At Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale sale in 2010, a nice-looking 1972 Heavy Chevy with a 307 and a three-speed automatic, said to have 7,000 original miles and supporting paperwork, sold for $27,500. A recent online auction for a beautifully restored 1971 Heavy Chevy topped out at $16,300 and the seller opted to keep the car. Popular price guides put Heavy Chevy values at $10,000 on the low end, $20,000 on average and $35,000 on the high end. If you're considering a project car, a Heavy Chevy Chevelle would make an excellent candidate. The parts availability is among the best of any car of its vintage and the knowledge base is widespread.

THANK YOU. 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 4-speed -- $42,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 300 classic cars and trucks. I own the entire inventory and know each vehicle well. I don’t offer consignments but will occasionally list a vehicle for a family member or friend. I currently sell 90% of my classic cars and trucks privately on various websites and 10% of my classic cars and trucks at the Barrett Jackson auto auctions. I’ve had many vehicles sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles at multiple Barrett Jackson auctions. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’ve also featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I also have had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. However, currently I’m not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I opened the new facility located in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 2012. MS CLASSIC CARS is closed to the public but available by appointment Monday-Friday. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale between the current inventory and coming soon page. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll consider all trades. If you’d like to be added to the MS CLASSIC CARS VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like MS CLASSIC CARS on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! MarketI've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. I’m just a 39 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. The bottom line is I went all in. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” Marc Schiliro – The Owner Description1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 4-speed THIS IS A REAL 1970 CHEVELLE SS BASED ON THE 13637 VIN NUMBER! SEARCH THE INTERNET FOR A REAL 1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS THAT HAS A DESIRABLE COLOR COMBINATION WITH BUCKET SEATS, 454, 4-SPEED AND EVERYTHING ELSE LISTED ABOVE. YOU’LL FIND THERE AREN’T MANY ON THE MARKET FOR SALE! You’re about to witness a really sweet 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS that I’ve spent a lot of time and money making right. This is a real SS as the 13637 VIN number indicates. I purchased the car from a friend in Massachusetts who owned and enjoyed the car for roughly 6 years. He’s a small collector and only put roughly 300 miles on the car. He purchased it from a gentleman in Lake Havasu, Arizona who finished restoring the car. The car had only 2000 miles on the restoration when he bought it. As the VIN number indicates the car was built in Arlington, Texas. From what I’ve gathered the car spends its life out west and was a very solid car prior to the restoration. From what I’ve gathered it retains all of the original sheet metal with exception of the rear quarters. I can’t document this but it appears to be accurate. The body is very straight and the gaps are very nice. The hood, doors and trunk open and close excellent. As the cowl tag indicates this car was born Autumn Gold with a black vinyl top and black interior. The cowl tag paint code is #58 with B which is the black vinyl top. During the restoration the owner decided to change the exterior color to Cortez silver metallic with black racing stripes. He also decided to keep the vinyl top and replaced it with a new one. This color is striking and very popular among 1970 Chevelle enthusiasts. The paint on this car is beautiful and in very nice condition. It only has a few imperfections that most classic cars have. Please call me and I’ll go over the entire exterior with you over the phone. MS CLASSIC CARS has recently buffed it to a show quality shine. Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced including such items as the front windshield, stainless trim, front and rear bumpers, door handles, bumpers, lights, emblems, etc. MS CLASSIC CARS replaced all the fender trim, rear windshield and restored the rear window stainless trim. The side glass is in great shape and appears to be original. All of the rubber and window felts were also replaced. The car looks great and has serious eyeballs. It sits on correct style SS wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s that are 245-60-15 all the way around. As the cowl tag indicates this cars original interior color was black which was trim code #756. The car has bucket seats with a console which is a desirable combination. Since I don’t have any paperwork I’m not 100% certain if these were factory options. The interior in this car is beautiful and feels right at home. Everything in the interior has been completely restored or replaced. Some of these items include the headliner, dash, dash knobs and switches, SS gauge cluster, steering wheel, door panels, seats, carpet, console, etc. Everything in the interior is in working order such as the gauges, dome light, window wipers, horn, heat, windows roll up and down smoothly, etc. It’s also equipped with a Sony CD player with two speakers up front. 1968-1972 Chevelles have a lot of interior room which makes them very comfortable. The trunk compartment is in very nice condition and was repainted with the splatter paint. Please note there is no spare tire or jack. This is something the new owner can purchase inexpensively if they desire. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the rebuilt 454 V8. The original drivetrain was long gone so while the car was being painted the acquired 454 engine, 4-speed transmission and 12-bolt rear end were all being rebuilt. The 454 engine casting number is #3999289 which indicates it was from a 1972-1978 Chevrolet truck. Although I don’t have the specs on the engine was rebuilt with some upgraded equipment. It’s been dressed with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. It also has an HEI ignition system with Taylor wires. This engine starts and runs excellent. It has a lot of power when you open the Edelbrock 4-barrell carburetor. The engine runs at the correct temperature with the correct radiator. The engine breathes through the factory correct style exhaust manifolds and into a 2 ½ Flow Master exhaust system that sounds great. The engine is coupled to a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly. The power is transferred to the pavement through the rebuilt 12-bolt rear end. Keep in mind this entire restoration has less than 2500 miles. MS CLASSIC CARS has completely serviced this engine including adjusting the timing, new AC Delco spark plugs, new Taylor wires, oil/filer change and much more. This baby is ready to rock and roll! The undercarriage is also nicely detailed with many new parts. From what I’ve gathered it has all the original floors. Everything has been restored or replaced. It has the factory correct front and rear heavy duty sway bars. It’s also equipped with power steering and power brakes with front disc. MS CLASSIC CARS has completely refreshed the undercarriage. Once again…. MS CLASSIC CARS RECENTLY INVESTED OVER $9000.00 IN SERVICING THIS CAR AND I HAVE THE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT. CALL ME DIRECTLY AND I’LL GO OVER EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CAR IN MORE DETAIL. “As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold many beautiful Chevelles over the years. I’m a huge fan of the 1968-1972 Chevelles and always will be. The 1970 Chevelle is one of the most collectable American muscle cars of all time. It’s a great looking car that always draws a crowd. The car you’re looking at is a real 1970 Chevelle SS. It’s got a beautiful color combination of silver metallic with black stripes and a black vinyl top. The black interior with bucket seats and 4-speed console really puts the icing on the cake. This car has a built 454 under the hood that has some strong power but is also very user friendly to operate. This engine starts with the flip of the key and purrs like a kitten. The engine is coupled to a 4-speed and 12-bolr rear end. MS CLASSIC CARS has invested over $9000.00 into servicing and refreshing this car. All of the invoices will be included with the car. This Chevelle is a really nice driver but not a #1 condition trailer queen. It’s been priced accordingly. Finding a car comparable to this one isn’t an easy task especially in the price range I’ve listed it for. I would challenge anyone to find a comparable car for less. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner Inspection ReportUnfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 300 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that all the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchase all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I’m currently selling 80% of my vehicles within 30 days of listing them for sale. