“1969 Chevelle Convertible recently restored. 1 of 8000 Chevelle Convertibles built in 1969. Yenko package - 427 cu. in., 450 hp, Muncie M-21 4 speed close ratio transmission with Hurst F41 Shifter. 12 bolt 3.73 posi-traction rear end F-41 suspension. Drivetrain from radiator to gas tank completely rebuilt. Has 900 miles on it. Triple black car - tuxedo black mint condition new callouts, bucket seat interior with factory console, new black convertible power top with boot. P.S., power disc brakes. Yenko style torque thrust alloy wheels w/BFG White lettered radial tires, chrome bumpers mint condition. Paperwork to verify all drive train work done by Dakota Muscle Cars of Sioux City, IA.”

An Original 283 that I rebuilt in 1987 with a 1965 big block 396 motor with 11-1/2 to one compression ratio popup pistons so numbers do not match. For extra kick, I installed three deuces as well as a complete intake manifold, linkage, pyramid shaped air cleaner and factory fuel bar all from a l967 Corvette. Lots of chrome work under the hood including the fender wells and Lakewood traction bars. It has MSD ignition, M-21 four speed, power steering, power front disc brakes and comes with five 1969 El Camino rally wheels and and five red lined tires. The body is arrow straight and the chrome is in perfect condition, however, there are two minor scratches on the hood. This is a street car and it is FAST!! The interior has bucket seats, center console, tach, and upgraded AM/FM radio with cassette player. As an upholsterer by trade, I refurbished the interior in black vinyl and upgraded carpeting. The convertible top is like new constructed of "Stay Fast" cloth material used on Mercedes 450 and 500 convertibles. The undercarriage is painted black. The jack, extra tire and manuals are included. The rear window is intact, it was just lying down on a towel when the pictures were taken. The car has been driven minimally since rebuilt and is stored year round in a closed garage. The 2015 registration is paid. Because of health issues which requires me to move, I am forced to sell this beauty and I have reduced the price a second time.
