This is a 1969 Chevy Chevelle Malibu that is a Rolling Body, Chassis, and Interior. NO Engine But I Do Have the Powerglide that was in it. Overall pretty Solid body, clean floors and straight frame, power steering, and a/c. It has a Bench seat and Warning Light Dash. I traded for this vehicle in its present condition. All I did was clean it up and obtain one fender well, new taillight lenses and new rear shocks. Originally it was a 307 v-8 automatic/ power glide. 10 bolt open differential. Missing windshield and drivers side quarter window glass, may have drivers door glass. Mostly complete otherwise. I have picked up a drivers side inner fender well which is included but not pictured. 1970 Chevelle Convertible. We have had this car for about eight years. We decided to restore the car , however we have several other projects also in the works so we decided to place the car on Ebay and let someone else choose their own color combination and upholstery and finish the car. We have completed about an %80 percent frame off restoration. New floor pans were installed and new quarter panels and the frame was cleaned and primed and epoxy painted semi gloss black. The 396 engine has almost no miles on the rebuild. It was rebuilt when we purchased it. The engine sounds and runs like a new engine should. An automatic transmission is connected to a 12 bolt rearend. We were told it is a posi rear end and it appears that is correct. The car has boxed control arms and front disc brakes and SS dash , power steering and power disc brakes and power top. The car yard drives . The wiring will have to be completed. It has a new cadium plated power booster and new stainless steel fuel lines and new gas tank. When the body was removed from the rotisserie all new body bushings were replaced. This will be an easy finish to complete the frame off rotisserie restoration we have all ready started. All the hard work and biggest expenses including labor , rebuilt engine , new sheet metal and so on are already done. If you have any questions just email us and we will get back to you. 1968 CHEVELLE SS This is an extremely nice 1968 Chevelle true SS car. The engine is a 396 (Casting #3935440 dated Feb, 1968). I am not able to tell if it is the original engine or not because someone has scratched the deck pad making it impossible to read. All I can make out is "8B" in the vin portion of the stamp and what appears to be either a C or G as the last letter in the suffix code. Since this is a 68 block and there is no suffix code that ends in a "C" for 1968, it would most conceivably be a "G". With that said, the only 396 suffix code that ends in "G" is an "EG" code which would make this a 375hp engine. I can not state with certainty that this is the case but I am including photos of what can be seen on the deck pad so you can draw your own conclusion. The car has a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission and 3.07:1 Rear. The paint and body are excellent, lazer straight. All guages, lights, etc work correctly. The car has a slight cam and sounds excellent. The car appears to have been well cared for throughout its life. A perfect driver that will definitely win at local car shows.