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Please read my testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity! This is a very honest, straight forward 1970 Chenille Malibu. It is a 350 with a 350 automatic transmission. I daily drove this car for 2 summers before parking it where it has sat for two years. I am selling this as a running driving car however I have not had it on the road in a while. I will get it running before the buyer takes possession of the car but I'm not buying plugs and a battery before I know someone is committed to buy the car. This car has been super reliable to me and I hate to let her go but she is not getting use and it deserves to be finished and on the road, and I do not have the money to properly finish her. Mileage is what is on title, odometer could have rolled over but I do not know because Its a new to me odometer unit from a friends car. This car only has rust in one spot, shown in pictures, the cowl panel where the windshield wipers mount. I could not find a donor part and a reproduction part was not yet made when I had the body work done. The part only costs $370 and install is simple for a body shop. Other than that, the car is a brand new shell with a rebuilt motor that just needs your personal touches on it like paint, wheels and tires and it is a finished car. I have a full interior kit, most of which has not been installed (need a professional for the headliner). Its from Year One and factory black style. I have all the trim and many pieces not on the car in the pictures, I don't see a point in putting it on and risking taking it off when it goes in for paint, so the trim has remained off until its finished and painted. I have the flapper door for the cowl induction hood and the logo and trim, its a real original steel cowl hood given to me by a friend off his car. What has been done: full floor pan - one piece welded in factory spotsfull trunk floor pan - one piece welded in factory spotstrunk lid - bought off a cop from his 70 chevelle, I have the original toocowl induction hood (i have flapper door, not pictured) - given to me from a friend off his 70 SS carfull quarters - original vin #s in factory spotwheel wells, front and rearfront fenderspassenger doorinner and outer rockersnew griffin race radiator - supports 925 hp, out of a friends chevellenew tilt column (original rebuilt chevy column bought from column rebuilding specialist)power brake upgrade for drum brakes - this car STOPSnew super fast ratio steering gearbox (less turns end to end to turn car)grant steering wheelcustom autosound brand speakers and stereo (factory look with iPod integration, usb port, auxiliary cable input etc hidden and built in)bucket seats (car came with bench) - bought off cop with trunk lidfull interior (bought a full kit, headliner and detail pieces not installed) - all parts not installed come with the carseats recovered and new seat foam installed2 sets of wheels, one are rally wheels from my uncles 71 chevelle and the other centerline wheels came with the car, needs tiresbody mounts replaced during rust repairsummit racing 2.5" dual exhaustnew gas tank and fuel sending unitnew starter Like I said, this car was daily driven for two summers, the engine is solid. As you can see all the rust repair is DONE minus the cowl panel, this car is ready for paint. My trip to the body shop for the rust repair totaled $28,000 with parts and labor. I have pictures documenting the rust repair, it was done by a very talented body guy who does movie cars in RI. Like I said this car is honest, try and find a car for this price that has no rust and body filler throughout it, Ive done the work for you. When you start getting into these old cars, no matter how they look you start finding rust somewhere, this car is very fairly priced for having someone go through, discover and fix the rust issues. Car is primed over bare metal, it hides nothing. Issues with car: Like I said, the cowl panel needs to be replaced. This car has not run for two years but I will have help from my mechanic buddy to have it back to road worthy. I would say you could drive it home but the tires are dry rotted and need to be replaced. If you live local, then come pick up the tires and title, pay for the car, throw new tires on it and get plates and registration, and drive it home. Interior needs to be finished, I put the seat covers on but did not fully secure them at the bottom, take it to a real interior guy to have them finished. There is surface rust on the trunk lid, I also have the original but that has actual rust damage, not surface rust. The shocks were replaced when I bought the car, but after sitting they may need to be replaced as well. Pretty much everything that needs work is a result of the car sitting but like I said, it was a reliable summer daily driver. Price is firm, the car has a lot of work into it and is in a great spot for you to spend little money in it and have a classic car built just the way you want it, while avoiding all the major restoration. Just paint and finishing touches and your cruising. You can find painted cars for this price, but whats hiding under the paint? Is the car finished the way YOU would like it done? This is your chance for a blank slate to build a car just how you would like it, I see no other Chevelles available on eBay like that. You will figure out shipping and