1995 Z-28 Camaro This is a one-of-a kind Z-28 Camaro that is sure to turn lots of heads. At roughly 204,000 miles this car was completely rebuilt after the stock engine needed rebuilding. In 2011 the engine was built, transmission rebuilt and the Moser axle installed. All the suspension and braking system was redone as well. Engine, transmission, and rear end all have Royal Purple oil. The engine tuning has been a struggle and this engine would benefit greatly from an LS computer swap. It is currently running a stock computer with a 2 bar map tune. The clear coat is starting to fade in places on the car but the body is fairly straight. There are only a couple small dents. There are some scratches and plenty of rock chips…to be expected on a 22 year old car.. Hasn’t been driven much in the past 4 years. New window motor on the driver side. Passenger window is slow (I have a new window motor for it). A lot of money was spent on this car and nothing was spared. The car currently needs some tuning but it runs and drives. The car is plumbed with a NOS bottle (Custom painted to match car) in the back but the new engine has never been sprayed (there are no solenoids and this kit was used with the stock engine). I finally found this car as it was being sold through a estate sale in southern Wisconsin. The car had original paint, interior and drive train with all matching numbers being a factory RS 327 3 speed on the floor. It was a one family owned camaro purchased new in southern Wisconsin (look at video for pic of car in original color showing body no rust and original interior.) Although the car is sold miles exempt as it is over ten years old, I believe the miles are actual on the car. I brought the car back home to Iowa not knowing if I was going to leave it as a survivor with the original paint and 3 speed and use it as a daily driver or restore it to a high performance Camaro like I always wanted. I left it original for around 10 years and drove it as a daily driver in its original state. In 2012 I had full restoration started on it converting it to 4 speed on the floor (era correct) and a complete engine rebuild, trans rebuild etc, and paint etc. Starting with the engine, I spent roughly $14000-$15000 on the factory engine from a speed shop we use rebuilding it and making it a absolute powerhouse. The speed shop who did the work informed me that it was pushing 500 horsepower and it makes this car a absolute blast to drive. We had them put in a upgraded radiator with two cooling electric fans installed. Too many things to list , email me and I can get you a full list of parts and things done to it. We ordered a complete era correct M22 4 speed with a center force clutch and a hurst era correct 4 speed shifter. It has new exhaust including headman headers. We had all new brakes, master cylinder, pads etc installed and purchased 4 era correct rally wheels, hubs, trim and four new raised white letter BFG tires. I had new Air shocks installed in the rear. I had the headlight cover motors replaced new (they open and shut good) installed the lower fog light valance. all of the guages are original and work. All of the lights and blinkers work. The radio is working great and is a retro upper end am /fm with all of the hookups for mp3's/ipad/iphone etc ( hook ups/plug ins are the two wires under radio) . Works and sounds awesome. I had the body completely stripped and it only needed one patch panel on the passenger side in back of the rear wheel well, otherwise it is original metal with no rust. At the time of the paint, I decided to clone it as a Z28 and went with hugger orange with all of the badges/emblems correct. I orderered new seat upholstery but elected not to use it as the upholstery that is in the car is original and looks great for the age. I am including the new upholstry should you want to do it later. I am also including the original RS hood which still retains the original paint and color should you want to go back to it instead of the cowl induction Z28 hood that is on it now. I have used the car on two car club ralleys this last summer for a total of around 500 miles and it rode and drove like a dream with no issues. I am estimating that I put no more than 3000 miles on this car since the restoration was completed 2 years ago. I am selling this car out of my personal collection with sadness in my heart as I really do love it ,and I really feel it is a special car. I am doing a expansion project where I am expanding my showroom where I keep my classics and I am selling some of my collection to absorb some of the cost involved. Up for your consideration is a nice solid example of a 1984 Z/28 Camaro with the L69 High Output engine option. This has been my dads' cruising car on days where it's nice enough to take the T tops off. We are losing our storage space and we had a tough choice to make. We ended up deciding that it's better to let the car go to someone that has a place to store it because leaving it out in the weather just isn't right. Clean and clear KS title in hand. The Z car has been a car that was taken care of, but didn't go without being driven somewhat regularly. It is a very original example of a 1984 Camaro Z/28. From the double snorkel air intake to the High Output 5.0 badging this car is an 80's icon through and through and still has the styling to keep up with modern sports car looks. All of the option features work as they should except for the cruise control,windshield washer sprayer,and the passenger safety belt won't reel back in. It has some rust on the rear quarters and it does have exhaust smoke. The floor pans are original and solid, no leaks out of the T tops. It starts easy and goes up the highway nice and smooth. I have to say that it's a great feeling having the tops off and cruising up the highway, it's where the car is happy at. The tires are new within the last year and it stops with a nice firm brake pedal. Power hatch option works as it should and the hatch struts pick up the hatch with no problem. The hood struts are also fully functional and work as they should. A/C blows cold air , but in all honesty I would recommend having it serviced to get the maximum cooling capability. The gauge cluster was upgraded to a Dakota Digital unit at 94,000 miles. I still have the original dash cluster that will go with the car at time of ownership transfer. I could go on and bore you with all of the option codes this car has, but I know that stuff is fun for a new owner to look up. One of the cool things I have learned is that this car was crowned "The Best Handling American Car" by Car and Driver magazine in 1984. It is one of the more loaded up models and is only short a couple of options from being a full order sheet car. Some of the options include all of the windows being factory tinted, 4 wheel disc brakes, tilt wheel, dual power mirrors, power locks, and power windows. All in all this 84 Z/28 H.O. is a very solid example of one of the last factory muscle cars with a carburetor . If the new owner is needing delivery I am available to do that.
