s, there's plenty of chrome, including the bumpers, grille, headlight surrounds and windshield frame. The white interior appears to be almost entirely original, which, again, will give you some indication of how well-maintained this car really is. The driver's seat shows some minor wear, mostly in the high-traffic area where someone would slide behind the wheel, but there's nothing in need of replacement. Black carpets are probably a bit newer than the rest and look great, while the back seat is very well preserved. The dash pad and the woodgrained inserts are excellent with no fading or cracking, and you'll note that this car's list of accessories include A/C (still fully operational), power windows, cruise control, and a tilt steering column. Gauges are crisp and bright, if only covering the basics, and even the original AM/FM radio is still doing its thing in the middle of the dash. The white power convertible top is GM's "scissor" design that permits a full-width rear seat and includes a glass rear window and matching white boot. The trunk is neatly finished with original-style mouse-fur pad and a matching spare assembly. Oldsmobile's 350 cubic inch V8 doesn't share any major components with other divisions' small block motors, and that's entirely a good thing. It's torquey and smooth with a distinctly different personality than comparable Chevy or Pontiac motors. The engine bay looks largely original, with a factory air cleaner up top, traditional Oldsmobile Gold engine enamel, and plenty of evidence of proper maintenance over the years. With your full-sized convertible, power steering and brakes were standard equipment, and this one includes a smooth-shifting TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and highway-friendly gears out back. A mellow dual exhaust system gives it just the right sound for its luxurious mission and with air shocks on the rear axle, it's ideally set up for parades with the homecoming queen perched on the rear seat. Interesting factory alloy wheels are a neat accessory and wear correct 225/70/15 Goodyear whitewall radials with a very period tread pattern. In terms of bang for the buck, full-sized convertibles like this are hard to beat. How can you not love its combination of style, open-air motoring, and V8 power? 1965 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Holiday Coupe Big Block Olds 425 V8. Was a project that my buddy bought and ended up not having the space for. I bought it after he had replaced the floors and welded in patches for most of the rusted through spots along the bottom edges of the car. It had been sitting in a field for a decade so it rusted at the bottom. Anyways, long story short, car is basically stripped now interior wise and ready for someone who wants to finish it. there is at least $3k or $4k between the patches metal work and the extra parts that come with the car. Motor runs good, and starts easy. all new hoses and points, plugs, wires etc. also have an edelbrock 4 barrel intake and a 1411 edelbrock 750cfm carb that comes with(came off a running 350, just needs to be put on and tuned). has new brake lines all the way around. comes with new brake shoes for all 4 corners, and 4 new wheel cylinders to round it out. come with a set of newer shocks. I think the heater box was repaired or replaced(not sure on that) all the glass is good I believe. Also comes with an intake manifold pan gasket for the new manifold. comes with brand new carpet, as well as almost all new seals for the trunk, doors and windows etc. and I believe all the trim is here as well. there may have been one piece missing but he bought it before I bought the car from him so it should all be there. it's sitting on newer tires as well I believe. Clean open title. It does still need work. Not sure on the miles 'cus the speedo doesn't work. There's a bit of rust through on the top of the gas tank along the seam. and there needs to be a couple holes drilled in the new floor metal to re-mount the seat(which will be taken care of before buyer picks it up). interior is completely stripped so it can be cleaned and possibly redone although it's not in the worst shape ever. Headliner is still in it and needs to be replaced or stitched up maybe. The car was originally bought with the intention of just being ratted out and driven. Original plan was for a Blitz Black paint job and a heavy foot. Once I got it, I toyed with the idea of finding new quarters and all that, and doing it up "right" but it's really just not one of my cars. I'm a Ford guy personally. I did find leads on all the parts but it's just not worth the money to me. If you're interested in this as a rat rod or for parts or as a beater you won't be disappointed, if you want to restore it and make it all slicked out and nice, you better have a lot of time and about $10k to drop on it. That being said, it runs and drives and really doesn't need much to be a fun rat rod. I urge you to ask any questions before you buy