transportation of this car, it is not registered and has no plates. Im not driving it anywhere, pick it up with cash in hand and if you would like to take the title and rims, you can go get new tires mounted (tire shop around the corner from my house) and drive it away. No warranty at all, car sold as is, its a straight honest car, I've given you all the details and have receipts and photos to back it up. If your looking at this car, I'm sure you know what you're getting into, open that wallet up. If you want a cheap car, buy a Toyota. Ask any questions, ill do my best to take pictures, but a picture only shows so much. I expect a serious buyer to look this car over. I will ship this car if you arrange to have it picked up but thats it, Im hoping for someone to come in person and get it.

THANK YOU. 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Custom -- $43,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’m a regular consignor at the Mecum auctions as well. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! Two years ago I opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public on Saturdays. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. We except all trades. If you’d like to be added to our VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like us on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 38 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. Description1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Custom THIS IS ONE BEAUTIFUL AND WELL BUILT CLASSIC CAR THAT RUNS AND DRIVES AMAZING! 589HP. YES THIS BEAST WAS DYNO TESTED AT 589HP! THIS CAR DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD BEAUTIFULLY! This car was built in Fremont, CA as a real SS 396 as both the VIN number and trim tag indicates! It was originally painted rare Grecian Green and had black bucket seats as the trim tag also indicates! This car has been completely restored from top to bottom very low mileage since! From what I’ve gathered and researched it retains all or mostly all of the original sheet metal. The body is straight and the gaps are tight. The hood, doors and trunk open and close as tight as a bank vault! The exterior was painted in its original rare Grecian Green color. This color is beautiful and gets a lot of compliments. The paint is very nice and worthy of calling it show quality! Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the glass, stainless trim, bumpers, lights, emblems, etc! The car is wrapped in new American 15” Torque Thrust wheels with 225/70/15 Copper Cobra front tires and 275/60/15 Nitto Extreme Drag rear tires. This car has a mean stance! The black interior is beautiful and in great overall condition. This car originally came with a black interior with bucket seats when it left the factory! Everything in the interior has been restored or replaced including such items as the dash, seat covers, door panels, carpet, headliner, etc. It has very tasteful black and silver Autometer Gauges with white LED background lights, Billet matte black steering wheel, Hurst pistol grip shifter and a Rockford Fosgate Ipod setup and Image Dynamics speakers! The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the massive 496 engine with 589HP! The engine in this beast was professionally built with many quality parts. The engine was dyno tested at 589HP prior to me purchasing the car and that dyno sheet is included. This engine has been completely tuned and runs amazing! This engine starts immediately and warms up very quickly. It runs on normal high octane pump gas with no issues. I can’t say enough about how user friendly this engine is. Some of the engine upgrades include such items as Dart aluminum heads, Comp cam, PBM Hyd lifters and HD balancer, Edlebrock polished intake and aluminum timing cover, Holley High Performance street 750CFM carburetor and fuel pump, Chevrolet polished valve covers and air cleaner, chrome alternator, MSD ignition, polished pulleys and Optima red top battery! The engine breathes through Hooker Super Competition ceramic headers with Flow Master mufflers! The engine is coupled with a Richmond 5-speed transmission with overdrive. It has a Hurst shifter with pistol grip. This is one of the best transmissions on the market and very expensive. The power is put to the pavement through a built 12 bolt rear end with POSI traction! Power Steering and Power brakes with front disc setup! The trunk compartment is painted with a slight gloss finish and home to the spare tire! The undercarriage is also nicely detailed with satin black floors. Everything underneath this car has been restored or replaced. It has QA1 adjustable shocks! “The 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle was the first year for the new Chevelle design which is one of the most recognized muscle cars of all time. In 1968 the VIN number still indicated if the car was a SS model. They changed this in 1969 forward which makes it very hard to know what Chevelles were real SS cars from the factory. The body on this car is very solid and the doors open and close like a safe. This car left the factory in rare Grecian Green which it’s painted today. The car also left the factory with black bucket seats which it still retains today. The interior has tasteful upgrades. The heart of this beast is a built 496 with 589HP! It has the Dyno sheets to prove it. It’s been so dialed in by my shop it starts and runs like a small block. Yes, it runs on pump gas. I’ve collected and sold many muscle cars over the years and this is one of the fastest. The Richmond 5-speed transmission with overdrive is great. I would challenge anyone to find a 1968-1972 Chevelle that has everything this car has to offer in this price range. Good luck with that. Get it before some else does!” Marc Schiliro – “The Owner” ***I SOLD THIS CAR IN AUGUST OF 2014 LOCALLY TO A GOOD FRIEND WHO ALSO HAPPENS TO OWN ONE OF THE SHOPS I USE FOR SERVICING MY CLASSIC VEHICLES. HE IS A VERY PARTICULAR PERSON WHICH SAYS A LOT ABOUT THIS IS A CAR AS IT PASSED HIS TEST. HE HAS COMPLETELY GONE THROUGH THIS CAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AND DRIVEN IT ROUGHLY 500 MILES OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS TAKING IT TO CAR SHOWS, ETC. HE LOVES THE CAR BUT NEEDS TO SELL IT TO INVEST MONEY INTO HIS GROWING BUSINESS. I’M DOING HIM A FAVOR AND HELPING HIM SELL IT. THE SALE WILL GO THROUGH HIM DIRECTLY BUT I’M HANDLING EVERYTHING. HE’S AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE IF NEED BE. THANK YOU. *** Inspection Report"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. We’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 250 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that ALL the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear were not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchases all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answers all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited myr website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I'lll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Thank you for the opportunity! Description1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Custom 460 “ONE OF THE BEST”! THIS CAR WAS RESTORED BY WELL-KNOWN JEFF SOMMERS WHO WORKS DIRECTLY FOR THE PPG AUTOMOTIVE PAINT COMPANY. JEFF HAS DONE IT ALL WITH PPG FROM TEACHING AT THE BODYSHOP TO BEING A FIELD REP. I’VE HAD A FEW CLASSIC CARS RESTORED BY JEFF THAT HAVE SOLD IN THE $100,000 PRICE RANGE. HE BUILT THIS CAR FOR HIMSELF BUT DECIDED TO SELL IT TO ME. I ADDED MY OWN TOUCHES TO IT. IT’S AN OVER THE TOP RESTORATION WITH LESS THEN 250 TEST MILES AND ONE THE BEST I’VE EVER SEEN! This car was originally sold at Ardery Chevrolet located in Windsor, Connecticut and purchased by Edward Lawton as the original warranty protection card and plate indicate. It spent its entire life in Connecticut. Jeff purchased it from a gentleman who owned it since 1995 as the title indicates! This was a complete frame off rotisserie restoration with no corners cut through the process. The frame was blasted, smoothed out, primed and painted gloss black. All of the sheet metal was replaced with exception of the roof. All OEM sheet metal was used with exception of the rear quarters and wheel houses. Countless hours were spent making sure the fit and finish work was second to none. The gaps are excellent and much better than they ever came from the factory. The hood, doors and trunk open and close effortlessly. The doors on this Chevelle close so nice and sound. The body was worked and is laser straight! The exterior was painted silver metallic which looks absolutely stunning. Keep in mind it was painted by Jeff who works directly for PPG. This is a high-end show quality paint job that is worth a lot of cash. The silver paint is complimented with black racing stripes and a black vinyl top which is total eye candy! Everything on the exterior is brand new such as all the glass, stainless trim, windshield cowl, wipers, door handles, grill, door handles, bumpers, lights, etc. It was treated with modern black SS emblems on the front fenders and rear deck lid. Trim parts red 454 numbers were placed under the SS on the front fenders which match the red calipers perfectly. If you didn’t notice it also was treated with two sport style mirrors on both the driver and passenger door. The passenger door mirror was fabricated to fit! The car has a great stance on the custom built BOZE Forged Lateral-G three piece wheels that are 19” on the front and 20” on the rear. There wrapped with Nitto Invo tires that are 255/40/19 on the front and 275/40/20 on the rear. These wheels and tires take over a month to build and are almost $5000 all said and done! When you enter the interior of this beauty you become lost in love. Everything in the interior is brand new such as the headliner, dash pad, dash