so I can try and find out from the previous owner. Local pickup only unless you are willing to set up shipping yourself. Thanks! *****DISCLAIMER***** ALL ITEMS FAIRLY AND HONESTLY DESCRIBED ALL ITEMS ARE AS-IS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED NO RETURNS ACCEPTED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID SHIPPING PRICES SHOWN ARE TO THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES ONLY UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED INTERNATIONAL BUYERS MUST REQUEST SHIPPING QUOTE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT REQUIRED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ANY ITEM OFFERED WITH FREE SHIPPING IS TO THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES ONLY UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ITEMS USUALLY SHIP WITHIN 1 TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS OF PAYMENT, BUT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO A PERIOD OF UP TO 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO CONFIRM PAYPAL PAYMENT LEGITIMACY AND TO PREVENT UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES OR IDENTITY THEFT

It is a great car. Some work, paint, head liner, tlc. It has original spoke wheels, green velour interior with R B for Royal Brougham, and body by Fisher. It is a classic car, and I am only the second owner. I bought it from the original owners family. Good tires, new brakes, a great and fun car to drive and ride in. I have not seen many like this, only one that has been refurbished and what a neat car. This will be a great find and to fix up by the right buyer. It is pick up only, and call for appointment; living in a gated community. It is cash only, no cashiers checks, title is clear. Bake light dash, air, just a neat car all around. I made a video for those that are serious buyers, please contact me for more information. It is not a Diesel, it is a V8. Please call me for appointment 714-345-1493

It's got a heck of a lot of presence, plenty of horsepower from a 350 cubic inch Olds V8, and I guarantee nobody else at the local cruise-in will have one like it. That's a lot of sheetmetal to restore and it must have taken months of work to get it all so straight. The sleek fastback profile is something you don't see often, and the Delmont 88 is a rather rare piece today. Obviously a relative of the Riviera (remember the Toronado went front-wheel-drive), it's one of GM's better-looking full-sized coupes and in black it looks like a heavyweight fighter in a tuxedo. In fact, almost every single part on the exterior of this car was dipped in that deep, rich paint, including the grille, bumpers, and even the windshield wipers. Most of the emblems were shaved, as were the side marker lights, and a subtle chin spoiler and a deck-mounted wing give it a sporting look. It's downright brutal to see this car in person, and you'd better get ready for an awful lot of people asking you about it, because this big Olds gets noticed! The interior came from the factory with a bunch of good stuff already baked right in, including bucket seats and a console, something you'd hardly expect from a full-sized Oldsmobile. The late-model seats have been neatly reupholstered so they look quite modern and the three-spoke steering wheel add a racy look the same way the win on the trunk does. The original gauges are set deep in three round nacelles and are joined by a set of auxiliary dials down low above the console. A modern Pyle head unit offers an iPod interface and a clean look in the center of the dash. This car also came with factory A/C, which is something you'd probably expect from a big luxury car like this. You'd also expect a giant back seat and a massive trunk, the latter of which shows zero rust or other issues, suggesting a car that's led a very easy life in a warm climate. Under that 442-style dual-snorkel air cleaner there's a rebuilt 350 cubic inch 1970 Olds Rocket V8 that pulls the big coupe around with ease. A big Rochester 4-barrel carburetor gives you right now throttle response and an HEI distributor ensures reliable starting and effortless performance. Stock exhaust manifolds keep it Oldsmobile quiet inside, but with a pair of growling mufflers out back, there's a nice rumble that matches the insidious look. The TH400 3-speed automatic transmission doesn't even blink at the power and weight it's managing and stock gears out back mean that it's an excellent highway cruiser. The undercarriage is unrestored, but at a glance, you'd think that someone has cleaned it up because the floors are excellent and there's just no evidence that this car ever spent any time up north. A stock suspension still rides well, even with those gigantic 20-inch wheels with black centers and 275/40/20 performance radials. Only built for two years and very skillfully upgraded, this Olds is a cool car for the dare to be different crowd. If you like them big and brutal, then this is the coupe for you. Classic 1955 Oldsmobile 88. This car is equipped with factory Power Steering - Power Brakes - Power Windows and Power Seat. This barn find car has been partially restored and most of the work looks to be done. Restoration was halted in the home stretch and this car has been in dry secure storage since. The heavy work appears to be finished and now it needs to be completed. *Frame was stripped and painted, body work has been done and the car has been painted*Small block Chevy V8 has been installed along with a freshly rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission*Motor is fully installed but needs to be wired in*Interior looks to be original and in good condition. Headliner will need to be replaced and it will need carpet*Front bodywork is painted and ready for reassembly*Chrome work is included with the car and needs to be reinstalled. Some pieces may need to be re-chromed Many many parts are included with this car. The car looks to be complete, everything needed to finish the re-assembly LOOKS to be with the car. I have not sat down with a complete parts list and matched it to all the pieces included but it appears to be all there. In addition to the parts of the car there are other items included as well like new brake pads and a good windshield. Really too many parts to list out. Again this is a barn find car and I did not do the restoration work. So the information given is from observation and in talking with family members. The only issue I have found is a few areas in the driver's side floor pan that will need to be repaired. Everything else seems to be reassembly and detail work. Email with any questions and I'll get you the best answers I can Thanks

Lots of room, a pillowy soft ride, and purring V8 power all make for a very unique driving experience that we'll never see again. With incredible preservation, this one will take you back to the great days of open-air cruising when American luxury made you feel like the king of the world. The color is called Silver Taupe and it looks just about right on this big Olds. Not aggressive, but rather sophisticated and elegant. It's also the car's original paint, and while it's not perfect, it is remarkably well-preserved for being more than 40 years old. You could give it a deep clean and a buff to really bring out the shine, but as it sits, it has a nice soft glow that makes you want to heat out west on a long road trip. Obviously with original paint the sheetmetal underneath is also original and in excellent condition and despite the era's reputation for excess, the Delta 88 is clean and chiseled without looking too baroque. A contrasting rub strip accentuates the car's clean flanks and a familiar Oldsmobile split grille up front was the corporate look during the mid-70s. Sure, there's some chrome, including a pair of bumpers as big as battering rams, but the overall presentation is restrained and trim. The black interior is also 100% original and shockingly well-preserved. Wide bench seats offer room for six and even the guys in the middle probably won't be complaining about space. There are no splits or tears in the seats, no major wear, just some very minor comfort marks that are probably inevitable. Neat trim on the doors adds a bit of interest to the otherwise monochromatic interior and even the faux woodgrain on the dash is pretty convincing. Power windows are a useful addition on any convertible and the AM/8-track radio provides reasonable entertainment if you happen to have some 8-track tapes lying around. The convertible top is also probably original and in good condition, and these big GM ragtops used a unique scissors mechanism that allowed for a full-width back seat as well as a glass rear window. There's a matching black boot for when the top is down and the trunk is outfitted with a correct rubber mat and full-sized spare. The 350 cubic inch "Rocket" V8 under the hood delivers plenty of power for effortless cruising and entertaining performance. No, these were never intended to be fast cars, but it has a graceful and inevitable feel and you just know that it was built to cruise all day at 80 MPH across the wide-open spaces. The engine bay is pretty original and not detailed for show, but there's plenty of recent maintenance, including a new radiator up front to keep it cool. It starts with a familiar Oldsmobile growl from the single tailpipe and idles smoothly enough that you can barely feel it through the steering wheel. As a full-sized car, the big Olds gets a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with 2.73 gears inside, so it's a superlative highway cruiser. The floors are in good condition for an original car, and it hasn't lost a bit of its impossibly smooth ride. Part of that is attributable to the cushy 225/75/15 Uniroyal radials, which have been fitted to the original wheels. With only three owners and a remarkable state of preservation, this Olds represents high-quality summer time fun at a very reasonable price.