cluster, heater control lense, knobs, door panels and hardware, seats, carpet, rear deck panel, etc. The driver’s door panel has a manual control for exterior mirror. The rear seat has seat belts. The interior has many upgrades that include a brushed Classic Dash with Auto Meter with carbon fiber ultra-light gauges, 15.5” Budnick Velocity steering wheel, Pro Car reclining bucket seats with seat belts, Pilot pedals, Pioneer AVH-X7500BT flip up screen head unit with radio, sat radio, CD, Bluetooth, iPod connect and navigation features, custom kick panel speakers and custom carpeted SS floor mats. Everything in this interior works as it should! The engine compartment is insanely beautiful and home to the magnificent 460 big block. The firewall was painted silver to match the exterior and the inner fenders were left black which ties in the exterior color combination perfectly. This engine compartment is extremely detailed and one of the best I’ve seen! The engine is a 454 bored .30 over to a 460. It was built exactly like an engine with 540HP and is a beast. It starts almost immediately and runs excellent. Although the engine has tons of power and great sound, it’s very user friendly. Some of the engine features include a forged nitrated crank, forged rods and pistons, fully balanced assembly, Edelbrock top end kit which is aluminum heads and endurashine intake, Chevrolet valve covers, Holley 850 carburetor, March Serpentine chrome air cleaner, March Serpentine pulley system, Weiand aluminum water pump, Moroso oil pan, ARP bolts throughout, 300 PSI Russell fuel lines and fittings, chrome alternator, Thundervolt ignition system, etc. Everything in the engine compartment is new such as wiring, hoses, battery, etc! The engine is cooled by a heavy duty aluminum core radiator with dual electric fans. It runs at 180 degrees with no overheating issuses. It also has a custom radiator support show panel which looks beautiful! The engine breathes through Hooker ceramic headers and a complete Pypes 3” stainless exhaust system with polished resonators and exhaust tips. It was tig welded and done correctly. This exhaust sounds sweet! The engine is coupled to a completely rebuilt M22 4-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter and Billet shift knob. It has a heavy duty clutch system which makes shifting a breeze but allows for serious power. The power is transferred through a new Drive Shaft Company driveshaft with heavy duty U-joints and a 12-bolt rear end with Eaton posi unit setup. The rear end has Moser axles with 3” studs, Billet pinion yoke, Moser rear end cover and 3:55 gears! The car has a complete power steering unit with a Billet power steering pump and bracket. This car steers very tightly and goes straight down the road! The car has a complete power four wheel disc brake setup. This setup includes a chrome 8” booster with vacuum pump, chrome master cylinder and a CPP big brake kit with red calipers and drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. These brakes look and work excellent! The trunk compartment floor is all new and painted in a light gray color like the factory did! The undercarriage of this car is also over-the-top and show quality. This undercarriage is so detailed you need to bring mirrors with you to high light it at car shows. As mentioned above the frame was painted gloss black. The floors were painted the color as the exterior. The paint on these floors is nicer than a lot of classic vehicles exterior paint. It has a stainless gas tank which adds a lot of character from the rear! The front and rear suspension is all new with many upgrades including the front sway bar, springs, etc. It has UMI control arms and sway bars. It also has QA1 adjustable shocks in the rear with allow you to set the height. This car rides very smooth and has no rattles! This vehicle has received a complete classic car detail by MS CLASSIC CARS valued at $400.00! “As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold many beautiful Chevelles over the years. Some of these Chevelles have sold for top dollar privately and at Barrett Jackson auctions. I’ve also seen hundreds of Chevelles over the years at car shows and auctions. This Chevelle is truly one of the best I’ve ever owned or seen. This is a car where the photos do it no justice. Yes, not even my photos, LOL. It was restored by one of the best and it has a ton of character. If you’ve been searching for a 68-72 Chevelle that was custom but not so custom it didn’t look or feel like a Chevelle from the factory you’ve met your match. Although this Chevelle is a high-end show car it was built to drive. It starts up almost immediately and runs great. It also drives great down the road. It has a very simple and clean look with a beautiful color combination. It also has nice touches such as the emblems and wheels. The interior has the perfect touch of old and new with such items as the gauges, seats and stereo unit. The engine compartment and undercarriage is extremely detailed. I would challenge anyone to find a comparable car for less! If this car is more than your budget I would suggest financing it. MS CLASSIC CARS is setup with a classic car finance company that offers very competitive rates and terms with only 10% down. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner Inspection Report"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. Description1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Custom “THIS CHEVELLE IS SERIOUS EYE CANDY”! This was a professional frame off rotisserie restoration with no expense spared with less than 100 test miles. It was done by a well-known body shop in Florida by the owner who built the car for himself but decided to sell it! Listed below are photos of the body off the frame. This car was completely stripped and started from scratch. The frame was stripped, smoothed, primed and painted gloss black. The body was worked and made extremely straight with great gaps. This is one of the best Chevelle bodies I’ve ever owned or seen. The hood, doors and trunk open and close beautifully! The exterior was painted in Synergy Green which is a great color that makes a statement. The paint on this car is truly stunning and is higher end show quality. To put the icing on the cake white racing stripes were then added. The best part of the stripes is at the end they fade into checkers and look amazing. This was all airbrushed and truly art work! Everything on the exterior is new including such items as all the stainless trim, windshield molding, wipers, door handles, grill, bumpers, lights, emblems, etc. The glass is beautiful! The car sits perfectly on new Boss 18” wheels that give it a modern twist! The pearl white interior is beautiful and compliments the exterior just right. Everything in the interior is new including such items as the headliner, dash, gauge cluster, door panels and hardware, seats, seat belts, carpet, etc. Some interior upgrades include a brushed Classic Dash with white Auto meter gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel, custom sound system, power windows, air conditioning and carpeted floor mats! The engine compartment is highly detailed and home to the built 383 V8 with roughly 425HP. The firewall was painted green and the inner fenders were left in black. The engine has many upgrades such as a K&N air cleaner, Edlebrock performer intake, ignition, Chevrolet black valve covers, etc. This engine was built by Donahue Racing. It starts and runs like a small black but has the power and sound of a big block. It’s got the best of both worlds! The engine breathes through Hooker ceramic coated headers and complete Magnaflow exhaust system. Once again, it sounds great! The engine is coupled to a built automatic transmission with a 3000 stall converter! The trunk compartment is all new and painted in a gray color similar to the factory! It’s equipped with a power steering that works excellent. This car drives very straight down the road! The undercarriage of this car is also very detailed and show quality. This undercarriage is so detailed you need to bring mirrors with you to high light it at car shows. As mentioned above the frame was painted gloss black. The floors were painted the color as the exterior. The paint on these floors is nicer than a lot of classic vehicles exterior paint! The suspension system has all been upgraded with a Hotchkis kit and it handles great! It has four wheel disc brakes at all four corners and stops great! This vehicle has received a complete classic car detail by MS CLASSIC CARS valued at $400.00! “As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold many beautiful Chevelles over the years that have sold privately and at auctions for top dollar. People always ask me; is there any classic cars you’d like to keep? The answer is yes and this is one of those cars. The 68-72 Chevelle body style is one of my favorite classic cars of all time. I really like this car for many reasons which I’ll share with you. Everything on this car is new which I appreciate. The body is extremely straight and the paint quality is excellent. I really like the Synergy Green color and the white stripes just make it that much better. This is a car you see even when you’re not looking for it. The pearl white interior is stunning and the bench seat is just cool for cruising especially when you feel like having your significant other side over. The dash, gauges, steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning and sound system add the extra touch. The engine compartment is highly detailed and the built 383 V8 starts, runs and sounds excellent. The undercarriage is also highly detailed and has many upgrades including Hotchkis suspension and four wheel disc brakes. This is beautiful restoration that has so many reasons to purchase it. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro
